자전거 거치대 잠금장치의 부하시 효율개선을 위한 구동모터성능비교에 관한 연구 (A Study on Driving Motor Performance Comparison for Load Efficiency Improvement of a Bicycle Locker System)

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of a Bicycle Locker System. Generally DC motor has been used to control a Bicycle Locker System, but DC motor system requires frequent maintenances and its power efficiency is comparatively poor especially under heavy load conditions. In order to improve this difficulties, this paper adopts BLDC motor for a Bicycle Locker System and its motor controller is developed. The performances of locker units are compared between DC motor unit and BLDC motor unit. The motor power consumptions between two motors are discussed. Test results verify that power efficiency of the suggested BLDC drive unit is considerably improved compared to the DC drive unit with load condition.

  • Power conversion system for a magnetically levitated vehicle consists of propulsion inverter to drive linear motor, levitation chopper to drive magnet and power source unit. This paper presents the characteristics of power conversion system in prototype Maglev system. In order to improve performance of electrical equipment IGBT is adopted in a main circuit. Audible noise is reduced to below 60 dB and size is also reduced to 1/3. This system is verified through experiment.

  • Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) has been researched for its superior characteristics. The SRM drive system has simple mechanical and magnetic structure, and it requires simple power electronic drive circuit. It is to be compatible to wide range adjustable speed drive system because it has the same driving characteristics of DC series motor's, easy control principle and high efficiency characteristics. In this paper, 2 types of excitation strategy are researched. Conventional 1-phase excitation and 2-phase excitation method are compared and tested. Though 1-phase excitation method is robust and has high performance, 2-phase excitation method has some merit in appling power device. Some simulation and test results are foaled with some analysis.

  • The Direct Drive Valve used in this study contains a pressure-feedback-loop in itself, then it can eliminate nonlinearity such as the square-root-term in flow rate calculation and the change of bulk modulus of hydraulic oil. In this study, assuming that the dynamic characteristic of the DDV is modelled as a first order lag system, an parameter identification method using the input data and the output data is applied to obtain DDV's mathematical model. Then, a state feedback controller was designed to implement the force control of hydraulic system, and the control performance was evaluated.

  • 본 논문에서는 L, S 및 C 대역에서 동작하는 주파수 분배 방식의 광대역 구동증폭기를 설계 및 제작하였다. 구동증폭기의 비대역폭이 100% 이상인 경우에는 트랜지스터를 효율적으로 이용하기 어려우며, 특히 주파수 대역에 따라 출력 전력 및 효율의 특성이 민감하게 변하는 전력증폭기를 동작시키기 위해서는 구동증폭기의 특성이 중요하게 작용한다. 본 논문에서는 구동증폭기의 대역폭을 최대화하고, 구동증폭기의 뒤쪽에 위치 할 전력증폭기의 트랜지스터를 효율적으로 이용 할 수 있도록 구동증폭기의 출력을 저대역과 고대역으로 나누어주는 주파수 분배 방식을 적용하였다. 설계된 회로는 GaAs HBT (Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor) 공정 및 9-layer의 SiP (System in Package)를 이용하여 제작하였고, 측정을 통해 성능을 검증하였다. 제작된 회로는 동작 주파수 범위에서 8 dB이상의 이득과 15 dBm이상의 출력전력을 보여주었다.

  • IPMSM은 고효율, 고성능으로 전동기로서 전기 자동차의 적용분야에 적용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전기자동차의 구동을 위하여 PMSM의 약계자 영역에서 최대 토크제어를 제시한다. 최대 토크동작을 위하여 최적 d축 전류를 결정하고 이 전류를 각 제어모드에서 사용한다. 최대 토크를 발생하기 위하여 전류 조절기의 출력인 인버터의 출력 전압은 DC 링크전압을 최대로 이용한다. 제안한 IPMSM 최대 토크제어의 특성을 제시하고 타당성을 입증한다.

Real-Time Hardware Simulator for Grid-Tied PMSG Wind Power System

  • This paper describes a real-time hardware simulator for a grid-tied Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) wind power system, which consists of an anemometer, a data logger, a motor-generator set with vector drive, and a back-to-back power converter with a digital signal processor (DSP) controller. The anemometer measures real wind speed, and the data is sent to the data logger to calculate the turbine torque. The calculated torque is sent to the vector drive for the induction motor after it is scaled down to the rated simulator power. The motor generates the mechanical power for the PMSG, and the generated electrical power is connected to the grid through a back-to-back converter. The generator-side converter in a back-to-back converter operates in current control mode to track the maximum power point at the given wind speed. The grid-side converter operates to control the direct current link voltage and to correct the power factor. The developed simulator can be used to analyze various mechanical and electrical characteristics of a grid-tied PMSG wind power system. It can also be utilized to educate students or engineers on the operation of grid-tied PMSG wind power system.

Simple Neuro-Controllers for Field-Oriented Induction Motor Servo Drives

  • In this paper, the position control of a detuned indirect field oriented control (IFOC) induction motor drive is studied. A proposed Simple-Neuro-Controllers (SNCs) are designed and analyzed to achieve high-dynamic performance both in the position command tracking and load regulation characteristics for robotic applications. The proposed SNCs are trained on-line based on the back propagation algorithm with a modified error function. Four SNCs are developed for position, speed and d-q axes stator currents respectively. Also, a synchronous proportional plus integral-derivative (PI-D) two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) position controller and PI-D speed controller are designed for an ideal IFOC induction motor drive with the desired dynamic response. The performance of the proposed SNCs and synchronous PI-D 2DOF position controllers for detuned field oriented induction motor servo drive is investigated. Simulation results show that the proposed SNCs controllers provide high-performance dynamic characteristics which are robust with regard to motor parameter variations and external load disturbance. Furthermore, comparing the SNC position controller with the synchronous PI-D 2DOF position controller demonstrates the superiority of the proposed SNCs controllers due to attain a robust control performance for IFOC induction motor servo drive system.

  • Due to poor energy resources, the importance of energy saving has been greatly emphasized. It can be one method of energy saving to reduce the power. The AC adjustable speed drive systems show excellent efficiency, which have been developed in recent years. The adjustable speed drive system improves the efficiency in lightly load condition and extend the life span of motor by limiting the over-current at starting. The main topic of study is the results of energy saving and emergency transfer.

  • In large system, design margin makes relatively price higher. So, optimal design through exact analysis of thermal behavior is needed. In this paper, we propose the equivalent load test facility using two inverter & converter system and inductors. Applying actual electrical profiles for motor drive, thermal characteristics of power converter fed AC motor drive are obtained, and the results are compared with simulation results.
