  • Although various research is being carried out to prevent the construction accidents, the number of victims of construction site is increasing continuously. Therefore, the purpose of this study is construction accidents prediction applying the boosting algorithm to the construction domains. Boosting algorithm was applied to construct construction accident prediction model and application of the model was examined using actual accident cases. It is possible to support safety manager to manage and prevent accidents in priority using the model.

  • Sulfate anion which cause concrete degradation is affected on marine structures. There are two of control method concrete degradation which is arisen by sulfate anion. Cementitious materials prevent permeation of sulfate anion and water-binder ratio increase to improve watertightness. But, those methods are passive. So, this study is developing new materials which prevent actively concrete degradation on sulfate anion.

  • Guided bone regeneration (GBR) is a surgical procedure that utilizes bone grafts with barrier membranes to reconstruct small defects around dental implants. This procedure is commonly deployed on dehiscence or fenestration defects ≥2 mm, and mixing with autogenous bone is recommended on larger defects. Tension-free primary closure is a critical factor to prevent wound dehiscence, which is critical cause of GBR failure. A barrier membrane should be rigidly fixed without mobility. If the barrier is exposed, closed monitoring should be utilized to prevent secondary infection.

  • The purpose of swing analysis for prefabricated jumper devices are to prevent flashover between jumper device and tower post. To prevent flashover. proper weight is add to the horizontal rod. This paper is a proposed to the analysis methods and the effects for unbalanced swing characteristics of prefabricated jumper devices. And the proposed technique is applied with the 345kV and 765kV transmission lines.

  • The preventive structure of field lead connector's V-notch on synchronous generator has been developed. The preventive structure of field lead, installed in the generator, prevent from V notch of field lead connector in rotor on daily start and stop (on-line). This development of study was performed at the Seoinchon combined cycle power plant on gas turbine generator. This preventive structure of field lead will be prevent from V-notch of field lead on synchronous generator's field.

Though that design give a stress to the neighborhood, we can't prevent the design taking place. We must control architectural design, because it is important to public worth and urban aesthetic.   • Rack is a place to store products. Workers pick products from rack storage. After picking up, workers move to another location by forklift. Driving speed, worker condition, and number/frequency of operation is responsible for forklift accidents. When an accident occurs, products get damaged. Therefore, it is important to prevent one. As the research result, To prevent forklift accidents, the minimum order quantity, the minimum number of operations, and low speed operation are required.
