  • The aim of the present work is to propose a model for Computer Aided programming of numerical Control lathe. This model is based on the concept by features. It has been developed in an Artificial Intelligence environment, that offers a rapidity as well as a precision for NC code elaboration. In this study a pre-processor has been elaborated to study the geometry of turning workpiece. This pre-processor is a hybrid system which combine a module of design by features and a module of features recognition for a piece provided from an other CAD software. Then, we have conceived a processor that is the heart of the CAD/CAM software. The main functions are to study the fixture of the workpiece, to choose automatically manufacturing cycles, to choose automatically cutting tools (the most relevant), to simulate tool path of manufacturing and calculate cutting conditions, end to elaborate a typical manufacturing process. Finally, the system generates the NC program from information delivered by the processor.

  • A computational system for wave and viscous flow analysis (WAVIS) has been developed. The system includes a pre-processor, flow solvers and a post-processor. The pre-processor is composed of full form presentation, surface mesh and field grid generation. The flow solvers are for potential and viscous flow calculation. The post-processor has graphic utility for result analysis. All the programs are integrated in a GUI-launcher package. To validate the developed CFD programs of WAVIS, the calculated results for modern commercial hull forms are compared with measurements. It is found that the results from WAVIS are in good agreement with the experimental data, illustrating the accuracy of the numerical methods employed for WAVIS.

  • Context-aware computing has been attracting the attention as an approach to alleviating the inconvenience in human-computer interactions. This paper proposes a context-aware system architecture to be implemented on an UoC (Ubiquitous system on Chip). A new proposed technology of CRS (Context Recognition Switch) and DOS (Dynamic and Optimal Standard) based on Context-awareness system architecture with pre-processor, HPSP(High Performance Signal Processor) in this paper. And proposed a new algorithm using in network topology processor shows for Ubiquitous Computing System. implementing in UoC (Ubiquitous System on Chip) base on the IEEE 802.15.4 WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network) standard. Also, This context-aware based UoC architecture has been developed to apply to mobile intelligent robots which would support human in a context-aware manner.

  • In this paper, we propose a bias random vector generator which can verify functions of microprocessor effectively. This generator is a pre-processor of assembly program, and defines pre-processor instructions which create random vector only in the pall which the designer wants to verify. Therefore, this generator shows higher detection ration than any other generators. And, we can cut down design costs because of shortening a Period for verifying function.

  • To extract hydrologic information more easily , the pre-processor for hydrologic model using Geographic Information System was developed . This model was applied to the Balan-reservoir watershed which is located at the southwest of Suwon. For estimation SCS curve number, landuse map and hydrologic soil group map were collected from digital map and reconnaissance soil map respectively. The estimated curve number from the GIS technique was 73.

  • In this paper, we propose a new adaptive pre-processing technique for the linearization of a weakly nonlinear system which can be modeled by a Volterra series up to third order. To compensate the nonlinear effects of a given system, an update algorithm for the linear filter coefficients of the proposed adaptive pre-processor is introduced, and to compensate the linear distortion of the given system, the linear inverse filter is also utilized. For the performance test of the proposed adaptive pre-processor, computer simulation results obtained by analyzing an ANRSS loudspeaker model are provided.

  • The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model, semi-distributed model, first divides the watershed into multiple subwatersheds, and then extracts the basic computation element, called the Hydrologic Response Unit (HRU). In the process of HRU generation, the spatial information of land use and soil maps within each subwatershed is lost. The SWAT model estimates the HRU topographic data based on the average slope of each subwatershed, and then use this topographic datum for all HRUs within the subwatershed. To improve the SWAT capabilities for various watershed scenarios, the Spatially Distributed-HRU (SD-HRU) pre-processor module was developed in this study to simulate site-specific topographic data. The SD-HRU was applied to the Hae-an watershed, where field slope lengths and slopes are measured for all agricultural fields. The analysis revealed that the SD-HRU pre-processor module needs to be applied in SWAT sediment simulation for accurate analysis of soil erosion and sediment behaviors. If the SD-HRU pre-processor module is not applied in SWAT runs, the other SWAT factors may be over or under estimated, resulting in errors in physical and empirical computation modules although the SWAT estimated flow and sediment values match the measured data reasonably well.

  • The proposed system was composed of pre-processor which was executing binary/high-pass filtering and post-processor which ranged from statistic data to prediction. In post-processor work, step one was filter process of image, step two was image recognition, and step three was destruction degree/time prediction. After these processing, we could predict image of the last destruction timestamp. This research was produced variation value according to growth of tree pattern. This result showed improved correction, when this research was applied image Processing. Pre-processing step of original image had good result binary work after high pas- filter execution. In the case of using partial discharge of the image, our research could predict the last destruction timestamp. By means of experimental data, this prediction system was acquired $\pm$3.2% error range.
