VHF-DSC 위치요청 프로토콜 분석과 선박관제시스템 구축 (The Construction of the Vessel Monitoring System and the Protocol Analysis for the Calling of Location Requirement Using VHF-DSC)

  • 선박안전법과 어선법 개정에 따른 어선의 VHF(Very High Frequency) 무선설비와 위치자동발신장치 설치 의무화에 대비하여 수협중앙회 어업정보통신국에서는 VHF통신망과 어선관제를 위한 위치자동발신장치 시스템을 구축하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 DSC(Digital Selective Calling) 기능을 이용한 위치요청 호출의 프로토콜 분석과 선박위치 추적에 대한 최적의 방안을 제시한다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 어선관제시스템 구현과 모니터링 방법에 대한 기술을 제시한다.

땅강아지의 주음성에 관한 연구 (Phonotaxis of the African Mole Cricket, Gryllotalpa africana Palisot de Beauvois)

  • 경기도 화성군 소재 한국인삼연초연구소 경작시험장 내에서 1990년과 1992년에 땅강아지(Gryllotalpa africana)의 주음성을 조사하였다. 웅성충은 지표 밑 굴의 입구로부터 유인음을 냈은데 강도는 입구 15 cm 위에서 77~80 dB 이었다. 녹음된 웅충 유인음이 직경 1.4m의 funnel중앙에 설치된 2개의 horn speaker에 의해 105~110 dB 로 증폭하여 야외에서 방사되었을 때 비상 성충이 일몰 후 약 30분부터 1.5시간 동안 유인되었다. 유인성충들 중, 14.3~16.7%는 funnel안에, 65.7~74.7%는 발음원으로부터 2 m 이내에 지면에 착지하였다. 자충률은 66.7~74.3%였는데, 이는 야외 개최군의 성비에 기인하는 것으로 보였다. funnel 안과 그 중심에서 2m 이내의 거리에 착지하는 성층수는 blacklight trap에 유인된 성층수보다 다소 많은 경향을 보였다.

암 유전자 배열에서 체세포 돌연변이 발견을 위한 유전자형 조사 시스템 (Genotype-Calling System for Somatic Mutation Discovery in Cancer Genome Sequence)

  • 차세대 시퀀싱(NGS)은 암에서 전사체 싱글 뉴클레오티드 변형 발견과 모든 지놈 발견을 가능하게 한다. 어느 한 위치에서 배열된 다수의 짧은 리드 시퀀스로부터 개인의 유전자형을 결정하는 가장 기초적인 방법이다. Byesian 알고리즘은 사후 유전자형 확률을 사용하여 파라미터 추정한다. 또 다른 방법인 EM 알고리즘은 최대 가능성 추정 방법을 사용해서 관측된 데이터에서 파라미터를 추정한다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 유전자형 조사 시스템을 제안하고 시퀀싱 에러 비율과 체세포 돌연 변이 상태 그리고 유전자형 확률의 사후 추정치에 관한 샘플 크기(S = 50, 100, 500)의 영향을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 작은 샘플 크기 50에서도 Byesian 알고리즘을 사용하여 추정한 파라미터가 EM 알고리즘 보다 더 정확하게 실제 파라미터에 근접하였다.

Optimization Analysis of the Shape and Position of a Submerged Breakwater for Improving Floating Body Stability

  • Submerged breakwaters can be installed underneath floating structures to reduce the external wave loads acting on the structure. The objective of this study was to establish an optimization analysis framework to determine the corresponding shape and position of the submerged breakwater that can minimize or maximize the external forces acting on the floating structure. A two-dimensional frequency-domain boundary element method (FD-BEM) based on the linear potential theory was developed to perform the hydrodynamic analysis. A metaheuristic algorithm, the advanced particle swarm optimization, was newly coupled to the FD-BEM to perform the optimization analysis. The optimization analysis process was performed by calling FD-BEM for each generation, performing a numerical analysis of the design variables of each particle, and updating the design variables using the collected results. The results of the optimization analysis showed that the height of the submerged breakwater has a significant effect on the surface piercing body and that there is a specific area and position with an optimal value. In this study, the optimal values of the shape and position of a single submerged breakwater were determined and analyzed so that the external force acting on a surface piercing body was minimum or maximum.

