초등학교 과학영재학생과 수학영재학생의 과학에 대한 태도 및 과학학습동기 차이 (The Comparison of the Science Gifted and Mathematics Gifted in Attitude Toward Science and Learning Motivations in Science of Elementary School Students)

  • 본 연구는 서울 지역 초등학교 과학영재학생과 수학영재학생 171명을 대상으로 과학에 대한 태도 검사지와 과학학습동기 검사지를 이용해 과학에 대한 태도와 과학학습동기를 조사, 비교해 보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 과학영재학생과 수학영재학생의 과학에 대한 태도는 과학에 대한 가치관, 과학의 사회적 의미, 과학 교과에 대한 태도 영역에서 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았으며, 과학영재학생과 수학영재학생 모두 과학에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 가지고 있었다. 하지만 과학교과에 대한 태도 영역 중 과학교과에 대한 선호를 나타내는 문항에서만 과학영재학생과 수학영재학생에게 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 과학영재학생의 과학교과에 대한 선호도가 수학영재학생의 과학교과에 대한 선호도 보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학교 과학영재학생과 수학영재학생의 과학학습동기는 주의력, 자신감, 만족감 영역에서는 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았으며, 과학영재학생과 수학영재학생 모두 높은 동기 수준을 나타내었다. 하지만 과학학습동기 영역 중 관련성 영역에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈으며, 이는 초등 과학영재학생들이 수학영재학생들보다 과학학습을 실제 삶과 더 관련지어 인식하고 있음을 나타낸다.

  • 해운경기 침체를 극복하지 못한 기업경영의 실패는 해운산업과 관련된 전후방산업 전반에 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 선사, 화주, 항만 관련 기관들을 대상으로 전문가 조사를 실시하여, 선사 및 화주 상생을 위한 정부의 정책지원 방안을 도출하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. CFPR(Consistent Fuzzy Preference Relation)을 연구방법으로 사용하여 정부정책 우선순위를 제시한다. 연구결과 전체 14개 정책 가운데 "화주의 선사 또는 선박 지분 참여 확대 (0.102)"가 가장 높은 순위를 보였고, 다음으로 "국내 화주 중심의 서비스 품질 강화(0.101)", "컨테이너 화물 장기 운송계약 모델 마련(0.085)"등을 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 선주 및 화주 상생을 통한 한국해운의 회생을 위해서는 올바른 정부정책수립 및 우선순위 선정을 통한 정책집행이 중요한데, 본 연구를 통하여 정책과 우선순위를 제시한 점에 기여도가 있다. 향후 연구에서는 해운산업 이해 집단 간 인식차이를 비교한 구체적인 분석이 필요하다.

  • Optimal conditions for processing. of seasoned-dried Pacific saury treated with liquid smoke (T2) were evaluated by physicochemical and microbial experiments and sensory evaluation, comparing with control (seasoning only, C) and treatment I $(0.05\%\;Rosemary\;instead\;of\;liquid\;smoke,\;Tl)$. Two hrs of seasoning time was set, and 23 hrs of drying time was determined in all samples. Finally, T2 product was made by soaking treatments (three times of 1 sec, 8 sec and 1 sec) in $5\%$ (v/v) liquid smoke (Scansmoke PB 2110) after 30 min, 4 hrs and 22 hrs of hot-air drying, respectively. The histamine contents in 3 seasoned-dried products were in a 15.33-26.99 mg/l00g range. The water activities of 3 seasoned-dried products were 0.719-0.735 range, and the pH of T2 was lower than the others. In the comparison of POV and TBA values among products, the TBA values and POV of Tl and T2 were significantly low compared to C, and also the viable cell counts of T2 was relatively lower than those of the others. In the color values, significant changes were not found among products, and in the sensory evaluation for odor, taste and overall acceptance, T2 had relatively higher preference on the whole items.

