Objective: This study analyzed the correlation between uni-standing balance ability, jumping ability, and anaerobic lower extremity power of high school Taekwondo players. Design: Cross-sectional study Methods: Two high schools recruited 36 taekwondo players, but 5 were dropped due to personal circumstances and preparations for the tournament, so the number was counted as 31. In order to test uni-standing balance ability, the Romberg test was performed using Biorescue to measure the sway area. In order to test jumping ability, standing long jump and standing highjump were measured. For anaerobic lower extremity muscle power test, the peak power and average power were measured through 30-second pedaling using a Wingate system bicycle. Results: Participants did not show any correlation with other measures in the uni-standing balance ability test (p>0.05). Looking at the correlation in the standing long jump, standing high jump (r=0.892, p<0.05), anaerobic peak power (r=0.698, p<0.05), anaerobic average leg power (r=0.662, p<0.05) showed a positive correlation. Looking at the correlations in the standing high jump, anaerobic peak power (r=0.663, p<0.05), anaerobic average power (r=0.697, p<0.05) showed a positive correlation. Looking at the correlation in the anaerobic peak power, average power (r=0.785, p<0.05) showed a positive correlation. Conclusions: This study shows that balance ability and anaerobic leg strength are independent of each other. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the training plan of high school taekwondo players in the future.

Objective: This study examined the effects of mothers' reactions to children's negative emotions on the children's social power through children's emotional regulation ability. Methods: A total of 339 four-year and five- year old preschoolers, and their mother and teachers in Seoul and Gyeongi participated in the study. Data were analyzed by path analysis using AMOS 21.0 program. Results: The results were as follows: First, mothers' reactions to children's negative emotions were significantly related to children's emotional regulation ability and social power. Also, children's emotional regulation ability was significantly associated with children's social power. Second, mothers' reactions to children's negative emotions had indirect effects on social power - prosocial leadership and social dominance-through children's emotional regulation ability. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study revealed the mediating role of children's emotional regulation ability between mothers' reactions to children's negative emotions and children's social power. Also, these findings will be helpful in order to understand children's social power and to develop parent education programs.

This paper describes the protective ability of lightning arrestor in combined distribution system with power cable. To evaluate the protective ability, change of arrestor and grounding location are considered. On the other hand, arrestor developed by Cooper Power Systems for underground power cable system, is considered to evaluate surge protective ability as in underground system, when arrestor occurs failure has overhead line. The result shows that lightning arrestor in combined distribution system with power cable protect effectively when failure at arrestor in overhead line. On the other hand, arrestor developed by Cooper Power Systems for underground power cable system, is considered to evaluate surge protective ability in underground distribution system, when arrestor of overhead line has failure. The result shows that lightning arrestor installed in underground cable can effectively protected cables from surge when arrestor of overhead line has failure. And also even though grounding locations are decreased, it is revealed that protective ability is nearly similar.

A hybrid kernel function of support vector machine is proposed to improve the classification performance of power quality disturbances. The kernel function mathematical model of support vector machine directly affects the classification performance. Different types of kernel functions have different generalization ability and learning ability. The single kernel function cannot have better ability both in learning and generalization. To overcome this problem, we propose a hybrid kernel function that is composed of two single kernel functions to improve both the ability in generation and learning. In simulations, we respectively used the single and multiple power quality disturbances to test classification performance of support vector machine algorithm with the proposed hybrid kernel function. Compared with other support vector machine algorithms, the improved support vector machine algorithm has better performance for the classification of power quality signals with single and multiple disturbances.

According to construction of global administration environment, all over the world was ended up in infinite competition period. Because eating out company also competes with another company, it must enjoy competitive power high position to secure high position continuously, classified by formation constituent's individuation and two aspects of organic special quality by the factor. Individuation classified by formation constituent's business ability, personal relations, age factors of Information Technology, and organic special quality classifies by factor of formation culture and result that analyze eating out company's business condition competitive power reinforcement effect factor is same as following. First, was construed by company culture, personal relations, business ability period of ten days with family Restaurant, and Information Technology showed that do not influence. Competitive power reinforcement effect factor with special restaurant was construed by company culture, personal relations, business ability period of ten days, and fast food company culture and Information Technology factor with hotel restaurant company culture by competitive power reinforcement effect factor construe.

The summarized analysis result of this research is as follows. First, regarding the difference of preceding variable and dependent variable, statistically considerable difference did not appear between self determination and personal relations in educational background and between groups of self determination in hotel type, and statistically considerable difference appeared among other groups. Second, regression analysis result between empowerment and job satisfaction turned out that statistically considerable influence is exerted in the order of personal relations ability, influence power, role performance ability and self-decision nature. Third, regression analysis result between empowerment and job devotion turned out that statistically considerable influence is exerted in the order of personal relations ability, role performance ability and influence power. Fourth, regression analysis result between empowerment and organization devotion turned out that statistically considerable result is exerted in the order of influence power and personal relations ability. Fifth, it turned out that statistically relative high correlation existed among correlation of empowerment and result variable such as job satisfaction, job devotion and organization devotion. The above-mentioned matters considered, this research proposes following points. This research examines the effect of empowerment on job satisfaction and organizational commitment of culinary staff in the hotel. the effect of the variable of empowerment on result variable shows that role performance ability, influence power and personal relations ability are important variables. Therefore, to improve the role performance ability of members of kitchen, it is essential for each individual to improve their ability and to have confidence at the time of business performance. So, this research implies that consistent and systematic training is necessary for increasing the ability and confidence. In order to improve influence power, it is necessary for members of an organization to have strong faith that their jobs determine the success of the company, and to increase the sense of self-control by letting them have the right of self determination, so that all members may have strong desire to transact business. This research implies that in order to improve personal relations ability, it is necessary for members of an organization to discover the best method of decision-making and solve problems through members' developing mutual action, and for managers to take personal characteristics into account so that members may have belief and confidence in their job and realize the value of their job. In conclusion, the person in charge of personnel affairs and the manager in charge of kitchen need to realize the importance of empowerment and especially have an much interest in all parts including self determination, influence power and role performance ability and personal relations ability etc.

