전력용 변압기 소음저감을 위한 차음판 기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Soundproofing Plate Techniques for Noise Reduction of Power Transformers)

  • 전력수요의 증가와 도심지역의 확대로 주거지역에 새로운 변전소를 건설하거나, 기존 변전소에 변압기 증설이 필요하다. 그러나 변전소의 변압기 소음으로 인한 불만이 증가하고 있다. 지금까지 한전에서는 변압기의 소음전달을 차단하기 위하여 옥외 변전소의 경우에는 방진패드 설치, 다양한 방음벽 설치, 변압기 본체 밀폐 등을 시행하여 왔으며, 옥내 변전소의 경우에는 방음문, 방음서터 및 풍도형 방음장치 설치 등을 시행하여 왔다. 그러나 현재의 소음 저감대책은 만족할 정도에 이르지 못하는 실정이다. 따라서 변압기 자체의 소음발생 억제에 대한 근본적인 대책이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 변압기 외함의 보강제 사이를 강판으로 막아 변압기 외함에서 방출되는 소음을 차단하기 위한 차음판 기술을 개발하였다. 차음판을 변압기 외함에 적용하기 위하여 변압기 외함의 진동 특성과 차음판의 적용에 따른 음의 감쇄를 해석하고, 실변압기에 차음판을 적용하여 소음의 저감효과를 측정하여 약 11[dB]의 소음저감 효과를 확인하였다.

변전소용 자동화 네트워크의 구현을 위한 연구 (Study on a Network for the Protection and Control in Substations)

  • Associated with the protection and control functions in the substations, a new network scheme based on the IEEE 802.4 is proposed in this paper. This network is designed for supporting 3 data classes: 1st, it includes the highly time-critical data for the fault detection function. 2nd, routine data with a period is to served for monitoring the power status. Finally, it contains the control data which is used for reporting an event about protection or tuning some values related with power status. The way to allocate target_token_rotation timer is provided to guarantee the protection and control activities in the suggested network for the substation.

  • Recently, a growing demands on electricity require a high performance and reliable operation in the area of protection, control and monitoring of power plants and substations which may not provides with conventional systems. This paper describes a novel IDPACS (Integrated Digital Protection And Control System) in which we integrate all protection, control and monitoring function of the substations. The simulation results show that the proposed system provides fast response and reliable operation of power plant with superb performance on protection and control system.

  • 765kV substations which will be the core installation of the bulk power transmission system in Korea for the upcoming $21^{st}$ century, were designed of outdoor full GIS type to minimize required area. As principal equipment, main transformers of 2,000 MVA per bank and 50kA 8,000A gas insulated switchgears of up-to-date technology were adopted in designing substations to transmit bulk power of 10GW. Dual digital protective relay systems and distributed indication and control systems with fiber optic LAN were used.

고속철도 변전소 피크부하 저감용 ESS 일간 운전 프로그램 개발 (Development of Daily Operation Program of Battery Energy Storage System for Peak Shaving of High-Speed Railway Substations)

  • This paper proposed a program of an energy storage system(ESS) for peak shaving of high-speed railway substations The peak shaving saves cost of equipment and demand cost of the substation. To reduce the peak load, it is very important to know when the peak load appears. The past data based load profile forecasting method is easy and applicable to customers which have relatively fixed load profiles. And an optimal scheduling method of the ESS is helpful in reducing the electricity tariff and shaving the peak load efficiently. Based on these techniques, MS. NET based peak shaving program is developed. In case study, a specific daily load profile of the local substation was applied and simulated to verify performance of the proposed program.

Measurement and Modeling of Personal Exposure to the Electric and Magnetic Fields in the Vicinity of High Voltage Power Lines

  • Background: This work presents an experimental and modeling study of the electromagnetic environment in the vicinity of a high voltage substation located in eastern Algeria (Annaba city) specified with a very high population density. The effects of electromagnetic fields emanating from the coupled multi-lines high voltage power systems (MLHV) on the health of the workers and people living in proximity of substations has been analyzed. Methods: Experimental Measurements for the Multi-lines power system proposed have been conducted in the free space under the high voltage lines. Field's intensities were measured using a referenced and calibrated electromagnetic field meter PMM8053B for the levels 0 m, 1 m, 1.5 m and 1.8 m witch present the sensitive's parts as organs and major functions (head, heart, pelvis and feet) of the human body. Results: The measurement results were validated by numerical simulation using the finite element method and these results are compared with the limit values of the international standards. Conclusion: We project to set own national standards for exposure to electromagnetic fields, in order to achieve a regional database that will be at the disposal of partners concerned to ensure safety of people and mainly workers inside high voltage electrical substations.

