치과에 근무하는 치과보조인력의 업무실태 (Work reality of dental assistant)

  • 우리나라의 구강보조인력 중 치과위생사 업무와 치과 근무 간호조무사의 업무가 상당히 겹쳐 있고, 진료실 내부로 치과기공사 및 병원코디네이터가 깊숙이 들어와 있어 각 직종간의 업무영역으로 인해 마찰을 빗고 있다. 그리하여 이러한 직종 간 명확한 업무의 구분과 업무범위에 대한 정책적 방안을 제시할 목적으로, 치과 병 의원에 근무하는 치과보조인력의 업무 실태에 대해서 치과위생사의 법정업무를 중심으로 한 10개의 업무를 빈도분석 및 분산분석을 이용하여 비교 제시하였다. 치과위생사의 법정 업무를 중심으로 한 10개의 업무 중 대표적인 항목 스켈링을 비교한 결과, 치과기공사가 9(75%)명, 간호조무사가 64(87.67%)명, 기타에 체크한 사람이 11(64.71%)명이 시행하고 있어, 치과위생사를 제외한 치과보조인력이 치과위생사의 법정고유 업무를 많이 시행하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 치과의료기관이 필요한 인력을 충분히 갖추고, 구강보조인력의 역할과 업무범위에 대한 정책적 방안이 제시될 필요성이 권장된다.

  • Using the normalized sample Lorenz curve which is introduced by Kang and Cho (2001), we propose the test statistics for testing of normality that is very important test in statistical analysis and compare the proposed test with the other tests in terms of the power of test through by Monte Carlo method. 롤러형 파종기 구동용 직류모터의 회전속도 제어 (Speed Control of DC Motor for Roller Type Seeder)

  • This study was conducted to develop a speed control system of a DC motor which drove a barley seeder mounted on a combine harvester. Barley seeder mounted on a combine has been known to reduce labor and cost of barley cultivation. However, development of the seeder has been unsuccessful because the combine, a dedicated rice and barley harvester has not enough space and proper power take-off for barley seeder. To develop a barley seeder, small powered motor speed controller was required. A proximity sensor for detecting working speed of the combine and a programmable one board microprocessor was used to develope a control system. Motor parameters and motor constant, relationship between seeding rate, motor speed, groove volumes of a tested roller, torque were measured. The proximity sensor sent a frequency signal to the microprocessor. In laboratory experiments, the excitation voltage of the motor was shown not to be proportional to the size of pulse width (duty ratio). A table transforming frequency signal, that represented for working speed to proper pulse width was developed from seeding rate experiments. However, seeding rate at low frequency signal was not proportional to the working speed. Seeding rate control proportional to the frequency signal was achieved by shifting of the frequency signal.

Neuro-Fuzzy Algorithm for Nuclear Reactor Power Control : Part I

  • A neuro-fuzzy algorithm is presented for nuclear reactor power control in a pressurized water reactor. Automatic reacotr power control is complicated by the use of control rods because of highly nonlinear dynamics in the axial power shape. Thus, manual shaped controls are usually employed even for the limited capability during the power maneuvers. In an attempt to achieve automatic shape control, a neuro-fuzzy approach is considered because fuzzy algorithms are good at various aspects of operator's knowledge representation while neural networks are efficinet structures capable of learning from experience and adaptation to a changing nuclear core state. In the proposed neuro-fuzzy control scheme, the rule base is formulated based ona multi-input multi-output system and the dynamic back-propagation is used for learning. The neuro-fuzzy powere control algorithm has been tested using simulation fesponses of a Korean standard pressurized water reactor. The results illustrate that the proposed control algorithm would be a parctical strategy for automatic nuclear reactor power control.

  • A portable torque and power measurement system for small farm equipment based on instrumented pulley was developed. The prototype pulley was machined from mild steel, with spokes serving as strain beams. Strain gages mounted to the spokes sense the bending strain due to the torque and convert this into millivolt output. Calibration results showed the torque-millivolt relationship was linear, while hysterisis and error were less than 1% fs. For power measurements, an additional tachmeter with dcvoltage output is necessary. With the tachometer , error in power measurement was +-1.03W or 0.2% fs. Field tests showed that for ease of installation, no machine alteration needed and safety, this system had advantage over other methods for small farm equipment.

