We focused on the identification of the amenity value of reservoir in the rural area and the economic evaluation for establishing infrastructure such as swimming pool based on the reservoir's landscape value. To this end, we have conducted the case study on the outdoor swimming pool in connection with Go-Bok reservoir in Yeon-Gi county, Chungnam Province and estimated its income effect on the rural community by cost-benefit analysis method. The research results are as follows; 1) Outdoor swimming pool participants, with 11,581 visitors totaled to Yeon-gi county every year, was estimated to spend the worth of 58,446 thousand won paid for the agricultural product purchase and etc. 2) Internal rate return of the outdoor swimming pool project was estimated to 16.19%, which considered to be economically feasible comparing with 10% of current capital opportunity cost. Based on the results of this study, we suggest the following strategies for development of amenity value of swimming pool in connected with the reservoir; 1) Reservoir amenities should be well preserved even after construction of swimming pool lest losing amenity values while managing the facilities. 2) Measures to increase the marketing value of intangible reservoir's amenities through promotion should be established. 3) Effective program for more visitors with longer staying and more agricultural products sales should be designed.
In this paper, I will show several theoretical nonconformities which can be found in P. Singer's concept of human beings. As we know, P. Singer is a well-known animal liberalist. On the one hand, Singer regards man as a subordinate being to nature and on the other, as a transcendent being. This is the first inconsistency of Singer's concept of man. His second inconsistency is related to his position on the power of reason. He believes that it is the product of evolution, and at the same time that it is a power to resist the blindness of evolution. Thirdly, he also exposes the contradictory attitude in evaluation on man's moral ability. Considering these three contradictions, it becomes clear that Singer has failed to prove his claim that there is no qualitative difference between human beings and animals. Despite the popularity of his theory, I believe the theoretical foundation of Singer's animal liberation theory is rather weak. The reason for revealing the weakness of Singer's theory is not to return to the practice of mercilessly handling animals but to show that it is wrong to undermine human dignity under the guise of animal welfare.
This study is to evaluate economic effect of the creation project of snow crab, Chionoecetes opilio, spawning and habitat ground in Uljin and Youngdeok county. The main results of this study are summarized as follows: first, 14,400 million won was invested in the creation project cost of Chionoecetes opilio spawning and habitat ground of Uljin and Youngdeok County from 2015 to 2020. Second, the creation project of Chionoecetes opilio spawning and habitat ground directly provides fishing benefits, festival benefits, research and development benefits and employment benefits. Third, on the basis of above benefits, the creation project of Chionoecetes opilio spawning and habitat ground has net present value of 29,900.53 million won, internal rate of return 16.9%, and benefit-cost of 2.91 under a 4.5% social discount rate. Also, the creation project creates 195 jobs. This indicates that the creation project of Chionoecetes opilio spawning and habitat ground not only contributes to the increase in the income of coastal fishery and fishing villages but also to the job making. The result of this study provides useful information to policy makers or project managers as it shows that the project to create spawning and habitat ground should be carried out in consideration of the resource and biological characteristics of individual fish and that economic assessment logic should also be developed based on this. Also, it proves that the project to create a snow crab spawning and habitat ground is a national and local infrastructure project that increases the actual fishing income in the region. At the same time, it maintains the reproducibility function of most fish species, along with enhancing the people's benefits such as fishing village tourism and marine product consumption. Moreover, it provides useful information on budgeting for the continuous development of snow crab spawning and habitat ground in the mid to long-term.

This paper proposes an antenna that is located outside the PCB substrate of an electronic product to enable wireless communication in the ISM band. The PCB designed the T-shaped OPEN-STUB power supply line to be miniaturized so that it does not interfere with parts or interfere with design. The characteristics of the antenna were confirmed in the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands using a T-shaped stub feeder and a spiral structure. The size of the antenna is 5mm in width × 6.5mm in length, and the thickness of the PCB is 1.2T. As a result of measurement of the manufactured antenna, it was possible to obtain a return loss of -10dB or more at 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz. In the E-plane, the gain was -4.45 dBi, and in the H-plane, the gain was -1.05 dBi. Therefore, the proposed small antenna for wireless communication showed excellent performance.

The existing fruit sorter has the method of tilting tray and extracting fruits by the action of solenoid or springs. In peaches, the most sort processing is supported by man because the sorter make fatal damage to peaches. In order to sustain commodity and quality of peach non-destructive, non-contact and real time based sorter was needed. This study was performed to develop peach sorter using near-infrared spectroscopy in real time and nondestructively. The prototype was developed to decrease internal and external damage of peach caused by the sorter, which had a way of extracting tray with it. To decrease positioning error of measuring sugar contents in peaches, fiber optic with two direction diverged was developed and attached to the prototype. The program for sorting and operating the prototype was developed using visual basic 6.0 language to measure several quality index such as chlorophyll, some defect, sugar contents. The all sorting result was saved to return farmers for being index of good quality production. Using the prototype, program and MLR(multiple linear regression) model, it was possible to estimate sugar content of peaches with the determination coefficient of 0.71 and SEC of 0.42bx using 16 wavelengths. The developed MLR model had determination coefficient of 0.69, and SEP of 0.49bx, it was better result than single point measurement of 1999's. The peach sweetness grading system based on NIR reflectance method, which consists of photodiode-array sensor, quartz-halogen lamp and fiber optic diverged two bundles for transmitting the light and detecting the reflected light, was developed and evaluated. It was possible to predict the soluble solid contents of peaches in real time and nondestructively using the system which had the accuracy of 91 percentage and the capacity of 7,200 peaches per an hour for grading 2 classes by sugar contents. Draining is one of important factors for production peaches having good qualities. The reason why one farm's product belows others could be estimated for bad draining, over-much nitrogen fertilizer, soil characteristics, etc. After this, the report saved by the peach grading system will have to be good materials to farmers for production high quality peaches. They could share the result or compare with others and diagnose their cultural practice.
Modern company faces an uncertain future and a competitive environment and are seeking new technologies and creative products to ensure the corporate growth and survival in the market through continuous innovation. "University Industry Cooperation(UIC)" is a point of contact for overcoming the crisis faced by companies and universities in this era and a cooperation platform for mutual prosperity. As a subsidiary of a university, "Technology Holding Company(THC)" is attracting attention as a new window for UIC in Korea. The role of THC is to establish and foster the business opportunities of their subsidiaries and to return investment profits to the university ecosystem again. But recently, the life cycle of technology is getting shorter, and the development cost is steadily increasing. In particular, with the increase of hybrid projects based on convergence and combination, the risk of conducting research(R&D) and new product development(NPD) projects is gradually increasing. A PMO refers to a project management organization that can contribute to improving the success rate of projects with increasing uncertainty by supporting project visibility and appropriate decision-making. The purpose of this study is to raise a research question on whether THC's corporate performance can be improved when "Project Management System(PMO Service)" is introduced into the subsidiary incubation system of THC. This study proposes several research methods to identify the relationship between the introduction of PMO and the corporate performance of THC.