Background: This study had been carried out with 20 elderly subjects as its object for about one month from November 3, 2008 to December 14, 2008 in order to observe the effect of Underwater Treadmill on the elderly's walking and balance ability. Methods: Subjects were assigned either experimental group (n=10) or the control group (n=10), experimental group received Underwater Treadmill program (30 min per course, 3days a week for 6weeks). Subjects were assessed for muscle power (Nicolas Manual Muscle Test), balance (Functional Reach Test), gait ability (Time Up and Go, 10M walking test) before experiments and after experiments. Results: The results of this study were as follows; 1. After underwater treadmill exercise, the change of isometric contraction indicated a beneficial increase on lower extremity muscle power of experimental group and functional test of balance function; FRT, TUG indicated beneficial difference between groups. 2. beneficial difference between groups in walking speed of hourly index change of walking function. 3. between muscle power and balance, gait ability, we could find out there's high correlation ship between lower extremity muscle power increasing and balance and gait ability of the elderly. Conclusion: Aerobic exercise using underwater treadmill effects on muscle power strengthening of the elderly, and because of this, increase of lower extremity muscle power is very helpful not only to improvement of balance ability, but also to improvement of gait ability, so it will be used as a physical therapy program on clinic and used as an exercise program for protecting the elderly from falling down very well.

볶음처리한 새송이버섯의 마이크로웨이브 추출조건, 즉 에탄올 농도, 추출시간 및 마이크로웨이브 power에 따른 품질특성을 살펴보았다. 총 페놀성 화합물 함량, 전자공여능 및 pH 1.2에서의 아질산염소거능은 50% 에탄올로 추출한 경우 높게 나타났다. SOD 유사활성은 75% 에탄을 농도로 추출하였을때 가장 높은 활성을 나타났다. 가용성 고형분 및 총 페놀성 화합물 함량은 추출시간이 증가할수록 증가하다가 7분일 때 가장 높게 나타났으며, 전자공여능은 추출시간이 증가할수록 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, SOD유사활성 및 아질산염소거능의 경우추출시간에 따른 유의적인 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 마이크로웨이브 power 의 경우 100 W로 추출하였을 때 가용성 고형분, 총 페놀성화합물 함량 및 전자공여능 가장 높게 나타났다. SOD 유사 활성은 25 W일 때 높은 활성을 나타내었다. 그러나 아질산염 소거능은 마이크로웨이브 power에 영향을 많이 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

Motor ability were hypothesized to be major factors that may have an influence on IADL(instrumental activities of daily living). The purpose of this study was to investi gate the effect of motor ability of elderly on IADL. This study consisted of forty eight elder male and ninety elder female. The subjects were selected from L, S, Y-institution in kyoung ki do. The average age of elder male and female was 73.81, 71.38 years. The data were analyzed with t-test, repeated measurement, correlation test, regression test, using SPSS PC+ and MINITAB program. The measurement item of motor ability was muscle strength(left, right- grip strength), flexibility(sitting trunk flexion, trunk extension, leg raising while in a standing position), agility(whole body reaction test, standing up), power(sargent jump), balance (stork stand). IADL was measured with Philadelphia Geriatric Center IADL. The result of this study were the following : 1. The factor of significant difference of between elder male and female was muscle strength, flexibility, power but no significant difference was agility, balance. 2. Between IADL of elder male and female was no significant difference. 3. Correlation of IADL and Motor ability of elder male had effect on muscle strength and power, agility. Correlation of Body composition and Motor ability of elder female had effect on muscle strength and power, agility. As a result of this study, optimal motor ability of elder male and female had improved IADL. In addition to, this result of this study, it can suggested the consideration of the Health promotion program for elderly.

마이크로웨이브 추출(MAE)을 이용하여 만가닥버섯을 물, 50% 에탄올, 99% 에탄올로 추출하였으며 마이크로웨이브의 power와 시간에 따라 추출물의 총 폴리페놀 함량, 전자공여 작용(EDA), tyrosinase 저해작용, 아질산염 소거작용의 차이를 관찰하였다. Microwave power를 60∼120 W로 증가시킴에 따라 총 폴리페놀 함량과 전자공여능은 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 만가닥버섯의 전자공여능이 90 W에서 평형에 이른 반면에 tyrosinase 저해능은 90 W 이상에서 급격히 증가하였다. 50% 에탄을 추출물과 99% 에탄을 추출물의 아질산염 소거능은 microwave power를 증가시킴에 따라 확연히 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으며 pH 1.2에서 99% 에탄을 추출물은 물 추출물에 비해 약 5배 정도의 높은 값을 나타내었다. 추출시간에 따른 총 폴리페놀 함량을 살펴본 결과 물 추출물의 경우 추출시간 5분에서 평형에 이르렀다. 전자공 여능은 5∼10분 사이에 급격히 증가하다가 10분에서 평형에 이르렀으며 물 추출물에서 가장 높게 나타내었다. tyrosinase 저해능은 microwave power 증가에 따라 점진적으로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다.