Comparison of Resistance Level to Cotton leaf curl virus(CLCuV) Among Newly Developed Cotton Mutants and Commercial Cultivars

  • Four newly developed cotton mutants (M-111, M-7662, M-358 and M-218) were compared for their resistance against Cotton leaf curl virus(CLCuV) together with commercial resistant (CIM-443, CIM-482, CIM-473, FH-900 and FH-901) and susceptible (5-12) varieties by artificial inoculation through grafting and under natural field conditions. Infectivity and success of grafting were 100% in all cases. None of the grafted plants were found immune or asymptomatic. All the grafted mutants and most of their single plant progeny rows (SPPRs) showed highly resistant responses as the symptoms displayed by these mutants were milder than the commercial cultivars. Grafted mutants also had delayed disease reactions as they took more time (25-30 days) to produce disease symptoms, as compared with resistant commercial varieties that produced disease 18-22 days after inoculation. Growth of the grafted SPPRs of tested mutants was normal, which is an indication that there will be no production losses. Observations under natural infestation of whitefly showed that two SPPRs of M-ll/CE and M-7662-1/2 and one resistant variety CIM-443 exhibited slight incidence of disease, while one SPPR of M-l1/59 and S-12 were moderately susceptible and highly susceptible with 21% and 97.l% disease incidence, respectively. This study also showed that plants displaying more disease symptoms through grafting were easily infected under natural conditions. These results suggest that preference should be given to those plants that exhibited highly resistant responses after artificial inoculation.

대학생의 성별에 따른 니트웨어 선호도 및 구매행동 비교 (Comparison of Knitwear Preferences and Purchase Behavior of University Students by Sex)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare knitwear design preferences and purchase behaviors of university students by sex. The subjects were 493 university students in Daejeon and Gongju provinces. The research method was a survey and measurement instruments were 16 stimuli which were manipulated of knitwear shape and self-administrated questionnaire (knitwear design preference items, knitwear favorite image items, purchase behavior items and subject' demographic attributions). Data were analyzed by factor analysis, frequency analysis, t-test, Cronbach' ${\alpha}$ using SPSS program. The results of the study were as follows. First, as for pullover designs according to pullover shape factors, male preferred classic design with normal round neck, set-in sleeves and normal length, whereas female preferred various designs with normal round, normal V or deep V neck, set-in sleeves and normal or long length. Second, there was significant difference by sex in knitwear patterns and materials. Male preferred geometric patterns and 100% cotton, whereas female preferred natural patterns and blended cotton. Third, 4 factors were emerged on knitwear favorite images(casual image, modem classic image, active image and characteristic image). Especially, there was significant difference by sex in active image. Male preferred active image, whereas female did not. Fourth, as for knitwear purchases, male considered fitting as important purchase criteria, whereas female considered design or style. Male used department stores for purchasing, whereas female used Bosejeom for independent fashion. Male preferred high quality knitwear to female.

복숭아 꽃과 가지 첨가 유무에 따른 도화주의 품질 특성 비교 (Comparison of Quality Characteristics of Dohwaju Fermented with or without Peach Flowers and Branches)

  • We investigated the quality characteristics of dohwaju (fermented with peach flowers and branches, a Korean traditional alcoholic beverage) containing different sub-ingredients. During fermentation, the inner temperatures of the added sub-ingredient treatments were higher compared to non-treatment, and only peach branches treatment. showed the highest inner temperature. There were no significant differences in the physicochemical results among the treatments. pH decreased from the first mashing day to the second and then increased slightly until fermentation was terminated. Total acidities showed opposite patterns as compared to pH level. Amino acid contents, soluble solids, and alcohol contents increased steadily until the end of fermentation, whereas reducing sugar contents showed the opposite trend. In a preference survey, DB (only peach branches)-treated dowhaju showed the highest evaluation in terms of taste and overall acceptability with walues of $5.07{\pm}1.38$ and $5.57{\pm}1.16$, respectively. Based on the results of this study, we concluded that only peach branches treatment is optimal for the manufacture of dowhaju. We expect that the quality of dowhaju can be improved by providing basic information concerning its manufacture.

Comparison of Beef Palatability Characteristics between Longissimus Thoracis and Vastus Lateralis Muscles from Different Grades during Postmortem Aging

  • The objectives of this study was to compare palatability changes of the longissimus thoracis (LT) and vastus lateralis (VL) muscles of Hanwoo steers from different beef quality grades (1+ and 1) during 28 d of wet-aging in order to improve the utilization of the VL muscle as a steak. The VL muscle showed a higher collagen content and a lower intramuscular fat content than the LT muscle (p<0.05). As expected, the Warner-Bratzler shear force value was greater in the LT 1 grade (LT-1) muscle than the LT-1+ muscle (p<0.05); whereas no difference was observed between the grades in the VL muscle at 24 h postmortem. Compared to 0 d of aging, tenderness scores significantly increased after 14 and 21 d of aging in the LT and VL muscles, respectively (p<0.05). Additionally, there was no difference in tenderness score between the VL-1+ aged for 21 d and the LT-1 at 24 h postmortem, although tenderness score was greater in the LT than the VL at each period (p<0.05). Moreover, the VL-1+ steak exhibited a higher tenderness score than the VL-1 steak at 21 and 28 d of aging (p<0.05). On the other hand, the effect of aging time on juiciness and flavor in the VL muscle was somewhat limited unlike the LT muscle. Taken together, the VL muscle requires a longer aging time than the LT muscle to improve consumer preference. Considering the tenderness, using a higher quality grade for aging is more useful in the VL muscle.

