퍼지추론을 이용한 자동동조 PID 제어기의 설계 (A Design of Auto-Tuning PID Controller using Fuzzy Reasoning)

  • This paper describes a new auto tuning method for the intelligent PID control system. This new method is hosed on the settling time of the process and has been introduced into auto-tuning PID controller using fuzzy logic. The performance of the controller is measured by computer simulation. Simulation shows good results that controller searches well the optimal values of PID parameters in any conditions and the response characteristic of the control system is improved.

  • The carborne Automatic Train Control(ATC) system keeps automatically optimum train speed code signals from wayside(track) circuit equipment. If there is no response for braking against the over speed detected, the driver will be noticed instantly by visual and audible warning signals. And then the ATC processes into braking mode for safe train operations to prevent any hazards by over speed limit. In this paper we are introduced the novel ATC system which has triple constructed structure made by 32 bit floating point DSP(ADSP21020-20) and process dealed with frequency domain and time domain for detecting signals. Owing to these reason it is no needed several band pass filters used in conventional ATC systems to detect the speed limit frequency. Also system's reliability and tolerance are incremented by adopt to 2 out of 3 logic to the outputs decision.

  • Generally, the application of Programmable Logic Controller PLC is emphasized on the Process Control. This paper presents Neurofuzzy application, Which can estimate the distance to a fault by means of PLC and based up on the Electrical Power System theory and ground resistance. The case study refers to the distribution lines of the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). Also, the thesis is supposed to be of much benefit: saving time both to go to the scene and to clear fault, reducing unpleasant impacts on customers and stabilizing reliability of the distribution lines.

  • Recently, it was very difficult for hydraulic governor to regulate the speed of high power engine with long stroke at low speed and low load, because of the jiggling phenomena by rough fluctuation of rotating torque and the hunting phenomena by long dead time occurred in fuel combustion process in the engine cylinder. In this paper, the influence of engine dead time is investigated by Nickels chart, and hybrid controller selected advantages of PID and fuzzy logic controller is provided to improve the performance of speed control of a low speed and long stroke diesel engine.

  • The traffic congestion caused by the exploding increase of vehicles became one of the severest social problems. Among the various approaches to solve this problem, controlling the length of traffic signals appropriately according to the individual traffic situation would be the most plausible and cost-effective method. To design a traffic signal controller which has such a property as adaptive decision-making process, we adopt fuzzy logic control method(fuzzy traffic signal controller), Moreover, using genetic algorithms we obtain an optimized fuzzy traffic signal controller (GA-fuzzy traffic signal controller). To evaluate and validate the proposed fuzzy and GA-fuzzy traffic signal controller, simulation results are presented.

  • This paper propose the method of constructing the highly efficiency adder and multiplier systems over finite fie2, degree of uk terms, therefore we decrease k into m-1 degree using irreducible primitive polynomial. We propose two method of control signal generation for perform above decrease process. One method is the combinational logic expression and the other method is universal signal generation. The proposed method of constructing the highly adder/multiplier systems is as following. First of all, we obtain algorithms for addition and multiplication arithmetic operation based on the mathematical properties over finite fields, next we construct basic cell of A-cell and M-cell using T-gate and modP cyclic gate. Finally we construct adder module and multiplier module over finite fields after synthesize ${\alpha}$$\^$k/ generation module and control signal CSt generation module with A-cell and M-cell. Then, we propose the future research and prospects.

  • This paper presents a novel SOFLIC(self organizing fuzzy logic intelligent controller) for reactor rod control system in nuclear power plant. The output of fuzzy controller is gener ated by using two signal : the error between reference and average temperature, and the error between reference and neutron flux-converted temperatures. Flexibility of the controller is enhanced by using self-organizing feature and the controller respond to variation of system parameter with more precision. performances of the SOFLIC and PID are simulated with the model developed for a nuclear power plant. The SOFLIC is superior to PID : SOFLIC provides more rapid load following capability. more robustiness for variation in process dynamics and minimization of engineer's mistakes in controller design.

  • This paper presents an on-line monitoring and control system designed for the automation of a Concrete plant. The system is based on the combined structure composed of a general purpose PLC (Plogrammable Logic Controller) and a personal computer. Simulation results are ahem to illustrate the system operation. Preconstructed rules are applied to the plant data for the diagnosis of the weighing process in the simulation.

  • There are many cases that interrupt the production process because of malfunctions caused by electronic circuit boards which control equipment, but it is difficult to distinctly identify the causes in many cases. Especially, CMOS devices with the control logic circuit return automatically to normal state after their own faults. Therefore it is not easy to analyze the problems with electronic circuit boards. Recently, nuclear power plant experienced a failure due to the malfunction of electronic circuit boards and it was identified that the reason of the malfunction was because of latch-up phenomenon caused by external surge in electronic devices. This paper presents the causes and the phenomenon of latch-up by experiment and also a way using counter EMF diodes, noise filters and surge protective devices to prevent latch-up phenomenon from electronic circuit boards, finally confirms the effectiveness of the result by experiment.

  • In this paper, a new competition strategy for learning vector quantization is proposed. The simple competitive strategy used for learning vector quantization moves the winning prototype which is the closest to the newly given data pattern. We propose a new learning strategy based on k-nearest neighbor prototypes as the winning prototypes. The selection of several prototypes as the winning prototypes guarantees that the updating process occurs more frequently. The design is illustrated with the aid of numeric examples that provide a detailed insight into the performance of the proposed learning strategy.
