기술 융합 시대에 IT 중소기업의 외부 정보 네트워크의 다양성과 제품 품질 개선: 생산 공정 개선의 매개적 역할 (IT SMEs' External Information Network Diversity and Product Quality Improvement in the Era of Technology Convergence: The Mediating Role of the Production Process Improvement)

  • 좋은 제품 품질은 기업의 성공을 가능하게 하는 데에 매우 필수적이기 때문에 기술 개발을 통한 제품 품질 개선방안은 많은 최고경영자들이 숙고하는 가장 중요한 문제들 중 하나이다. 기술 개발을 통한 제품 품질 개선과 관련하여, 본 연구는 정보 기술 분야의 중소기업들의 외부 정보 네트워크의 다양성이 생산 공정 개선을 통해 제품 품질 개선에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증 분석을 시도 하였다. 본 연구는 최소자승 회귀분석을 통해 310개의 IT 중소기업을 실증 분석하여 다음과 같은 2가지 중요 사항을 조명한다. 첫째, IT 중소기업의 외부 정보 네트워크의 다양성은 기술 개발을 통한 제품 품질 개선에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 둘째, IT 중소기업의 생산 공정 개선은 외부 정보 네트워크의 다양성이 제품 품질 개선에 미치는 정(+)의 영향을 부분 매개 한다.

  • The aircraft production quality management system in Korea has been implemented to support the developmental phase of Korean aircraft industries, from overhaul of the aircraft and engines to development of military trainer aircraft. After the deletion of the Mil-Q-9858A standard in 1996, Korean aerospace companies established ISO 9001 and AS 9100 as their basic aerospace quality management system specifications. These quality standards were adopted in the same period of time by other leading international aircraft manufacturing companies. This paper presents a future direction on the improvement of quality management systems for Korean aircraft production company by considering (1) Korean governments strategy for the development of Korean aircraft Production industries, (2) short and long term business plan of Korean aerospace industries, and (3) benchmarking leading international company's quality management systems.

  • This study investigated the method of continuous improvement of small-medium company production processes through POSCO's QSS(Quick Six Sigma) activities. QSS is a field operation technique that encompasses the advantages of Six Sigma, TPS(Toyota Production System), TQM (Total Quality Management), and IE(Industrial Engineering). Through this, POSCO not only encourages activities centered on related small and medium-sized partners, etc., but is also expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's own production process through QSS activities. In this study, rather than unconditionally carrying out activities according to the needs of large companies, the research is to help the continuous improvement of the actual production process of small and medium-sized enterprises by effectively applying and spreading QSS activities in consideration of the characteristics and environment of the company. For this purpose, empirical research is conducted on the process improvement activities and QSS activities of company Y, which has less than 100 assembly and production quality and inspection processes among SMEs. The changes in the production process improvement of SMEs through the application of the final QSS were investigated through empirical studies.

QFD를 적용한 전자동 온도조절장치 개발사례 연구 (An Application of QFD to the Development of Full Automatic Temperature Controller)

  • The Quality Function Deployment(QFD) is a Quality Management technique to maximize customers' satisfaction by reflecting customer requirements into all business processes, including concept definition, product planning, parts planning, process planning, production planning, and sales planning. The basic concept of the QFD is to translate customers' requirements appropriately into engineering characteristics, into parts characteristics, into process characteristics, and into specific requirements and activities in production. In this study, we reviewed and analyzed the application process of the QFD to the development of A2 FATC (Full Automatic Temperature Controller), an automotive component developed and produced by company A. It has been reported that by applying the QFD to the development of A2 FATC, company A. achieved 34% improvement in control robustness quality characteristic, 27% improvement in deviation quality characteristic, and 30% improvement in overall quality characteristics.

  • Quality management has been recognized as an important means to secure business competitiveness for management environment changes and competitiveness reinforcement. An effort of an ISO 9001 certification has thought that it is the best way to practice quality management. This paper checks a quality management situation of manufacturing companies that acquired ISO 9001 certification. Then, this paper investigates whether quality management is actual1y contributing to production performance and proposes proper alternatives for an improvement of production performance.

