3D 프린팅 기술의 조직공학 및 재생의학 분야 응용 (3D Printing Technology and Its Application on Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine)

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 미래 신산업 혁명을 주도할 유망기술로 각광 받고 있는 3D 프린팅 기술과 이를 이용한 조직공학 및 재생의학 분야의 응용 기술을 살펴보았다. 한국기계연구원에서는 3D 프린팅 기술을 바탕으로 독자적인 3D 바이오프린팅 장비를 설계 및 제작하였으며, 개발된 3D 바이오프린팅 장비를 이용하여 다양한 분야에 적용이 가능한 3D 형상의 조직공학용 스캐폴드를 제작하였다. 또한 세포와 생체재료를 3D로 직접 프린팅 할 수 있는 세포 프린팅 기술을 개발하였으며, 이는 인공장기 개발분야의 원천 기술로 조직공학 및 재생의학 분야에 3D 프린팅 기술이 활용될 수 있는 기반을 확립하였다.

국내산 구강스캐너(eZIS)를 사용한 3D프린트 모형의 정확도 검증 실험 (Accuracy Verification of 3D printing model by Using Domestic Oral Scanner(eZIS))

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was establishing process of manufacturing dental prosthesis by using eZIS system(DDS Inc.,Korea). Methods: To evaluate accuracy verification, the test was practiced two ways. First, Comparison of 3D printing models and stone models was practiced by using 3D superimposing software. #36 prepared master model was scanned by eZIS system and three 'Veltz3D' 3D printing models and three 'Bio3D' 3D printing models were manufactured. three stone models were manufactured by conventional impression technique. Second, Fitness test was practiced. the 3D printing models and the stone models was compared by manufacturing same resin crown. #36 prepared master model was scanned 9 times and manufactured (milled) 9 resin crowns by eZIS system. These crowns were cemented three 'Veltz3D' 3D printing models, three 'Bio3D' 3D printing models and three stone models. These crowns were sliced mesiodistal axis and gaps were measured by digital microscope. Results: The average accuracy of Bio3D models were 65.75%. Veltz3D(Hebsiba) models were 60.11% Stone models were 41.00%. Conclusion : This study results showed 3D printing model is similar with stone model. So it was under clinical allow, didn't affect final dental prothesis. There were no significant differences in the appearance of the three types of milling crowns.

초정밀 미세 패턴을 위한 전기 수력학 잉크젯 프린팅 시스템 (Electrohydrodynamic Inkjet Printing System for Ultrafine Patterning)

  • 잉크젯 기술은 가정용 프린터에서부터 제조 도구로 확대 되었다. 최근 인쇄전자 분야에서 고해상도 인쇄가 요구되고 있다. 기존의 잉크젯 인쇄 패터닝 방식을 향상 시키기 위해 전기수력학잉크젯 기술이 최근 주목을 받고 있는데 노즐 직경보다 작은 방울을 토출할 수 있고 넓은 점도 범위와 재료를 사용할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 미세 패터닝을 위한 EHD 프린팅 시스템이다. 요구 적출형 프린팅에 의해 다양한 패턴을 인쇄하고 벡터와 레스터 프린팅 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 내경이 $8{\mu}m$ 인 노즐을 이용하여 $7{\mu}m$ 이하의 미세 전도성 선폭을 EHD 방식을 통해 만들 수 있다.

3차원 레이저 스캐너를 이용한 인쇄롤 가공에 관한 연구 (Study on Printing Roll Manufacturing by using 3 Dimensional Laser Scanner)

  • The research for the development of roll-to-roll printing process is actively underway on behalf of the existing semiconductor process. The roll-to-roll printing system can make the electronic devices to low-cost mass production. This study is performed for developing the manufacturing technology of the printing roll used in the printing process of electronic devices. The indirect laser engraving technology is used to create printable roll and the printable roll is made out of the chrome coated roll after coating copper and polymer on the surface of steel roll, ablating the polymer on the surface of roll and etching the roll. The 3 dimensional laser scanner and roll rotating systems are constructed and the system control program is developed. We have used the fiber laser of 100 W grade, the 3 dimensional laser scanner and the 3 axes moving stage system with a rotating axis. We have found the optimal conditions by performing the laser patterning experiments and can make the minimum line width of $24{\mu}m$ by using the developed 3 dimensional laser scanner system.

