실내 위치추적 시스템의 비즈니스 모델 사례 연구 (Case Study on Business Model for Indoor Positioning System)

  • 최근 실내 공간 사용자들을 대상으로 한 서비스의 관심이 증가하고 있다. 실내 위치추적 시스템은 다양한 무선통신 인프라를 활용하여 측위 오차의 범위를 최소화 할 수 있고 이동통신망과 결합하여 실내 측위 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있다. 하지만 환경에 상관없이 유연하게 동작하는 위치추적 시스템의 기술은 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 체계화된 실내 위치추적 비즈니스 모델에 관한 연구가 더욱 필요한 시점이다. 본 논문의 목적은 실내 외 위치추적 시스템의 측위기술 차이점을 분류하고 실내 위치추적 시스템에 적용되는 무선통신 방식(Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RFID, UWB, Fingerprint 등)의 기술방식과 다양한 국내 외 구축사례 및 활용사례를 연구하고 이를 통해 성공적인 실내 위치추적 시스템 모델 설정과 향후 시스템 발전방향을 제시한다.

Architecture Design for Maritime Centimeter-Level GNSS Augmentation Service and Initial Experimental Results on Testbed Network

  • In this paper, we overview the system development status of the national maritime precise point positioning-real-time kinematic (PPP-RTK) service in Korea, also known as the Precise POsitioning and INTegrity monitoring (POINT) system. The development of the POINT service began in 2020, and the open service is scheduled to start in 2025. The architecture of the POINT system is composed of three provider-side facilities-a reference station, monitoring station, and central control station-and one user-side receiver platform. Here, we propose the detailed functionality of each component considering unidirectional broadcasting of augmentation data. To meet the centimeter-level user positioning accuracy in maritime coverage, new reference stations were installed. Each reference station operates with a dual receiver and dual antenna to reduce the risk of malfunctioning, which can deteriorate the availability of the POINT service. The initial experimental results of a testbed from corrections generated from the testbed network, including newly installed reference stations, are presented. The results show that the horizontal and vertical accuracies satisfy 2.63 cm and 5.77 cm, respectively. For the purpose of (near) real-time broadcasting of POINT correction data, we designed a correction message format including satellite orbit, satellite clock, satellite signal bias, ionospheric delay, tropospheric delay, and coordinate transformation parameters. The (near) real-time experimental setup utilizing (near) real-time processing of testbed network data and the designed message format are proposed for future testing and verification of the system.

공공도서관 서비스 포지셔닝 전략 (Public Library Service Positioning Strategy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 공공도서관 서비스이용자를 충성도에 따라 세분화하고 각 세분시장을 목표시장으로 하는 공공도서관서비스 포지셔닝전략을 탐색하는데 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기위해 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하였으며 인터뷰결과는 질적 분석 방법으로 분석하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 공공도서관서비스에 대한 충성도가 낮은 집단에 제시된 포지셔닝전략은 첫째, 이동도서관서비스의 확대실시 및 셔틀버스의 활용, 둘째, 정기적이고 체계적인 이용자조사, 셋째, 공공도서관 서비스 홍보방식의 다양화, 넷째, 이용자조사를 통해 이용자가 원하는 자료 구비 등 이었다. 공공도서관 서비스에 대한 충성도가 높은 집단에 대한 포지셔닝전략은 첫째, 내부마케팅, 둘째, 도서관 시설 및 설비 품질의 일정 수준 유지, 셋째, 취학 전 아동 및 초, 중, 고등학생과 학부모를 위한 독서프로그램 기획 및 제공이었다.

The Antecedents and Consequences of Effective Brand Positioning

  • This study investigates which variables most effectively influence the positioning strategy of a brand. In addition, we test the connection between the positioning strategy of the brand and loyalty. Finally, we explore how brand experience effects the relationship between brand position and brand loyalty. To this end, this study employs the street-intercept method to collect data on consumers' perception of home appliances in Japan and conducts structural equation modeling analysis to test our hypotheses. Specifically, we find that assessments of product, service, and image have a significant impact on a brand's position which, in turn, drives brand loyalty. In addition, brand experience seems to moderate the relationship between service and brand positioning effectiveness. We also find that price promotions negatively affect brand loyalty. The research provides a consumer-centered, experiential view of how firms can develop strategies to more effectively position brands and increase loyalty among their customers. These results help both academics and practitioners to better understand how consumers assess a brand's position in the marketplace.

  • We have implement indoor positioning system to supply orientation information, We have used ultrasound in indoor positioning system for distance and orientation measurements, then propose a set of methods to calculate orientation from an array of well placed ultrasonic sensors operating in the indoor positioning system, We have design and implement a indoor positioning system using a combination of hardware and software and demonstrate end-to-end functionality of the system, We have implement ZigBee based home automation system using location-aware System.

