Ch를 이용한 직선형 5공 압력 프로브의 3차원 유동속도 계측시스템 개발 (Development of Three-Dimensional Flow Velocity Component Measurement System with Straight-Type Five-Hole Pressure Probe Using Ch Language)

  • This paper shows the development process for measuring three-dimensional flow velocity components in a web-browser. The system is developed in an embeddable C/C++ interpreter Ch and Ch-CGI toolkit. The interface for the web-based measurement system consists of a set of web HTML files and Ch files for CGI. All of data in web browser are passed to Ch-CGI script to generate the output of new HTML file. PC-Server and PC-Client can submit measurement parameters and receive the text/graphical results each other. PC-Client can control the test equipment by using a parameters that received from PC-Server. It also can pass the test results between the web-based measurement system. In summary, the designed measurement system is evaluated, the outputs shown well on the web browser.

IEEE 1459-2010 규격의 정의를 이용한 다중 입력 채널을 갖는 전력 감시 시스템 (Power Monitoring System with Multiple Input Channels Using the Definition of IEEE Standard 1459-2010)

  • 본 논문에서는 전력 시스템의 전원 및 부하 측을 동시에 감시가 가능한 다 채널(전압 8채널, 전류 10채널) 전력 측정 시스템을 개발하였다. 제안된 시스템은 전력품질과 관련된 규정인 IEEE 1459-2010의 정의를 사용하여 전력 성분을 계산하는 신호처리 알고리즘을 기반으로 TMS320C42 DSP를 이용하여 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 표준 전원 공급 장치를 이용하여 그 성능 시험을 실시하였고, 그 결과 측정오차는 0.2% 이하로 나타났다. 또한 제안된 시스템을 3상 4선식 전력시스템에 설치하여 실증 시험을 실시하여 그 성능을 입증하였다. 제안된 시스템은 상업 및 산업용 전력 시스템에 적용하여 동시에 다 채널로 전력을 측정 및 분석함으로써 전력품질과 관련된 다양한 문제를 줄일 수 있을 것이다.

회전 토크 교정장치 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of a Rotational Torque Calibration System)

  • A rotational torque calibration system is developed to measure rotational torque of power generating systems and to calibrate non-contact rotational torque measurement systems. The maximum capacity of the developed system is 4.5 N-m. It is composed of a DC motor, a DC generator, a control system, a master torque cell, a slip ling/brush set, supporters, a bed etc. The control system is characterized by the closed-loop control with differential intergrator. Rotational torque measurement test and unit response test are conducted to estimate the accuracy of the developed system. It is found that system maintain high consistency and accuracy with the maximum error of 0.25%, Therefore the developed system can be used to measure the rotational torque of power generating systems and to calibrate non-contact rotational torque measurement systems.

전력설비 동작 상태 감시를 위한 저가형 전력 성분 측정 및 기록 시스템의 개발 (The Development of Low Cost Power Components Measurement and Record System for Monitoring Electrical Equipment Operation Status)

  • 본 논문에서는 전력설비의 동작 상태를 주기적으로 감시 및 기록함으로써 전기안전사고를 예방하고 사후 원인 분석을 지원하기 위한 저가형 전력 성분 측정 및 기록 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템에서는 정밀한 전력 성분의 측정과 기록, 원격 측정이 가능하면서도 비용을 줄일 수 있도록 부품을 선정하여 제작하였다. 특히, IEEE 1459-2010에 정의된 전력 성분을 계산하기 위해 MAXIM사의 78M6631을 이용함으로써 저비용 고성능 시스템 구현이 가능하였다. 개발된 시스템은 공인 시험기관에서 사용하고 있는 YOKOGAWA 전력분석기 WT1600 과 같은 표준 장비를 이용하여 측정 성능 시험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 측정 오차가 0.5%이하로 나타났고 6개월 이상 현장에 설치하여 동작 신뢰성과 원격 측정 성능 시험을 실시하여 그 성능을 입증하였다.

Development of Composite Load Models of Power Systems using On-line Measurement Data

  • Load representation has a significant impact on power system analysis and control results. In this paper, composite load models are developed based on on-line measurement data from a practical power system. Three types of static-dynamic load models are derived: general ZIP-induction motor model, Exponential-induction motor model and Z-induction motor model. For the dynamic induction motor model, two different third-order induction motor models are studied. The performances in modeling real and reactive power behaviors by composite load models are compared with other dynamic load models in terms of relative mismatch error. In addition, numerical consideration of ill-conditioned parameters is addressed based on trajectory sensitivity. Numerical studies indicate that the developed composite load models can accurately capture the dynamic behaviors of loads during disturbance.