강정에 관한 연구(I) -인삼이 강정의 지방산화와 기호도에 미치는 영향 (Studies of Gangjung(I) -Effect of dried Insam on the Lipid Oxidation and Sensory Evaluation of Gangjung-)

  • 강정에 인삼분말을 수준별로, 첨가하여 6개월 동안 저장하면서 인삼강정의 저장안전시기와 기호도에 미치는 영향을 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 인삼분말이 강정의 지방산화에 미치는 영향은 0%<0.5%<1.0%<1.5%<2.0%<2.5% 순으로 첨가량이 증가할수록 항산화효과는 증가하였으나, 첨가량의 증가에 따른 항산화 효과의 증가폭은 둔화되는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 산가와 과산화물가는 3개월 이내는 완만하게 증가하였으나, 3개월 이후부터서는 다소 급격한 증가를 보였다. 3. 인삼강정의 산가와 과산화물가는 저장기간이 길어짐에 따라 점차 증가하였으나 첨가 방법이 강정의 항산화효과에는 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 4. 인삼분말의 첨가량이 증가할수록 향강도는 점진적으로 증가하였으나, 기호도에서는 물엿에 인삼분말을 1.5% 첨가할 때 가장 높은 점수를 얻었다.

Comparison and Correlation Analysis of Different Swine Breeds Meat Quality

  • This study was performed to determine the influence of pig breed and gender on the ultimate pH and physicochemical properties of pork. The correlations between pH and pork quality traits directly related to carcass grade, and consumer's preference were also evaluated. The pH and meat grading scores for cold carcasses of 215 purebred pigs (Duroc, Landrace, and Yorkshire) from four different farms were obtained. Meat quality parameters of the pork loin were analyzed. Duroc and female animals were more affected compared to other breeds and male pigs. Duroc animals had the highest ultimate pH, carcass back fat thickness, marbling scores, yellowness, and fat content (p<0.05). Landrace pigs had the highest color lightness and cooking loss values (p<0.05). Among all trait parameters, marbling scores showed the highest significant differences when evaluating the impact of breed and gender on meat quality characteristics (p<0.001). Ultimate pH was positively correlated with carcass weight (0.20), back fat thickness (0.19), marbling score (0.17), and color score (0.16) while negatively correlated with cooking loss (-0.24) and shear force (-0.20). Therefore, pork samples with lower ultimate pH had lower cooking loss, higher lightness, and higher shear force values irrespective of breed.

상충관계이론과 자본조달순위이론에 기초한 병원 자본조달행태 분석 (Hospital's Financing Behaviors Based on Comparative Analysis of Trade-off Theory and Pecking Order Theory)

  • Based on a previous literature about hospital capital structure(Shyam- Sunder & Myers, 1999), this study attempted comparison and analysis on whether the forecast of trade-off and pecking order theory could be validated in hospital's capital structure. First, this study analyzed whether hospitals follow the priority for each capital source as suggested by pecking order theory under lack of capital running in hospital. Next, it analyzed whether debt level is regressed on the average to target debt level so as to verify the validity of trade-off theory. Finally, it also analyzed possible associations between debt level and determinants of capital structure as adopted in static trade-off theory, so as to verify relative advantages of these two theories about hospital capital structure. The analysis over whole period showed that both trade-off theory and pecking order theory isn't supported particularly. This mean that each hospital's financing behaviors is different and that has not dominant financing behaviors. In the midst of separation of dispensary from medical practice, medical institutions in Korea first finances funds required using retained earnings and then use liabilities. however pecking order theory is supported, the preference of long-term liabilities and short-term liabilities is not clear. In addition, considering that debt level is in no average regression to target debt ratio, it is found that hospital capital structure following trade-off theory turns into that subject to pecking order theory via the separation of dispensary from medical practice.