Error Rate for the Limiting Poisson-power Function Distribution

  • The number of neutron signals from a neutral particle beam(NPB) at the detector, without any errors, obeys Poisson distribution, Under two assumptions that NPB scattering distribution and aiming errors have a circular Gaussian distribution respectively, an exact probability distribution of signals becomes a Poisson-power function distribution. In this paper, we show that the error rate in simple hypothesis testing for the limiting Poisson-power function distribution is not zero. That is, the limit of ${\alpha}+{\beta}$ is zero when Poisson parameter$\kappa\rightarro\infty$, but this limit is not zero (i.e., $\rho\ell$>0)for the Poisson-power function distribution. We also give optimal decision algorithms for a specified error rate.

인휠형 스마트 휠체어를 위한 힘 보조 제어기 설계 (Design of the Power Assist Controller for the In-Wheel Type Smart Wheelchair)

  • 본 논문은 인휠형 휠체어에 있어 휠 림에 걸리는 외력을 차량의 전압과 회전 속도를 통해 예측하고 이를 통해 각 바퀴에 사용자의 힘에 따라 차량의 방향 및 속도를 제어할 수 있도록 고안된 제어기 설계에 관한 논문이다. 최근 노인 인구의 증가로 인해 노인 및 장애인을 위한 이동기기에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있다. 특히 많은 수의 고령자들이 휠체어를 이용하고 있다. 하지만 고령자의 경우 수동 휠체어 사용 시 국내 지형상의 문제로 인해 구동에 어려움을 겪는다. 또한 전동 휠체어의 경우 조이스틱으로 구동하므로 하체 근력 약화로 인해 휠체어를 이용하는 고령자의 경우, 상체 근력 또한 약화될 수 있다. 이를 극복하기 위해 림(rim)에 힘이 가해지는 힘의 크기를 파악하여 이에 상응하는 모터를 구동시키는 힘 보조형 인휠 전동기에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 힘 보조형 인휠 전동기의 경우 힘의 크기를 측정하기 위한 센서 모듈이 장착되어야 하며 이를 위해 힘의 크기를 측정하기 위한 별도의 림을 설계해야 하는 등 기구적 장치가 요구된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 힘의 크기를 측정하기 위한 림 설계 대신에 모터의 수학적 모델을 기초로 모터에 전달되는 전압과 바퀴의 현재 속도를 토대로 인휠형 모터에 걸리는 외력을 추정하고 이를 토대로 사용자의 이동 속도와 방향을 추정하여 모터를 이동시킬 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문은 제안된 수학적 모델을 기초로 사용자의 구동 의지력을 정확하게 측정할 있었다. 또한 이를 기초로 한 제어기를 적용할 경우 인휠 휠체어를 사용자의 의지에 따라 이동할 수 있음을 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

표면품질 향상을 위한 레이저 절단조건 (Determinationof Optimal Cutting Condition for High Quality Cutting Surface)

  • The quality of cutting surface such as surface roughness, heat affected zone, serf width can be improved by controlling the parameters of cuting process. These parameters includes cutting velocity, laser beam power, material depth and assistant gas. Thermodynamic analysis and systematical experiments are attempted to pedict and determine the optimal cutting condition. There exists the optimal cutting condition to ensure high quality surface. Under this operation, the minimum surface roughness of the mild steel, the stainless steel and the titanium becomes 3.8${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ 13${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and 10${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ respectively.

Goodness-of-Fit Test for the Exponential Distribution Based on the Transformed Sample Lorenz curve

  • The transformed sample Lorenz curve provides a powerful and easily computed goodness-of-fit test for exponentiality which does not depend on the unknown scale parameter. We compare the power of the transformed sample Lorenz curve statistic with the other goodness-of-fit tests for exponentiality against various alternatives through Monte Carlo methods and discuss the results.
