  • Irregular mare patches (IMPs), recently discovered on the Moon, are eruptions of magma on the lunar surface, and their origins are still in question. While prior studies on IMPs have mainly focused on optical image analysis, in this study, an analysis of the characteristics of minerals is performed exemplary for the first time. Modified Gaussian model (MGM) deconvolution was applied to the infrared spectrum to confirm the properties of the mafic mineral. Mafic minerals were analyzed for 6 olivine-rich (Ol-rich) IMPs out of 91 currently reported, and only 4 of them yielded results of significance. All four sites showed more abundance of Fe than Mg, and manifested a weak relationship with Mg-suite rock. However, a problem was discovered during the MGM application process due to pilot implementation. In order to solve this problem, it is required to adjust the MGM initial condition settings more precisely and to increase the signal to noise ratio of the observation data. Moreover, it is necessary to analyze the mineral properties for all IMPs considering minerals other than Ol and utilize them to deduce the origin of the IMPs.

  • In this paper, we solve the Hyers-Ulam stability problem for the following cubic type functional equation $$f(rx+sy)+f(rx-sy)=rs^2f(x+y)+rs^2f(x-y)+2r(r^2-s^2)f(x)$$in quasi-Banach space and non-Archimedean space, where $r={\neq}{\pm}1,0$ and s are real numbers.

  • In [1], M. Guignard considered a constraint set in a Banach space, which is similar to that in [2] and gave a first order necessary optimality condition which generalized the Kuhn-Tucker conditions [3]. Sufficiency is proved for objective functions which is either pseudoconcave [5] or quasi-concave [6] where the constraint sets are taken pseudoconvex. In this note, we consider a psedoconvex programming problem in a Hilbert space. Constraint set in a Hillbert space being pseudoconvex and the objective function is restrained by an operator equation. Then we use the methods similar to that in [1] and [6] to obtain a necessary and sufficient optimality condition.

  • Let M(sup)n be a space-ike submanifold in a de Sitter space M(sub)p(sup)n+p (c) with constant scalar curvature. We firstly extend Cheng-Yau's Technique to higher codimensional cases. Then we study the rigidity problem for M(sup)n with parallel normalized mean curvature vector field.

  • We deal with the classification problem of real hypersurfaces in a complex hyperbolic space. In order to classify real hypersurfaces in a complex hyperbolic space we characterize a real hypersurface M in $H_n(\mathbb{C})$ whose structure vector field is not principal. We also construct extrinsically homogeneous real hypersurfaces with four distinct curvatures and their structure vector fields are not principal.

  • Informatics curriculum has been revised for informatics principles and concepts to effectively teach. According to the revised curriculum, researches are verifying the educational effects of algorithmic thinking and problem-solving abilities using programming language by applying it to various area. However, researches in programming education considering the level of student are yet incomplete. This research has analyzed the impact of the perceived level of problem solving on the performance of project completeness. As results of difference of project completeness, a high perceived level of problem solving group's performance of project completeness was higher than a low perceived level of problem solving group's one. Analysis of the impact of the perceived level of problem solving on the performance of project completeness, 'problem finding' factor had a significant impact. This research suggested the importance of 'problem finding' and self-reflecting introspective 'reviewing' stages in problem solving process using programming language.abstract of your study in English. • The purpose of this study was to analyze students' physics problem solving processes and to find the patterns of their problem spaces when high school and university students solved the physics problems. A total of 51 students in a high school and in two universities participated in this study. Their thinking processes in solving 5 physics problems on electric circuit were recorded by using 'thinking aloud' method and were transferal into protocols. 'The protocols were analyzed by the coding system of problem solving process. One of the major theoretical contributions of the computer simulation approach to problem solving is the idea of problem space. Such a concept of problem space was applied to physics problems on electric circuit in this study, and students' protocols were analyzed by the basic problem spaces which were made up from the item analysis by the researcher. The results are as follows: 1) On the average 4.0 test items among 5 ones were solved successfully by all subjects, and all of the items were solved correctly by only 19 persons among all of them. 2) In regard to the general steps of problem solving process, there was little difference for each item between the good solvers and the poor ones. But according to the degree of difficulty of task there was a good deal of difference. For a complex problem all of 4 steps were used by most of students, but for a simple one only 3 steps except evaluating step were used by most of them. 3) It was found in this study that most of students used mainly the microscopic approach, that is, a method of applying Ohm's law on electric circuit simply and immediately, not using the properties of electric circuits. And also it was observed that most of students used the soloing tom below, that is, a solving path in which they were the first to calculate physical Quantities of circuit elements, before they caught hold of the meaning of the given problem regardless of the degree of difficulty.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose how the interior of the child psychiatric therapy Environment should be designed according to different problems that children have. For the purpose, this research has been conducted with a literature review and an empirical survey. The subjects of the survey were 100 children, 58 male and 42 female, who were using child psychiatric therapy centers located in Busan. Findings are as follows: (1) Children with behavior problem($C_b$) showed a significantly higher satistaction with the entrance and the information in a given child psychiatric therapy space than children with emotional problem ($C_e$) did. (2) Spatial attitude of $C_e$ and $C_b$ were significantly differed. (3) Colors that were being preferred by $C_e$ were cold colors, for example, blue and indigo. While, $C_b$ were preferring warm colors such as red and yellow. (4) There was difference in the image of a entrance and classrooms at the child psychiatric therapy center that children had in mind, the two groups of children were quite differently feeling about the size and noise of the therapy space.

  • An inverse optimal problem for homing guidance with angular constraint is addressed. The gains of BPN(Biased PN) are investigated by duality analysis related to the weighting matrices of the performance index in the LQ control problem. Moreover, the criteria for the existence of optimal gains are derived from the generalized Riccati equation. Based on the conditions we achieve the gain set of BPN to be optimal solution to the LQ problem with terminal constraints. To validate and demonstrate the proposed approach 3-DOF simulations are carried out.
