고등학교 과학과 선수과목 이수에 대한 이공계열 대학생들의 인식 조사 (A Survey Research on Science and Engineering College Students' Perception on Completing Prerequisite Science Courses in High School)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학 이공계열 대학생들의 과학과 선수과목 이수에 대한 인식을 조사하고, 고등학교 과학 교과의 선택권을 실질적으로 보장하는 방안을 모색하려는 것이다. 이를 위해 516명의 이공계열 대학 재학생들을 대상으로 전공과 관련성 높은 고등학교 과학 과목에 대한 인식 및 관련 교과목 이수 실태, 학과 적응, 전공 공부에 미치는 영향 등에 관한 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 이공계 대학생들은 9개 전공 계열 중 5개 계열에서 물리를, 3개 계열에서 화학을 자신의 전공과 관련성이 높은 과학 영역으로 지목하였다. 고등학교에서 전공과 관련성이 높은 과학I, II 과목을 모두 이수한 집단이 학과 만족, 해당 과목 이수 여부가 전공 공부에 미치는 영향 등에서 가장 긍정적으로 응답하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 과학II 과목이 개설될 수 있는 여건 조성, IT와의 연계성 제고를 통한 과학 II과목의 경쟁력 향상, 고등학교 과학과 선수과목과 대학전공 공부의 연계성에 관한 보다 실증적인 연구의 필요성 등을 제안하였다.

식품의약품안전청 지정 HACCP 적용 위탁급식소의 HACCP system 조사 (HACCP Systems of Contract Foodservice Establishments Appointed by Korea Food and Drug Administration)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the HACCP systems of contract foodservice establishments by surveying HACCP plans and prerequisite programs from the twelve HACCP-implemented contract foodservice establishments appointed by KFDA. All the subjects (100%) appeared to develop HACCP plans with their own hazard analysis. Except the two giving no response, it turned out that two establishments had 2 CCPs (20%), four had 4∼5 CCPs (40%) and another four had 9 CCPs (40%). Especially, 'cleaning and sanitizing of raw vegetables and fruits (90%)' and 'cooking (temperature) (100%)' were monitored as CCPs by all the subjects. Only one subject (8.3%) answered that continuous monitoring was not conducted. But the verification, record keeping and internal audits were maintained by all the subjects (100%). Most of the surveyed foodservice establishments maintained various prerequisite programs enough to back up HACCP system.

공업계 고등학교 수학교과와 전문교과간의 연계성에 관하여 - 전자과를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Relationship between Mathematics and Major Subjects of Technical High School. - Focused on the Electronic subjects -)

  • Technical high school aims at educating students to acquire fundamental skill and technology required for being competent technicians, to be creative in adjusting themselves to the changing industrial society, and to do self-realization and find their ways toward the future on their own. To attain that goal and maximize learning effect, mathematics education is very important as prerequisite learning for technical subjects, as most technical courses in technical high school are basically based on mathematics. The purpose of this study was to discuss how mathematics education could be successfully linked to technical courses in an attempt to make it function properly as prerequisite learning for major subjects and facilitate students' technical learning. For that purpose, what problems the mathematics components of major subjects and the curriculum had was examined and the way to offer better education was presented. And there are some suggestions regarding mathematics education: First, technical mathematics should be newly inserted into technical high school curricula to help students learn major subjects in more efficient way. Second, most technical high schools are expected to just require tenth graders to complete a 10-stage mathematics course. In that case, they might find difficulties in learning major subjects when they are in their 11st and 12th grade. The curriculum should be designed to have 11st and 12th graders take mathematics education. Third, many students find a job after graduation, but the growing number of students go on to university to receive more education in the same field. Accordingly, there is a need to enlarge continuous progress plan, rather than completion-type one, to make students well-grounded technically. And mathematics should be taught in more classes as prerequisite subject for major courses. Fourth, mathematics elements necessary for each major subject should be outlined and announced to schools so that they could reorganize mathematics and major courses appropriately.

의약품 임상시험의 계약적 일고찰 (A Contractual Study on the Clinical Trial of Medicine)

  • This thesis has studied about the legal characteristic of injection of the trial drug, the position of the pharmaceutical firm as a contractor of the clinical trial, the possibility of compulsory performance of consistent injection of the trial drug, and the damage claim caused in the process of the clinical trial from the viewpoint of protecting the trial subject in the clinical trial. According to court's judgement in the United States, the lawsuit of the trial subject, although the trial subject had expected consistent injections, was dismissed because there was no direct contract between pharmaceutical and trial subject. However, Helsinki Declaration prescribe the medical research as follows. 'All patients who participated in the research should be able to use the best precaution, diagnosis, and treatment proved by the final outcome of the research'. The trial subject is entitled to demand only the pharmaceutical firm which developed and provided the trial drug, and the pharmaceutical firm has the obligation to supply the trial drug to the trial subject. Therefore, it would be not enough to protect the trial subject if the pharmaceutical firm which makes the trial drug is ruled out. In addition, especially, in case the trial drug has a constant effect with the aim of treatment, if the injection of the trial drug is suddenly stopped, the trial subject would not have the benefit of treatment by the trial drug. In this case, the best remedy against the damage is to urge a constant injection of the trial drug. Thus, in certain case, it is reasonable to consider that the pharmaceutical firm has the obligation to supply the trial drug to the trial subject constantly, and it is also necessary to compel it through effective means in case the pharmaceutical firm do not fulfill its obligation to supply the trial drug. However, as an essential prerequisite for the assertion mentioned above, it should be judged under the principle of good faith considering the concrete situation, that is, what roles the pharmaceutical firm has played.

