The purposes of this paper are the review and derivation of design characteristics for the new construction of the practical flexible manufacturing system. The basic ideas to analyze the manufacturing system which is the automatically operated are dependant on the various manufacturing procedures in factory. The practical flexible manufacturing systems have various mechanical subsystems appropriated fur the final manufacturing products. Therefore the systems have the various kinds of hardwares as well as softwares. We study the software for the practical flexible manufacturing system designed and developed in the Halla University with the related company. Specially the design concepts and using specifications of all subsystems which are composed of mechanical and electronic movements of the product are analyzed and introduced in this dissertation.

The latest UCP, Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, 2007 Revision, ICC Publication No.600 has been adopted by most banks in the world since July 1, 2007. This work intends to study some points for practical attention of UCP 600 in the field of examining documents and defining some words. Some points for practical attention of UCP 600 in the field of examining documents include the period for examining documents, the conflict with data in the documents, and the fulfilling the function of documents. Some points for practical attention of UCP 600 in the field of defining some words include the complying presentation, negotiation, and nominated banks. Furthermore, this work studies some points for practical attention of UCP 600 in relation to the nomination and the missing in the course of sending documents.

The purposes of this study are 1) to identify the position and the problems of Home Economics in Elementary School, and 2) to propose orientation for the future curriculum revision. Elementary Home Economics, historically, has been partially practiced as a part of Practical Arts Education. As a results, the nature of Home Economics Education has been distorted and lacked the disciplinary consistency with Middle School Home Economics Education： the curriculum of Home Economics Education ignored the importance of the understanding family life as well as underscored the technical skills. The identified status and problems has on implication for the subject’s further development. The propositions for Elementary Home Economics Education which has the original intention, are as follows：(1) the curriculum of Practical Arts Education must be built on theorectical base and criteria. (2) the name of subject, Practical Arts Education, must be changed to [Technology$.$Home Economics]. (3) the contents of the subject must be practical which to promote motivations and interest of students.

The purpose of this research is to get basic data for R&D to activate and popularize the Practical Korean Costume. This research was carried out by theoretical study with literature and practical study with development of model based on the result of questionnaire. 1. In theoretical study the concept of 'Korean-image' of modern costume as well as 'Modernization' of Korean traditional costume has been suggested and 'traditional beauty of costume' which can be evaluated generally was considered. 2. In practical study the results of the questionnaire showed the objective numerical value of the element of Korean design which is firmly recognized by korean people. With the results the methods of development and composition of design have been suggested in the harmony of 'traditional' and 'modern' through the modernization in terms of form composition fabric color. It is expected that development direction of Practical Korean Costume which can be settled in everyday life with more independent cultural identity should be suggested. Additionally the research results will be useful for merchandise planning of costume industry.

Purpose: The current education curriculum centering on the national examination can not train the human resources needed for the clinic. Therefore, we would like to develop a curriculum for practical education and cultivate talented people capable of working in clinical practice at the same time. Methods: This study investigates the importance and utilization of the subjects by using qualitative and quantitative mixed research methods through interviews with FGI and structured questionnaires for grades 2,3,4. Results: In order to carry out the related work, all the subjects need more practical training, and the curriculum that can learn the latest prostheses such as CAD / CAM, implant, 3D printer, Conclusion: In order to carry out the related tasks immediately after graduation, practical education through improvement of curriculum is needed.

In the study, for the practical approaches of job shop scheduling, we propose the new dispatching rules of job shop scheduling in order to complement the practical applications in the existing researches. The assumed situation for the practical approaches considers the following; relaxation of assumption for capacity constraint by machine flexibility, the addition of the common use of jig and fixture, unbalanced machine workloads and duedate tightness, and produces fast rescheduling that reflects unexpected situations. The performance of the new dispatching rules is compared and analyzed with the existing methods through the computer experiments in the assumed conditions. The results can be useful to improving a field application of the job shop scheduling.

This paper aims at designing an intelligent controller, based on control Lyapunov Function strategy integrated with fabricating discrete model of Buck and Boost converters and analyzing energy changes during the DC/DC progress to realize tracing reference current on Buck and Boost converters. In addition, practical stability phenomenon research and transient performance analysis has been proposed to give an insight to the influence of controller parameters in achieving an enhanced output performance and how the time of sample period affect the error of practical stability will be illustrated. The novelty of this controller in comparison to other schemes lies in the improved performance of practical stability.

Proto-type Korean High Speed Train(HSR 350x) had developed in 2002 through G7 High Speed Train R&D project from 1996, had carried successful trial running test up to 350km/h and has been executing running test more than 0.2 Mil. kilometers of accumulated running distance to insure reliability on service line till July 2008. Even though the R&D project has finished by Oct. 2007, the proto-type train HSR 350x has maintaining various measuring functions and test facilities till now. So it may be needed a suggestion on the direction of practical use in public purpose of the HSR 350x. This study has suggested several directions of practical use in public purpose of the HSR 350x, and feasibilities for each alternatives of practical use in order to contribute making reasonable decision for practical use of the train in public purpose for the future.

This study investigated the practical use of educational subjects and contents of materials in the fashion industry field and analyzed all data from respondents depending on business area and years of work in order to develop appropriate educational methods and courses. The survey was conducted with 151 questionnaires; 148 responses were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, factor analysis, and ANOVA. The factors of educational subjects for Clothing and Textiles were classified into three categories of product planning, manufacturing and basic information, and manufacturing-related subjects (including materials); subsequently, these showed a high practical use in the fashion business. There were significant differences in the practical use of educational subjects that depended on business areas and years of work for respondents. In the case of education of materials, the contents of fibers, knit fabrics and textile planning were used the most in various business areas; in addition, there were also significant differences in the practical use of knits, textile care, textile planning and trade, and textile retailing depending on business area.

The purpose of this study is the development and application of practical education program for the security of semiconductor equipments maintenance technology. For securing the semiconductor equipments maintenance technology, this study aims to research on the Training and Development. The main field of HRD is about the Training and Development. We develop the practical education program applying the ADDIE Model to conduct the education training. This developed program tests the education training on the officers of Samsung Electronics, the maker of semiconductor. By the test, we hope to provide the technology education program focusing on the practical experiences of systematic and effective companies.
