User-based and item-based approaches have been developed as the solutions of the movie recommendation problem. However, the user-based approach is faced with the problem of sparsity, and the item-based approach is faced with the problem of not reflecting users' preferences. In order to solve these problems, there is a research on the combination of the two methods using the concept of similarity. In reality, it is not free from the problem of sparsity, since it has a lot of parameters to be calculated. In this study, we propose a combining method that simplifies the combination equation of prior study. This method is relatively free from the problem of sparsity, since it has less parameters to be calculated. Thus, it can get more accurate results by reflecting the users rating to calculate the parameters. It is very fast to predict new movie ratings as well. In experiments for the proposed method, the initial error is large, but the performance gets quickly stabilized after. In addition, it showed about 6% lower average error rate than the existing method using similarity.

본 구성주의적 학습 모형의 일종인 '문제중심학습(Problem-Based Learning: PBL)'을 웹 기반으로 구현하려는 것은 WBI 유형의 다양성을 모색한다는 측면에서 뿐만 아니라, WBI의 구성주의적 활용안의 구체적 사례라는 점에서도 의미가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초등학교 6학년 학생들을 대상으로 웹 기반 문제중심학습 프로그램을 개발하고, 이러한 WBI에 의한 교수 학습 과정이 학업성취에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전통적 수업 2개 집단과 웹 기반 문제중심학습 1개 집단의 총 3개 집단으로 나누어 과학 교과 지도를 통해 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과, 웹 기반 문제중심학습이 학업성취 향상에 효과적임이 규명되었고, ICT활용 능력에 따라서도 학업성취에 있어서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 웹 기반 문제중심학습은 학습자의 ICT활용 능력의 향상에도 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

In this paper, the author analyzed characteristics of deep mathematics learning in problem solving and problem-posing classroom teaching. Based on a simple wrong plane geometry problem, the author describes the classroom experience how one expert Chinese mathematics teacher guides students to modify geometry problems from solution to investigation, and guides the students to learn how to pose mathematics problems in inquiry-based deep learning classroom. This also demonstrates how expert mathematics teacher can effectively guide students to teach deep learning in regular classroom.

본 연구에서는 초등학교 5학년 학생들을 대상으로 구조중심 협동학습을 적용한 문제 만들기 학습이 수학학업성취도 및 수학적 성향에 어떠한 효과가 있는지를 분석하여 초등학교 학습지도에 도움을 줄 수 있는 교수-학습 방법을 제공하기 위한 것이다. 여기서 활용한 문제 만들기 학습 유형은 송민정(2004)의 내용을 참고로 하였으며, 협동학습 구조를 수업 시에 적절히 활용함으로써 학생들에게 수학에 대한 관심과 흥미를 유발시켜서 학업성취도 및 수학적 성향에 긍정적인 영향이 있음을 알 수 있었다.

본 연구는 문제중심학습과 시뮬레이션 실습 융합교육이 간호대학생의 간호지식, 자신감, 비판적 사고성향 및 문제해결능력에 미치는 효과를 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구 대상자는 S지역 S대학교 4학년 간호상황실습2 교과목을 수강한 45명의 학생으로 자료는 자가 보고식 설문지를 이용하여 시뮬레이션 실습 전 후에 수집하였다. 문제중심학습과 시뮬레이션 실습 융합교육은 1주차에 2시간씩 3주차에 걸쳐 진행되었고, 융합교육 후에 간호지식, 자신감, 비판적 사고성향 및 문제해결능력 점수가 향상되었다. 간호지식, 자신감 및 비판적 사고성향은 문제해결능력과 양(+)의 상관관계가 나타나 문제중심학습과 시뮬레이션 실습 융합교육의 효과가 있음을 검증하였다. 따라서 다양한 주제의 문제중심학습과 시뮬레이션 실습을 융합한 교육 프로그램이 개발되고 활용되어야 한다.

Background: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the online team project based learning on problem-solving, cooperative self-efficacy, and cooperative self-regulation of college students. Design: Single group pre-post design. Methods: The online team project based learning was conducted for a total of 92 college students for 8 weeks. A survey was conducted on problem-solving ability, cooperative self-efficacy, and cooperative self-regulation. In the online team project-based class, two projects were performed. It consists of video lectures and real-time video conferencing. Through the real-time video conference, the project was carried out based on discussion among learners and feedback was provided. Results: There was a significant difference in the change in problem-solving ability compared to before learning (p<0.05). As a result of the evaluation of cooperative self-efficacy, there was a significant difference (p<0.05). There was a significant differences in cooperative self-regulation compared to before learning (p<0.05). Conclusion: The online team project-based learning are effective in improving learners' problem-solving ability, cooperative self-efficacy, and cooperative self-regulation.

This paper considers a profit-based unit commitment problem with fuel consumption constraint and maintenance cost, which is one of the key decision problems in electricity industry. The nature of non-linearity inherent in the constraints and objective functions makes the problem intractable which have led many researches to focus on Lagrangian based heuristics. To solve the problem more effectively, we propose mixed integer programming based solution algorithm linearizing the complex non-linear constraints and objectives functions. The computational experiments using the real-world operation data taken from a domestic electricity power generator show that the proposed algorithm solves the given problem effectively.

Problem sovling skill is one of the core skills in mathematics education. To improve students' problem solving skill, the project approach or project based learning has been developed and applied. A teaching and learning strategy utilizing 'project' encourages students to understand the problem embedded in the project, find and reflect the solution, which might be effective in improving students' problem solving skill. The present study systematically reviews literature regarding project based learning and analyzes the characteristics of project. The findings from the systematic review illuminate an appropriate approach to apply project based learning in mathematics classrooms.

We consider the constraint based explicit routing problem in MPLS based IP Network. In this problem, we are given a set of traffic demands and a network with different link capacities. The problem is to assign the demand commodities to the paths in the network while minimizing the maximum link load ratio. We formulate this problem as an integer programming problem and propose an efficient column generation technique. To strengthen the formulation, we consider some valid inequalities. We also incorporate the column generation technique with variable fixing scheme Computational results show that the algorithm gives high quality solutions in a short execution time.

본 연구는 뷰티산업 현장 실무 전문가를 양성하기 위한 피부미용 이론 및 실기 수업을 통해 문제중심학습(PBL) 수업 개발 및 적용하고자 한다. 학습자들에게 피부미용 현장에서 일어나는 실제적인 문제를 제시하고, 그 문제를 해결하기 위해 학습자들 상호간에 공동으로 문제를 해결하는 방안을 강구하고자 한다. 학습자들에게 문제중심학습(PBL)을 적용한 피부미용 수업을 진행하고, 수강 후 그 효과에 대해 분석한다. 본 연구 결과로 현장 실제의 문제를 제시함으로써 학습자들이 실제 전문가들이 하는 일을 이해할 수 있었고, 주어진 문제에 대한 다양한 해결방법을 도출할 수 있다는 부분을 알게 되었다고 하여 문제해결 능력 신장을 기대 해 볼 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과는 문제 탐구와 문제를 해결하기 위한 문제중심학습(PBL) 수업 과정은 학습자의 문제해결능력 향상에 긍정적으로 작용하고 있음을 시사하고 있다.