토목공학을 위한 표준 이수체계도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Standard Flow Chart for Civil Engineering)

  • This study present the standard flow chart for civil engineering considering Korean education environment. The flow charts of USA's 20 universities and Korea's 6 universities are investigated. The standard flow chart are proposed based on the standard curriculum of civil engineering and flow charts of USA and Korea though analyzing of prerequisite of each subject. The proposed standard flow chart is expected when used to improve korean universities curriculum.

A Study of Verb-Second Phenomena in Medieval Spanish Complex Sentences

  • This study aims at investigating the 'verb-second' phenomena indicated in complex sentences of medieval Spanish. Especially, when the complex sentence is composed of a preposed adverbial clause and its succeeding main clause, the subject inversion is noticeable in the latter. The fundamental motive of this type of inversion is due to the 'verb-second' structure, in which a topic appears in the first position and the verb immediately after the topic. So it can be said that the subject inversion is a prerequisite for a verb to be located in the second position when the adverbial clause functions as a topic to the main clause, as is often the case with Germanic languages like German, Dutch, etc.. On the contrary, modern Spanish complex sentences do not show this phenomenon, with a strong tendency to locate a grammatical subject in the preverbal position. Therefore, medieval Spanish might be typologically closer to Germanic languages than to modern Spanish. In order to argue for this assumption, the formal and functional criteria by which the preposed adverbial clause could be defined as a topic NP will be examined across the comparition with left-dislocation structure.

  • This study is aimed to evaluate the shear strength of reinforced concrete deep beams subject to concentrated loads, using a simplified strut-tie model. For the shear strength prediction of deep beams, it is prerequisite to evaluate the effective width of strut and to verify the efficiency factors proposed by MacGregor et al.. The results analyzed by truss models have been compared with those calculated by domestic code for the existing data of 90 deep beam specimens. The shear strength of deep beams were reviewed with respect to concrete strength, the shear span-depth ratio, and the ratio of web reinforcements. The results showed that the shear strength of the proposed model gave a better agreement than the domestic code approach.

  • The railway industry of each country has variant technical standards and regulations unlike other industries. For this reason, it is necessary to investigate the domestic technical standards and regulations and to prepare the countermeasure of the variance for advancing the korean high-speed railroad system into foreign market. This study was designed to investigate the railway design/manufacturing, examination/inspection and safety of domestic and foreign countries subject to a world market for advancing the korean high-speed railroad system into a foreign market. Because the reliance of a railroad system is a prerequisite for the safety of railroads, it is very important to obtain the reliance data, which is based on the RMS analysis of foreign countries subject to a world market.

전문도서관의 주제목록형태에 관한 일연구 (A Study on Classified Catalogs of Research or Special Libraries in Korea)

  • This study attempted at first to find out a more suitable form of catalog to guide library users who need subject approach through a literature survey, secondly to see how and which catalog form is kept by Korean research or special libraries through an analysing questionnaires, and thirdly to evaluate these data and explore the ways to improve the function of classified catalog in Korean research or special libraries. The findings of this study shows that a classified catalog is more desirable form of catalog in research or special libraries in Korea because of the diversity of languages of the literatures needed by researchers, the educational programs for librarians and the problems of subject heading lists. Above mentioned questionnaire survey shows that more than $70\%$ of research or special libraries in Korea uses classified catalogs. However, among those libraries - only $8\%$ has the index of cassified catalog which is prerequisite for the catalog users. This survey also indicates that recently many libraries began or converted classified catalogs to subject catalogs. The writer explains the beginnings or convertings of classified catalog to subject catalog is due to the fact that many libraries do not have the index of a classified catalog which is badly needed by the library users. Based on these findings, writer said that to improve the function of the present classified catalog, it should include it's index to guide the library users who are not familier with the classifing system of the subjects. Through the entire paper, the writer has attempted to develop a point of argument by comparing a classified catalog with a subject catalog. Writer's point is not only a subject catalog using the particular language terms as a communication tool has problems in itself, but also the prevailing of this catalog form in North America is caused by their different situations from ours.

문제 중심 학습(PBL)에 기반한 수업 지도 내용 탐색 -대학에서의 수학교육 관련 이론을 대상으로- (Investigation on the Instructional Content based on Problem Based Learning by the Subject of the theories of Mathematics Education in College)

  • Problem Based learning(PBL) is a teaching and learning method to increase mathematical ability and help achieving mathematical concepts and principles through problem solving using the learner's mathematical prerequisite knowledge. In addition, the recent instructional situations or environments have focused on the learner's self construction of his learning and its process. In spite of such a quite attention, it is not easy to apply and execute PBL program actually in class. Especially, there are some difficulties in actually applying and practicing PBL in the areas of mathematics education in not only secondary school but also in college. Its reason is that in order to conduct PBL instruction constantly in real or experimental class there is no more concrete and detailed instructional content during the consistent and long period. However, to whom is related to mathematics education including instructors called scaffolders, investigation and recognition on the degree of the learner's acquisition of mathematical thinking skills and strategies is an very important work. By the reason, in this study, the instructional content was to be explored and developed to be conducted during 15 weeks in one semester, which was based on Problem Based Learning environment by the subject of the theories relevant to mathematics education in the college of education.