과수 고품질 시설현대화 사업 효과분석 -사과와 포도를 중심으로- (Analyzing Impacts of Facility Modernization Policy for Improvement of Fruits Quality -Focus on Apples and Grapes-)

  • The Facility Modernization Policy for Improvement of Fruits Quality was implemented to improve the competitiveness of the domestic fruit tree sector, and as a result of analyzing samples of participating and non-participating farmers, it is judged to have contributed to the improvement of high-quality fruit production. As a result of analysis using the propensity score matching method, it was found that the Facility Modernization Policy for apple farms contributed to the improvement of fruit quality such as sweetness and high-quality product ratio. In addition, the fruit tree high-quality facility modernization project was found to reduce working hours by about 30 hours per 10a. In the case of grapes, it contributed to quality improvement, including increased sugar content, and reduced working hours by about 15.5 hours per 10a. This study has a limitation in that the number of samples subject to the survey is not large enough, and because of this, it appears that no statistically significant differences in performance variables such as production per unit area and management costs per unit area were found between participating and non-participating farms.

다품종 소량 생산 체제의 스마트 공장 구축 사례: (주) IDIS를 중심으로 (A Case Study of the Construction of Smart Factory in a Small Quantity Batch Production System: Focused on IDIS Company)

  • Purpose: This study is to help the construction of smart factories of other manufacturing enterprises through IDIS 's case of smart factory construction. Methods: We introduce the four phases of implementing smart factory building by IDIS company, which produces a small quantity of multi-odd units. Results: Through the smart factory construction, the cost of product is reduced due to the improvement of total productivity such as office work, production work, and energy saving, and sales are enhanced by customized production, quality / delivery reliability improvement. Conclusion: We present the actual examples needed to build the manufacturer's smart factory.

FMEA를 활용한 군수품 초도 생산 및 양산 단계의 위험 식별 방안 연구 (A Study on the Risk Identification Methods for Initial and Mass Production Stage of Military Products Using FMEA)

  • Purpose: It can deduce improvement plan that recognizes any risk factors in initial production and mass production by using FMEA and through this process, the appropriate criteria for defence items can be established. Methods: It proposes two methodology - Apply DT/OT data achieved from the beginning mass production stage based on FMECA data of the design stage, to risk management, and risk management plan that reflected line and field faliure data in case of is offered. Results: It proposes the risk management plan through Bayesian method and the risk identification that considered MTTF estimated value in case of initial production process. In case of mass production process, both risk identification by using fault occurrence frequency scores and Byaesian method, In case of the Initial production and mass production, it proposes use both two methods. Conclusion: A more realistic risk identification method can be applied, and by this method the quality improvement effect is expected.

  • This study aims to make detail examination of smallholder dairy farming systems in the Nongpho Dairy Cooperative. Forty-three dairy farms were selected from three geographical areas i.e. irrigated area, municipality area, and factory area. Within each area some number of sample farms were selected from each of the three levels of farm and animal crowdedness (very crowded, crowded, and not crowded farms). Detail data were collected during 1996 to 1997, they were socio-economic conditions of the sample farms and farmers, dairy production systems and management of resources (animals, bam, feeds, stocking rates, herd structure, animal body conditions, milk yield and milk quality, manure and farm wastes management, and other related items). Detail information useful for the improvement of farm production efficiency were discussed. It was very clear that much improvement of smallholder dairy production can be achieved if the recommendations given by this study were implemented.

  • Continuing and Developing the growth, the company should focus on 'time to market of high quality production' and 'cost down'. Due to the complexity of the production, reliability is being one of the important factor. In this study, in particular, focus on parts reliability test improvement about printer product and proceeded. Need test improvement for time to market that is developed, and reduce expense with test period that is required at Reliability Test time of new parts and should high quality level of product. Finally huge Failure Cost (F-COST) occurs because quality level of product drops if parts that accomplish product does not ensure reliability and this is associated by malfunction in marketplace.