DC-DC 컨버터의 고속 손실측정과 분석을 위한 PC 기반 계측시스템 (A PC-based instrumental system for fast measurement and analysis of power losses in DC-DC converter)

  • 본 논문에서는 스위칭 전원장치의 효율을 높은 정밀도로 측정하고 분석학 수 있는 PC 기반 가상계측 기를 구성하여 운용한 결과를 보고한 것이다. 고전압 저전류 방식에 적합한 간접 측정방식과 저전압 대전류 전원장치에 적합한 직접 측정방식의 비교를 수행하였으며, 직접 측정방식에서는 측정 편차를 최소화시키기 위해서 보상 기능을 추가하였다. 구성된 가상계측기의 성능을 검증하기 위해서 50W급 통신기용 전원장치를 대상으로 특성을 계측하였다. 그 결과 기존의 방법에 비해서 전원장치의 정상상태 특성을 정확하게 평가할 수 있으며, 반복 측정 오차를 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 실시간 측정이 가능하며, 측정 시간도 절약할 수 있었다.

Centralized Adaptive Under Frequency Load Shedding Schemes for Smart Grid Using Synchronous Phase Measurement Unit

  • Under frequency load shedding (UFLS) is an effective way to prevent system blackout after a serious disturbance occurs in a power system. A novel centralized adaptive under frequency load shedding (AUFLS) scheme using the synchronous phase measurement unit (PMU) is proposed in this paper. Two main stages are consisted of in the developed technique. In the first stage, the active power deficit is estimated by using the simplest expression of the generator swing equation and static load model since the frequency, voltages and their rate of change can be obtained by means of measurements in real-time from various devices such as phase measurement units. In the second stage, the UFLS schemes are adapted to the estimated magnitude based on the presented model. The effectiveness of the proposed AUFLS scheme is investigated simulating different disturbance in IEEE 10-generator 39-bus New England test system.

  • The rapid development of measurement systems for high power tests makes it possible to measure signals as well as analyze with the help of computer. Also, methods to evaluate such measurement systems are required recently. Uncertainty has been regarding as the most important factor in evaluating the measurement systems. Because of the character of the measurement systems for high power tests. the uncertainty shall be evaluated by each component. If the uncertainty evaluated by each component, it is convenient to evaluate total uncertainty of the measurement systems according to each component setting's combination. In this paper each component of high current measurement system of high power testing Dept. II in Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute is evaluated except sensors such as shunts and CTs. The total uncertainty of the measurement systems can be determined by that of each component including uncertainty of sensors.

  • A Study of Improvement in Reactor Thermal Power Measurement Method using Kalman Filter. The objectives of the safety analysis of nuclear power plants are to maintain the surface temperature of fuel and fuel cladding within limit value in case of Loss of Coolant accident (LOCA) so that it ensures the safety and reliability of nuclear power plants. The new technique evaluating the reactor power and improvement of existing plant system increase the safety margin of nuclear power plant operation, and accordingly, economic effect will be anticipated. Hereby, 1 would like to introduce reactor power measurement method using Kalman filter that enables to calculate the reactor power more precisely combining the parameters, for example, turbine output as the 1 st stage pressure of high pressure turbine, and reactor power using energy equilibrium relation. It is expected that the new technique will enhance the accuracy of measurement of reactor power and maintain the reliability of nuclear power operation by increasing operational safety margin, and gain the economic benefit

An Effective Experimental Optimization Method for Wireless Power Transfer System Design Using Frequency Domain Measurement

  • This paper proposes an experimental optimization method for a wireless power transfer (WPT) system. The power transfer characteristics of a WPT system with arbitrary loads and various types of coupling and compensation networks can be extracted by frequency domain measurements. The various performance parameters of the WPT system, such as input real/imaginary/apparent power, power factor, efficiency, output power and voltage gain, can be accurately extracted in a frequency domain by a single passive measurement. Subsequently, the design parameters can be efficiently tuned by separating the overall design steps into two parts. The extracted performance parameters of the WPT system were validated with time-domain experiments.
