라미네이터장비의 부품 치수공차가 가압력 균일도에 미치는 영향에 대한 실험적 분석 (Experimental Analysis for the Effect of Part's Dimensional Tolerance on the Pressing Pressure Uniformity of Laminator Equipment)

  • In this study, we tried to analyze and measure the correlation between the part dimensional tolerance empirically applied by the designer and the final performance of the equipment, which is expressed as the pressing pressure uniformity. For this purpose, the dimensional tolerances and pressing pressure uniformity of eight laminator equipments were measured actually. As a result of the correlation analysis, it was confirmed that the tolerance grade for each dimension determined by the designer was valid. In the case of laminator equipment, the driving parts and the flatness have the largest influence on the uniformity of the pressing pressure.

  • In order to improve the compactness and uniformity in ceramic green body, we have developed dynamic CIP(Cold Isostatic Pressing) as a new forming method in which the CIP and the vibratory pressing were combined. In dynamic CIP, bulk density on alumina compacts was linearly increased with higher │Pmax-Pbias│and maximum pressure of dynamic-CIP was decreased over one-third of that of conventional CIP to obtain the same bulk density.

  • High intensity metal halide discharge lamp performance, specifically the generated luminous flux and light color content, depends critically on the arc tube design. Factors influencing the design and consequent lamp efficacy include : lamp size, geometry, arc tube composition, fill chemistry, electrode design and excitation modes. Shaping of Polycrystalline Alumina(PCA) can be realized by conventional ceramic processes. Several processes are applied nowadays. Well-known in the ceramic high pressure field for decades are the pressing and the extrusion method. Newly developed slurry and precious forming technologies give the one-body seamless tubes, which improve thickness uniformity and lighting performance. Now, we reported some optical properties with different arc tube structures of ceramic metal halide lamps.

가압소결 $SiC/Si_3N_4$ 복합체의 마찰마모특성 (Tribological Properties of Hot Pressed $SiC/Si_3N_4$ Composites)

  • SiC-Si3N4 composites were prepared by mixing $\alpha$-Si3N4 powder to $\alpha$-SiC powder in the range of 10 to 30 vol% with 10vol% interval. 6wg% Al2O3 and 6wt% Y2O3 were respectively added as sintering aids. Hot pressing was performed at 1,80$0^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour with 25 MPa pressure. In the case of adding 20vol% of $\alpha$-Si3N4 powder the relative density to theoretical value and the flexural strength were 99.1% and 34,420 MPa respectively and the worn amount was 2.09$\times$10-3 mm2 which were the highest values in the all range of he composition. Although the composite containig 10 vol% of $\alpha$-Si3N4 powder showed the highest fracture toughness(KIC) of 4.65MN/m3/2 the reduction of the wear resistance in this composite is likely to be affected by the homogeneity and the uniformity of the grain coalescence and growth during the sintering process.

  • 스마트폰을 비롯한 고성능 모바일 전자기기의 발전에 따라서 경박단소한 전자부품의 요구가 커지고 있으며 이를 위해서 새로운 패키징 방법이 탄생하고 있다. 이러한 새로운 패키징 공정에서 웨이퍼 본딩 공정이 많이 요구되고 있다. 웨이퍼 본딩에서 많이 활용되는 방법이 열 압착 방법으로 가열된 헤드로 웨이퍼에 압력을 가하여 본딩하는 방법이다. 열 압착 방법에서 요구되는 공정조건은 온도 균일성과 Uniform Press이다. 온도 균일성은 마이크로 히터와 열 해석을 통한 설계로 비교적 쉽게 요구조건을 만족 시킬 수 있지만 Uniform Press를 가공과 조립으로만 요구조건을 만족시키기 위해서는 매우 높은 정밀도가 요구된다. 열 압착 방법은 고온에서 동작되므로 열 변형에 대한 기계적인 오차를 고려하여 설계, 가공, 조립이 진행되어야하므로 많은 어려움이 따른다. 본 연구에서는 Air 스프링과 Metal Form의 자가 보정장치를 이용하여 가공, 조립, 열 변형으로 발생하는 기계적 오차를 보상하여 성능과 신뢰성을 향상시켰다.

  • Anion exchange membrane electrolysis is considered a promising next-generation hydrogen production technology that can produce low-cost, clean hydrogen. However, anion exchange membrane electrolysis technology is in its early stages of development and requires intensive research on electrodes, which are a key component of the catalyst-system interface. In this study, we optimized the pressure conditions of the hot-pressing process to manufacture cobalt oxide electrodes for the development of a high uniformity and high adhesion electrode production process for the oxygen evolution reaction. As the pressure increased, the reduction of pores within the electrode and increased densification of catalytic particles led to the formation of a uniform electrode surface. The cobalt oxide electrode optimized for pressure conditions exhibited improved catalytic activity and durability. The optimized electrode was used as the anode in an AEMWE single cell, exhibiting a current density of 1.53 A cm-2 at a cell voltage of 1.85 V. In a durability test conducted for 100 h at a constant current density of 500 mA cm-2, it demonstrated excellent durability with a low degradation rate of 15.9 mV kh-1, maintaining 99% of its initial performance.