Installation of Induced Current Measurement Systems in Substations and Analysis of GIC Data during Geomagnetic Storms

  • Coronal Mass Ejections (CME), which originate from active regions of the Sun's surface, e.g., sunspots, result in geomagnetic storms on Earth. The variation of the Earth's geomagnetic field during such storms induces surface currents that could cause breakdowns in electricity power grids. Hence, it is essential to both monitor Geomagnetically Induced Currents (GICs) in real time and analyze previous GIC data. In 2012, in order to monitor the variation of GICs, the Korean Space Weather Center (KSWC) installed an induced current measurement system at SINGAPYEONG Substation, which is equipped with 765 kV extra-high-voltage transformers. Furthermore, in 2014, two induced current measurement systems were installed on the 345 kV high-voltage transformers at the MIGEUM and SINPOCHEON substations. This paper reports the installation process of the induced current measurement systems at these three substations. Furthermore, it presents the results of both an analysis performed using GIC data measured at the SINGAPYEONG Substation during periods of geomagnetic storms from July 2013 through April 2015 and the comparison between the obtained GIC data and magnetic field variation (dH/dt) data measured at the Icheon geomagnetic observatory.

변전소의 AC/DC 겸용 비상 및 복구 등에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Emergency and Recovery AC/DC Combination Lamps in the Electric Substations)

  • 본 연구는 변전소(사무실) 비상 및 복구등 설비환경 개선차원으로 실시하였다. 기존 비상등의 낮은 조도로 인해 발생하는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 AC/DC 겸용 형광등 안정기 및 스위치를 연구하였다. 또한 조도기준을 상시등의 5~10[%]가 아닌 한국산업규격 조도기준(KS A 3011)에 따른 원자력발전소 조도기준과 안전조명 조도기준을 참고로 변전소 각 실별 조도기준을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서 제안한 내용의 타당성을 검토하기 위해 실험을 하였다. 그 결과 축전지 용량을 증가시키지 않으면서도 비상 및 복구등의 조도를 높일 수 있었다.

345/154kV 초고압 송변전설비 주변에서의 전장의 측정과 분석 (Measurement and Analysis of Electric Field near 345/154kV UHV Overhead Transmission Lines and Substations)

  • In this paper, measurements and analyses of ELF electric fields in the vicinity of UHV overhead transmission lines and substations have been conducted. Planar-type sensors have been developed with special consideration of picking up lower frequency and spatial components without any distortion. So finally the electric field measuring system has the frequency bandwidth of 7[Hz] to 2.7[MHz] and the response sensitivity of 0.094[mV/V/m]. A brief description of design rules of the measuring system and measurement procedures is introduced. The actual survey near 154 and 345[kV] overhead transmission lines and power subststions was carried out and analyzed. It may be inferred from these results that the electric field intensity exeeds 7[kV/m] only in very few cases particularly at the substations so that the field measurements meet almost limits or guidelines that various authorized international institutes recommend.

  • 도시철도의 전동차는 변전설비로부터 전력을 공급받아 지상, 지하부의 다양한 선로조건(구배)를 지닌 선로를 운행하며, 열차 제동 시 많은 회생전력이 발생하고 있다. 회생제동은 에너지를 재활용 할 뿐만 아니라 기계식 브레이크의 사용을 줄이는 매우 이상적인 시스템이라고 할 수 있다. 또한 중요한 점은 회생제동이 가능한 시스템은 발생된 에너지가 어떤 정해진 흐름을 가지고 소모되고 재활용 가능하다는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 서울도시철도 선로구배도 검토 및 전동차 운행기록 분석, 전력공급소(변전소)의 전동차용 전력 공급반 전력분석 등으로 진행 되었다. 현재 운용중인 시스템 데이터의 분석을 통해 최적의 회생에너지 저장 시스템의 구축을 목표로 재활용 가능 에너지의 예측 및 분석을 시행 하였다.