Cross-section Morphology and Surface Roughness of an Article Manufactured by Material Extrusion-type 3D Printing according to the Thermal Conductivity of the Material

  • Material extrusion (ME)-type 3D printing is the most popular among the 3D printing processes. In this study, the cross-section morphologies of ME-type 3D printing manufactured specimens were observed with respect to the thermal properties of the material. The cross-section morphology of a specimen is related to the deposition strength, and the outside profile of the cross-section is related to the surface roughness. The filaments used in this study, with different thermal conductivities, were the acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), the high impact polystyrene (HIPS), the glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate (PETG), and the polylactic acid (PLA). The cross-sections and the surfaces of the 3D manufactured specimens were examined. In ME-type 3D printing, the filaments are extruded through a nozzle and they form a layer. These layers rapidly solidify and as a result, they become a product. The thermal conductivity of the material influences the cooling and solidification of the layers, and subsequently the cross-section morphology and the surface roughness.

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 분야에 적용할 수 있는 자동화 동시 인상 시스템을 3D 콘크리트 프린팅에 적용하여 동시 인상이 가능한 3D 콘크리트 프린팅 시스템으로 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 3D 콘크리트 프린팅 작업 중 측정되는 인상량을 피어슨 상관계수를 통해 분석하고, 유압시스템을 사분위수 기법으로 실시간 모니터링하여 안전하고 정밀한 인상이 가능하다. 이를 활용하면 3D 콘크리트 프린팅 구조물의 출력 품질을 확보함과 동시에 3D 콘크리트 프린팅의 규모보다 큰 구조물을 출력할 수 있다. 시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위해 기존의 3D 콘크리트 프린팅과 동시 인상이 가능한 3D 콘크리트 프린팅을 각각 이용하여 시편을 출력하였다. 출력된 시편은 3D 스캐너를 활용하여 측정하였다. 스캔한 시편의 층별 직경과 시편의 교차각을 측정하였으며, 분석을 통해 동시 인상이 가능한 3D 콘크리트 프린팅의 성능을 검증하였다.

영상처리를 이용한 레지스터 컨트롤러 인쇄기법 연구 (A Study for Register Controller Printing Method using Image Process)

  • Scanning head has used to detect the error signal in register controller. However the resolution of the system is not enough for E-printing(Electronic-paper printing). In this paper, the register mark shapes and process techniques are studied using a smart camera which can detect the register mark and calculate the printing error. With these, a register controller within 10[um] of error range is developed for e-printing system and confirmed with experiments.

인쇄전자를 위한 롤투롤 시스템의 필름 정밀제어에 관한 연구 (Precision Film Control of Roll to Roll System for RFID Printing)

  • RFID printing technology has emerged recently as an important tool for leading future IT. Therefore, many manufacturers concerning on low cost and mass production of the related products pay close attention to the printing technology. In order to realize printed electronics, the technologies for fine line-width/gap printing and registration are essential work. This study proposes a precise Roll to Roll control system that is capable of tilting two posts. Two controllable tilting posts can adjust film position at traverse direction for the precision registration. A mathematical model for representing the geometric features of each posts in Roll to Roll printing system is established first. Then an operating program is built to implement the system and to control film movement. For experimental test, a hard ware system is fabricated which is consisted of two AC servo motors, two posts tilting mechanisms, several guide rolls, and so on. The test results show the proposed system can control the film position precisely at transverse direction.

  • 3D printing technology is recognized as a core technology that will lead the next generation, and is a field that can have a large ripple effect if it innovates the existing construction production method. Therefore, this study deals with the development of a 3d printing system using an articulated robot for construction purposes. In this system, ABB robot was used to control the developed cement gun accurately. The system is composed of mixer to mix cementitious materials, pump to transfer the materials, abb robot to motion control and cement gun to extrude the materials to print required construction parts. Using the system developed in this study, a suitable mix ratio of cementitious materials was found and successively printed a 1m high structure that demonstrated possibility of printing structures using 3d printer. In the future, we plan to build a foundation for automated construction through research on construction methods and materials that can be continuously layered for the system.

Flexo 인쇄폐수의 처리 및 재활용에 관한 연구 (A study on the flexo printing wastewater treatment and recycling)

  • 인쇄 및 출판 산업의 발전으로 인쇄공정에서는 다량의 유독성 폐기물 및 폐수등이 발생한다. 인쇄공정에서 필수적으로 사용되는 각종 환경오염물질에 대한 규제가 강화되고 있기에 환경친화형 청정기술 개발이 필요하며 또한 인쇄업계의 적극적인 환경대응책이 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인쇄폐수에 대한 정밀여과, 한외여과, 역삼투 등의 막분리 시스템의 효용성을 검토하고 공정을 개선할 수 있는 기본 자료를 도출하여 처리수의 재이용 방안을 모색하고 공정의 최적화를 도모하고자 하였다. 그 결과 U/F System의 운전압력은 $2kg/cm^2$이 적당하였으며, U/F처리수는 탁도 3NTU 이하로서 인쇄공정 현장에서 기계세척수로 사용가능할 것으로 판단되었다.
