  • The purpose of this study was to standardize ingredients used by school foodservices. This study analyzed the current notation of ingredients in used by used in school foodservices through the NEIS system employed by school foodservices of elementary schools through high schools in South Korea. Specifically, this study suggests systemized standardization of ingredient classification and quality attributes of at school foodservices by applying a case study analysis. The findings from the case analysis of the Electronic Procurement System operator are as follows. Classifications for ingredients of the NEIS system used by school food services consisted of included food group, food name, detailed food name, and description. Classification was not clearly divided between the classification scheme and the attribute system. Therefore, food group, food name, and product information of each food should be categorized as the classification scheme, whereas the detailed food name (excluding product information) and description should be standardized as the attribute system, which is composed of required attributes, recommended attributes, and other attributes. This study suggests that system standardization should be carried out in the field of school foodservices, as advancements between distributors and school food service providers could affect food ingredient quality. Thus, standardization can influence purchase and distribution in many ways.

  • In this study we sought to determine the food fraud by discriminating species of commercial seafood product such as Larimichthys polyactis, Larimichthys crocea, Pennahia argentatus, and Miichthys miiuy, which are difficult to morphologically discriminate. After amplifying the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene of the reference fish, the DNA sequences of the amplified PCR products were analyzed. As a result, a 655 bp sequence for species identification was selected for use as DNA barcodes. To confirm the DNA data and primer set, the DNA barcode sequence of each fish was compared to that in that in the NCBI. All of the DNA barcode data were matched with the gene sequence of each fish in the NCBI. A total of 32 processed seafood products (8 L. polyactis, 12 L. crocea, 3 Pennahia argentatus, and 9 Miichthys miiuy) were investigated. Homology of 97% or more in DNA sequences was judged as the same species. As a result of the monitoring, there were no discovered cases of forgery or alteration. However, the use of a raw material name having no matching standard name in the Korea Food Code may cause consumer confusion. Therefore, it is suggested that the standard name or scientific name be co-labeled with the raw material name on seafood products to prevent consumer confusion.

  • Purpose The study aims to develop a data-based decision model for private bankers when recommending hedge funds to their customers in financial institutions. Design/methodology/approach The independent variables are set in two groups. The independent variables of the first group are aggressive investors, active investors, and risk-neutral type investors. In the second group, variables considered by private bankers include customer propensity to invest, reliability, product subscription experience, professionalism, intimacy, and product understanding. A decision-making variable for a private banker is in recommending a first-rate general private fund composed of foreign and domestic FinTech products. These contain dependent variables that include target return rate(%), fund period (months), safeguard existence, underlying asset, and hedge fund name. Findings Based on the research results, there is a 94.4% accuracy in decision-making when the independent variables (customer rating, reliability, intimacy, product subscription experience, professionalism and product understanding) are used according to the following order of relevant dependent variables: step 1 on safeguard existence, step 2 on target return rate, step 3 on fund period, and step 4 on hedge fund name. Next, a 93.7% accuracy is expected when decision-making uses the following order of dependent variables: step 1 on safeguard existence, step 2 on target return rate, step 3 on underlying asset, and step 4 on fund period. In conclusion, a private banker conducts a decision making stage when recommending hedge funds to their customers. When examining a private banker's recommendations of hedge funds to a customer, independent variables influencing dependent variables are intimacy, product comprehension, and product subscription experience according to a categorical regression model and artificial neural network analysis model.

  • The importance of software is increasing due to the development of information and communication, and software copyright disputes are also increasing. In this paper, the source of the submitted programs and the files necessary for the execution of the program were taken as the scope of analysis. The large-capacity file transfer solution program to be analyzed provides additional functions such as confidentiality, integrity, user authentication, and non-repudiation functions through digital signature and encryption of data.In this paper, we analyze the program A, program B, and the program C. In order to calculate the program similarity rate, the following contents are analyzed. Analyze the similarity of the package structure, package name, source file name in each package, variable name in source file, function name, function implementation source code, and product environment variable information. It also calculates the overall similarity rate of the program. In order to check the degree of agreement between the package structure and the package name, the similarity was determined by comparing the folder structure. It also analyzes the extent to which the package structure and package name match and the extent to which the source file (class) name within each package matches.

  • This study investigated the influence of consumers' self-construal and self-monitoring on brand product preference by moderating brand visibility. Brand visibility consisted of product typicality and brand salience. The study results showed that respondents preferred products with high product typicality and low brand salience. Respondents with interdependent self-construal and high self-monitoring also showed a higher preference for high product typicality and low brand salience versus respondents with independent self-construal and low self-monitoring. Respondents preferred a product when they recognized a brand name, but brand visibility should be exposed naturally. Based on these results, this study has practical implications for the importance of maintaining brand identity and the appropriacy of brand logo size.

The consumers in the global market purchase luxury goods based on both craftsmanship and the reputation of luxury brands. Factors such as the origin, brand and pricing can affect the intention of consumers to buy luxury goods. This study analyzed the optimum brand combination using conjoint analysis. The analysis was based on the selection of origin, brand name and price as extrinsic factors among attributes of customer choice. These factors were subdivided into Italian and Chinese origins, Gucci, Prada, and Miu Miu in terms of brand names, and 450,000, 750,000, and 1,500,000 Won in terms of price levels. • The purpose of this study was to develop a large representative data base for character goods marketing strategy. The study was to determine character name awareness in relation to segmented distribution regions and such demographic variables as sex and age. The author also analyzed preferred design. A total of 360 questionnaires were distributed and 359 reliable ones were used for statistical analysis. A SAS statistical package including frequency tables and Chi square test and factor analysis and Kendall′s relation analyses was used. The results are as follow : character name awareness involves "character name decognition" based on asking subjects to identify character names from 50 given names. "Tele-tubbies" was found to be a dominant commercial character name as a result of the recognition test, and "Sailer-moon" was found to be a dominant animation character goods as a result of the recognition test. Character recognition was significantly different in the segmented distribution legions, three age groups and different sex groups. People considered design first in purchasing any character goods, and they considered color second in purchasing them. The most favored part of garment far character to be stitch to was the center front in the T-shirt/dress shirt, the center back in the Jumper/jacket, back pocket in the trousers/skirt.
