A Study on the Adhesion Control using the Estimated Adhesion for Improving Traction Performance (견인능력 향상을 위한 추정점착력을 이용한 점착제어기법에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is focused on the adhesion control method to improve traction efficiency using the estimated adhesion for railway propulsion system. Recently, the wheel slippery is frequently occurred due to light weight of train and power increasement of traction parts. This phenomenon occurs a traction loss and a poor ride comport. Therefore, the adhesion control which is able to prevent the slippery and to control the traction on a maximum adhesion is absolutely needed. This paper introduces typical methods for adhesion control and proposes two novel adhesion methods using the estimated adhesion.

Neural Network Models of Oxide Film Etch Process for Via Contact Formation (Via Contact 형성을 위한 산화막 식각공정의 신경망 모델)

  • In this paper, neutral networks are used to build models of oxide film etched In CHF$_3$/CF$_4$ with a magnetically enhanced reactive ion etcher(MERIE). A statistical 2$\^$4-1/ experimental design plus one center point was used to characterize relationships between process factors and etch responses. The factors that were varied include radio frequence(rf) power, pressure, CHF$_3$ and CF$_4$ flow rates. Resultant 9 experiments were used to train neural networks and trained networks were subsequently tested on its appropriateness using additionally conducted 8 experiments. A total of 17 experiments were thus conducted for this modeling. The etch responses modeled are dc bias voltage, etch rate and etch uniformity A qualitative, good agreement was obtained between predicted and observed behaviors.

Contact Loss Simulator to Analyze the Contact Loss of a Rigid Catenary System

  • In this paper, a contact loss simulator for a rigid catenary system was designed and used to analyze the effect on the power source according to the conditions of the rigid catenary system and pantograph. R-bar applied to a high-speed train among the real rigid catenary system was used in the contact loss simulator for rigid catenary systems. The excitation frequency generated with the movement of the railway vehicle was simulated. The characteristics according to the frequency and amplitude of the excitation frequency and the presence or absence of pantograph movement were analyzed. This work is considered to be helpful in analyzing the characteristics of contact loss in the interface between a real rigid catenary system and a rail vehicle.

  • Since recent inverters are formed IGBT VVVF inverter its switching speed has been increased relative to the conventional inverters and the motor design based on the switching surge voltage at the inverter output is very important factor. Therefore, motor and inverter should be designed to have the optimal characteristics by considering the mutually limited conditions. On this research the design technology characteristics for inverter driving traction moor is compared to the products in Korea and the analysis is performed. Thus, it is intend to re-estimate the technology level and introduce the products by HHI, which is driving on Seoul subway line 6 since December, 2000.

  • At present. distance relay and ${\Delta}I$ current increment relay are used as primary and secondary protection in the AC feeder system. However. electric railway vehicles according to power electronic's development had developed resistance control, thyristor phase control and PWM control system. and operation of train is increasing in a feeder section. Therefore this paper analyzes the load characteristics and situation of relay's maloperation caused by load current increase, harmonics, regenerative braking current and operation of the different vehicles in same feeder section. Based on this analysis. this paper proposes consideration items for relay correction and advanced adaptive relay that can change operation area according to load current.

  • Line constants of the catenary system are estimated. The harmonic current that the Korean Train Express (KTX) injects into the catenary is measured to precisely analyze the harmonic effects. The Korean high-speed railway system is modeled by estimated and measured results. The system model is applied for predicting the harmonic effects. The simulation results from the system model are compared to field test data concerning the total harmonic distortion (THD). The reliability of the system model is verified.

  • In this paper, the new control algorithm is proposed that compensates instantaneously the active and reactive components of the input currents by the synchronous d,q axis conversion of a single-phase current in controlling the single-phase AC/DC parallel converters for a high speed train. The leakage inductance of a transformer was used as a boost inductance and the ripple of a transformer's primary current was reduced considerably by the parallel operation of the two converters with a proper switching phase-shift. The stable and fast control response characteristic is certificated by a simulation.

  • 본 논문에서는 열차의 실제 노선 운행을 모의하여 구동 장치의 특성을 평가하고 에너지 절약에 대한 연구를 하였다. 이에 대하여 열차의 구동 에너지를 절약하기 위한 모터의 제어 방식과 제너레이터의 회생 에너지에 관한 연구를 선택하였다. 실제 대전 지하철의 노선 데이터를 이용하여 열차 주행 결과를 시뮬레이션 하였다. SVM (Space Vector Modulation) - DTC (Direct Torque Control)로 구현된 M-G Set으로 열차가 주행 시 모터에서 소비되는 에너지와 제동 시 제너레이터에서 발생되는 회생 에너지를 Simplorer 프로그램을 이용하여 시뮬레이션 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 열차의 소비 에너지와 회생 에너지를 연구한다.

  • 현재 국가물류 수송의 경쟁력 향상과 증가되는 교통수요에 부응하기 위해 경부 고속철도의 건설 등 철도의 고속화와 수송량 증대에 많은 관심과 투자가 이루어지고 있지만, 점점 상승하는 유가 에너지 비용에 대한 문제가 발생하고 있어 전기 철도차량의 개발이 시급하다. 본 논문은 Simplorer 프로그램을 이용하여 열차 추진 장치에 관한 연구와 추후 열차 회생 에너지에 관한 연구를 하기 위해 추진 장치를 M-G set으로 구성 하였고 모터는 SVM(Space Vector PWM)방식으로, 제너레이터는 DTC(Direct Torque Control) 방식으로 제어하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 ISM(Industrial Scientific Medical) 대역 424MHz부터 429MHz까지의 범위에서 동작하는 열차 후부 감시제어 시스템용 RF 전력증폭기를 설계 및 제작하였다. 424MHz대역에서의 2W급 대전력 증폭기의 설계방법으로는 Double Stub Tuner구조를 이용하여 최적 부하 임피던스를 추출하는 방법을 제시하였고, 초고주파 시뮬레이터인 Serenade8.0을 사용하여 Drive_amp와 LPF를 설계하였다. 제작된 Drive_amp와 LPF의 성능 및 특성은 시뮬레이션 한 결과와 거의 일치하였으며, 대전력 증폭기의 측정결과로는 추출하고자 하는 출력 레벨인 33㏈m을 얻을 누 있었고, 원신호의 Hamonic 주파수 성분과는 40.34㏈c의 결과를 보임으로써 안정된 전력증폭기를 구현하였다.