Monitoring QZSS CLAS-based VRS-RTK Positioning Performance

  • The Centimeter Level Augmentation Service (CLAS) is the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) - Real Time Kinematic (RTK) correction service utilizing the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) L6 (1278.65 MHz) signal to broadcast the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) error corrections. Compact State-Space Representation (CSSR) corrections for mitigating GNSS measurement error sources such as satellite orbit, clock, code and phase biases, tropospheric error, ionospheric error are estimated from the ground segment of QZSS CLAS using the code and carrier-phase measurements collected in the Japan's GNSS Earth Observation Network (GEONET). Since the CLAS service begun on November 1, 2018, users with dedicated receivers can perform cm-level precise positioning using CSSR corrections. In this paper, CLAS-based VRS-RTK performance evaluation was performed using Global Positioning System (GPS) observables collected from the refence station, TSK2, located in Japan. As a result of performing GPS-only RTK positioning using the open-source software CLASLIB and RTKLIB, it took about 15 minutes to resolve the carrier-phase ambiguities, and the RTK fix rate was only about 41%. Also, the Root Mean Squares (RMS) values of position errors (fixed only) are about 4cm horizontally and 7 cm vertically.

  • With the development of communication technologies and smartphone, requirements of positioning accuracy for LBS (Location Based Service) are becoming increasingly important. LBS is a service which offers the information or entertainment based on a location to users. Therefore, positioning is very important for LBS. Among many positioning methods, IEEE 802.11 WLAN positioning measures the distance using the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) attenuation log model. Thus in order to enhance positioning, we modify the IEEE 802.11 RSSI attenuation log model by adaptive weighting method. In this paper, we propose improved IEEE 802.11 RSSI attenuation log model for enhanced indoor positioning.

Short-range Visible Light Positioning Based on Angle of Arrival for Smart Indoor Service

  • In visible light (VL) positioning based on angle of arrival (AOA) estimation for smart indoor service, the AOA parameters obtained at the receiver has sometimes a random and distributed angle form instead of a point angle form due to the multipath transfer of the actual visible light and short positioning distance. The AOA estimation of a VL signal with a random and parametric distributed angle form may give incorrect AOA parameter estimates, which may result in poor VL positioning performance. In this paper, we classify the AOA parameters of the received VL signal into three forms according to the actual positioning channel environment and consider the short-range VL positioning method. We propose a subspace-based AOA parameter estimation technique and a data fusion method, and analyzed the proposed method by simulation and the measurement of the real VL channel characteristics.

  • 위치기반 서비스는 일상생활에서도 널리 이용되는 매우 편리한 서비스임으로 GPS 신호가 잡히지 않는 빌딩, 대형상가, 지하상가와 같은 건물 내부에서도 제공되어야 한다. 이처럼 건물 내부에서 제공되는 위치기반 서비스를 옥내 위치기반 서비스라 하는데, 옥내 위치기반 서비스 개발에 있어서 가장 중요한 기술은 옥내측위이다. 옥내측위 방법 중 가장 범용성이 있는 것은 무선근거리통신망의 공유기 신호를 이용하는 것이다. 한편, 근래에는 웹 서비스가 뛰어난 소프트웨어 재사용 기술로 판명되고 있다. 따라서 옥내측위가 웹 서비스로 프로그램 개발자에게 제공된다면 옥내 위치기반 서비스의 실용화를 크게 촉진할 것이다. 본 논문은 공유기 신호를 이용한 삼각측량 및 K-NN 옥내측위 서비스와 RFID를 이용한 옥내측위 서비스를 제공하는 웹 서비스 구현 사례를 소개한다.

Establishing Required LOD and Positioning Accuracy for Indoor Spatial Information Applications in Public Administrative Works

  • Due to the large size and high complexity of modern buildings, the interest and the studies about indoor spatial information are increasing. Previous studies related to indoor spatial information were mostly about relevant technologies, and the application of indoor spatial information has been less studied. In the present study, the public administrative work areas where indoor spatial information may be applied were identified by using a modified delphi technique. And the indoor LOD (Level of Detail) and indoor positioning accuracy for indoor spatial information applications considering user requirements was established as standards for efficiently establishing and providing services. The required LOD and positioning accuracy for services was established by reestablishing indoor LOD and positioning accuracy and classifying services with reference to those. The indoor LOD was reestablished from LOD 0 to 4 by focusing on service utilization and general recognition, and the positioning accuracy was reestablished in three levels by considering the accuracy of the present positioning technology and service utilization status.
