  • It is the concept of this paper to build up the convergence type of the total class service system, and the goal is to develop the education services, which are differentiated from existing digital textbooks and development tools. We establish developmental programs and convergence strategies from market analyses related to apps and digital education. Then this paper proposes 'E-Class Author Service System (ECA)' as an education service system based on the tablet PC. It is the convergence system of the app type of textbook development tool and class management system. Teachers can produce and develop class materials and textbooks using the app type of textbook development tool in ECA service system. They can also add necessary functions from the class management system for efficient class progress. ECA improves the interaction and communication between a teacher, student and parents in the sever-based network. This study expects that ECA will achieve prior occupation of the app market as an educational app development tool and reduce private education expenses.

  • The main purpose of cyber home education in public sector is to promote public education and restrain expensive private education expenses. The primary purpose of this study is to explore the effects of motivation, immersion and tutor on the effectiveness of cyber home learning. The variables of motivation, immersion and tutor participation were incorporated in this study as follows: 1) tutor participation was classed as a single independent variable, which has interaction and also effects passion; 2) motivation and 3) immersion were classed as two mediatory variables: motivation which include relevance and confidence; and immersion which includes attention and controllability. 4) learning effect was classed as a single dependent variable of learning influence factor which has learning attitude and learning satisfaction. The results show that a tutor had a direct influence on the effects of the learners' study but motivation and immersion had an indirect influence on the effects of learners' study independently. Based on these findings a tutor should provide motivation and immersion with various learning methods and contents for learners to get maximum benefits from cyber home learning.

  • The graying of populations is emerging as an international issue around the world, and this is a problem that is rapidly advancing in Korea as well, signaling the need for financial preparations for the aged. For this purpose, various retirement pension systems are being employed as preparatory measures for the nation's elderly. Using data from 1474 people in the 2007 panel study of National Security for the Retired, the present work attempts to look at satisfaction rates with regard to public pension receipts for the national pension and special occupational pensions according to general characteristics and factors related to the preparation for an aging society. Satisfaction with retirement pension receipts according to the type of pension was high for special occupation retirement pensions, individual retirement pensions and the national retirement pension, in that order. Looking at satisfaction rates based on the general characteristics of pension recipients, the study revealed that for the national pension, satisfaction was highest for groups with above-average physical and psychological health, groups who think appropriate living expenses for the elderly are lower, groups in which a partner also earns income, and groups who had amply prepared for their expected living expenses in later life. Regarding special occupation retirement pensions, satisfaction was high for groups over the age of 70, groups with good psychological health, and groups sufficiently prepared for their living expenses in later expenses, compared to groups for which these factors did not apply. In terms of the relative influences impacting retirement pension recipient satisfaction, satisfaction with the national pension was highest when the primary source to cover elderly living expenses was a resource other than income earned by the recipient and their partner and/or income received from children. Concerning special occupation retirement pensions, satisfaction was highest among those whose education terminated before middle school, and for those in good physical health. Based on the above results, it is vital that plans exist for preparing sufficiently for the living expenses of the elderly and for facilitating the physical and psychological health of pension recipients. Plans are also necessary to, ensure that citizens are provided with easily accessible educational programs and activities regarding general installment savings and deposits, stocks and bonds, real estate investments, individual retirement pensions, private insurance, severance pay pensions, and public pensions.

The research method was based on the data related to the after school education program and the music-related contents of the current elementary school curriculum. And a smart music education program was developed by applying the contents of elementary school music curriculum to practical music using smart devices. The study result suggests three programs with 16 times. Through this program, we can expect diverse, systematic and continuous music education rather than one-sided or one-off music education which are provided by the existing public education courses. Through the field experience, students will be able to directly experience arts and cultures as well as to awaken their potential artistry and creativity. In addition, it is expected that it will help to reduce the economic burden by reducing the burden of private education expenses through the after school program and to realize the qualitative growth of music education in schools.

  • This study estimated the impact of the shock of housing price increase on the total fertility rate and the contribution of each variable to changes in the TFR. This study is differentiated by estimating the contribution rate of each variable to the fertility rate through the Shapley decomposition and the panel VAR's forecast error variance decomposition, which previous studies have not attempted. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the decline in the TFR in Korea has been strongly influenced by the recent decline in the total fertility rate, and this influence is expected to continue in the future. In the case of housing costs, in the past, housing sales prices had a relatively small contribution to changes in the total fertility rate compared to the jeonse prices, but their influence is expected to increase in the long term in the future. It has been demonstrated that private education expenses other than housing sale price and Jeonse price also acted as a major cause of the decline in the total fertility rate.

The subjects of this study were 250 college students who completed or attended the vocational education and training course in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and collected 230 data, excluding inappropriate responses. Data analysis was performed by using the statistical package program SPSS Statistics (Ver. 24: IBM, USA). In this study, frequency analysis was conducted to examine the characteristics of data, and crossover analysis was conducted mainly to investigate the correlation between categorical data. The results of this study are as follows: First, it provides information about vocational education and training course to all general high school students at the beginning of the first year of high school, and then, from the first semester of the second grade, do. Second, it is to open four major courses in beauty education at the same time. This makes it possible to acquire qualifications according to four beauty courses during the training period at the training institute rather than the private education institute where private education expenses are incurred. By training all major courses in skin, hair, make-up, and nail art, you will be given the opportunity to carefully determine the major course that fits your aptitude. Based on the results of this research, we propose a plan to improve the vocational education system for vocational high school students who are majoring in cosmetology.

  • This study is to examine the perceptions and attitudes of parents about the teachers' recommendation system through their observations to identify the gifted. We conducted surveys for parents who had elementary school children in Busan metropolitan city and analysed the results to find out about the differences among parents groups in terms of their monthly incomes and opinions on teachers' observation and nomination for the gifted. The results are following; First, approx. 80% of the respondents recognized the changes in the giftedness identification system. Also, 40.5% of the parents positively thought about the teachers' observation and nomination system (positive group), whereas 32.3% of the parents showed their negative opinions about the system (negative group). There were also 27.2% of the parents who did not make their decisions (no-decision-making group). Second, most of the parents accepted that the teachers who were professionally trained in gifted education should be the persons for observing and nominating gifted students. However, significant differences were shown among the different monthly income groups of the parents in regards to who should be the person taking charge of recommending the gifted and how trustworthy this person could be. Third, the positive parents' group mostly expected that as the teachers' observation and nomination system is adopted, expenses for private education would decrease, whereas the negative group and no-decision-making group thought that the opposite result would occur. These results will be helpful for the successful adoption of teachers' observation and recommendation system to identify the gifted in the field of education.