This study aims at evaluation of the fire resistance performance of cementitious materials for fire protection of tunnel. For this purpose, the research procedure was divided into three parts. First, base mix proportion with different material type were determined by fire test. Second, the fire test of cementitious materials for fire resistance were performed on base mix proportions to evaluated their performance. Third, the performance of cementitious materials for fire resistance compare to the target value and existing commercial products. If the performance of developed cemetitious materials for fire resistance were satisfied the target value, this studies were stopped. But, this research return to first process if the performance of cementitious materials for fire resistance are not satisfied the target value. As a result of this study, the spalling did not happen for develop and existing commercial product. Also, developed cementitious materials for fire resistance are shown with excellent compressive strength, flexural strength, and bond strength, because it used a height density aggregate. And developed cementitious materials has sufficient resistance for fire.

China is the largest producer and consumer of mushrooms, and the development of China's mushroom industry poses a serious threat to Korea, which has similar mushroom production and consumption tendencies. China's mushroom industry produced only 50,000 tons around 1985 when statistical data began to be published, but by 2020, it has developed into an industry with annual production exceeding 40 million tons. The rapid development of the mushroom industry in China is due to high profitability, rapid funds turnover, rapid return on investment, active support from local governments, increased preference and consumption of healthy foods due to increased national income, expansion of overseas exports, and introduction of automated facility cultivation. Recently, there is a high possibility that mushroom production through automated facility cultivation in China will be excessive, so if measures are not taken, there is a high possibility that it will encroach on the Korean mushroom market. Therefore, in order to protect domestic mushroom farmers and industries, it is necessary to accurately identify and analyze the current status of China's mushroom industry.

Franchising has long been an effective form of distribution that is used primarily by manufacturers whose product lines are especially suited exclusive or highly selective distribution. By IFA(International Franchise Association), franchising is defined as a continuing relationship in which the franchisor provides a licensed privilege to do business, plus assistance in organizing, training, merchandising, and management in return for a consideration from the franchisee. Thus franchising is a method for the owner(franchisor) of product, service, or method to obtain retail or wholesale distribution through licensed, affiliated dealers(franchisees). With rapid increase of franchising industry globally, franchising industry is very rapidly increasing especially in the sector of outdoor restaurant industry in Korea. But there are many problems to be settled for promoting this industry. For example, the industry is too much lean outdoor restaurant industry. With franchisors' short history and lack of management capacity, shortage of distribution infrastructure, smaller size of franchising system, and low trust between franchisor and franchisee, and so on, the industry has many barriers to overcome for promoting it. Here we are suggesting that taxation benefaction, monetary support for the starting franchisee, establishment of fair trade principle, promoting information system and professional human resource should be needed.
The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of consumers who purchase home meal replacements (HMR) and to analyze the differences for frequency of use, preference, satisfaction, and repurchase intention based on HMR product categories. The subjects were adults in their twenties or older, who had used HMRs and lived in Seoul and the Gyeonggi Province of Korea. Five-hundred and fifty subjects were chosen by random sampling, and questionnaires were distributed from March 12 to 30, 2005. A total of 451 questionnaires were returned (the rate of return was 82%). The primary results of the study are as follows. First, by analyzing for differences based on the demographical characteristics of the HMR consumers, men had higher 'frequencies of use' and preference, whereas women had higher satisfaction and 'intentions to purchase again.' This implies that HMRs assist women who are usually in charge of home food preparation, based on time and cooking effort; hence a higher satisfaction among the women. Second, by analyzing for differences based on the characteristics of HMR consumers who ate the products, 'frequency of use' (p<.001), preference (p<.01), satisfaction (p<.001), and 'intention to repurchase' (p<.001) for the 'ready to eat' HMR category, by the person who prepared the food, were significantly higher for those subjects in their 20s than for those in other age groups. As for persons influenced by the meal, the teen age group had significantly lower 'frequency of use'(p<.001), preference (p<.05), satisfaction (p<.01) and 'intention to repurchase' (p<.01) than other age groups. 'Frequency of use' (p<.001) and preference (p<.05) were lower if the person influenced by the meal was one's spouse or child than if the person influenced by the meal was oneself. Third, regarding the preference for eating at home or eating out, 'frequency of use' was significantly higher than the other analyzed factors for the 'ready to eat,' 'ready to heat,' and 'ready to end-cook' HMR categories. In short, the 'frequency of use' for HMRs was higher for those who preferred to eat at home versus eating out, simply as a result of being bored with eating out, which is essentially the reason for the origin of HMR.