청구보증상 지급메커니즘에 따른 실무상 유의점 (A Study on the Payment Mechanism of Independent Guarantee -focusing on matters that the relevant parties involved should know-)

  • Independent guarantee is a creation of the need from the both sides, i.e. the applicant (principal debtor) and the beneficiary (creditor). The former used to have to deposit cash in favor of the beneficiary in case of his default, which laid a burden on his liquidity while the latter still wanted to have the equivalent to cash. Independent guarantee satisfied the both parties by freeing the applicant of a deposit and maintaining the beneficiary's right at the same time. The fact that independent guarantee has three payment mechanisms is not widely known to the public. They are (i) payment on first demand, (ii) payment upon submission of third-party documents, (iii) payment upon submission of an arbitral or court decision. From the applicant's point of view, the order in his favor is (iii), followed by (ii) and (i). As there shouldn't be a case where one party is at a disadvantage against the other, useful insight is being sought for the benefit of the applicant. First, the applicant can offer his intention to provide a payment mechanism (ii) or (iii) rather than (i) if he must deliver it. Second, if the beneficiary still wants to have (i) and the applicant is in a position not to reject it, the latter should thoroughly check any provisions that may work against him later. Third, the applicant could use counterbalancing provisions in underlying contract to cope with protective clauses in the guarantees. Forth, the applicant should review the beneficiary's sincerity to prevent unfair calling risks. The applicant may use an ECA(Export Credit Agency) in his country to which he can transfer not only unfair calling risks, but also political risks. On the other hand, a bank needs to keep the following advice in mind. The foremost important thing for the bank not to forget is that it provides a guarantee as a service provider, not as a responsible party for the feasibility of the project, etc. Credit risk of the applicant should require the greatest attention when issuing a guarantee: the bank should look into the possibility that it can procure immediate reimbursement from its customers after payment to the beneficiary. Second, the applicant's ability to complete the project should be reviewed by checking its track records, techniques and reputation, etc. Third, the bank may also use an ECA to cover the beneficiary's unfair calling risks as well as political risks. In the case of Korea, as Korea Export Insurance Corporation(KEIC) can cover all the risks mentioned above, the bank could use its service called 'Export Bond Insurance.' What's better for the bank is that ECA cover can enhance the bank's asset quality by putting it zero on its risk weighted asset.

소방용 AVL 시스템 개발 (Development of an AVL System for Fire Fighting Services)

  • 무선 통신과 모바일 단말기의 발달로 언제 어디서든 무선 통신을 할 수 있게 되었다. 이로 인하여 AVL 시스템의 활용의 폭이 넓어져 상황관제, 물류관리, 택배, 택시, ITS(Intelligent Transportation Systems) 등에 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 구조, 구급 등과 같은 소방 활동에서 활용하기 위한 AVL 시스템을 설계 및 구현하고자 한다. 세부적으로 AVL 관련 기존 연구 및 시스템을 분석한 후에 긴급구조, 구급에 이용할 수 있는 AVL 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 AVL 서버와 클라이언트를 구현하여 무선 통신을 이용하여 서버와 클라이언트의 안정적인 통신을 실현하고자 한다. 그리고 AVL 시스템을 이용하여 출동차량이 신속하게 재난 위치까지 찾아갈 수 있도록 설계하며, 차량의 위치정보를 이용하여 본부 상황실에서 차량 위치를 실시간으로 확인하여 효율적인 관제가 이루어질 수 있도록 개발한다.

Automatic Offside Judgement System based on Position Information in a Soccer Game

  • Strangely enough, there has not been much effort in applying the latest technologies to help referees make accurate calls in a soccer game compared to other sports. Modern soccer tries to apply VAR (Video Assistant Referee) technology to correct inaccurate calls such as an offside, but this is being put off due to the fact that real time decision-making cannot be carried out by using this technology. This has led this study to decide developing a device that will accurately identify offsides on a real time basis using various latest sensors and related technologies. This device will aid referees in calling offsides in a soccer match.

  • Social Evolution was the most influential idea in modern China. Chinese intellectuals, who had made the survival of their country and people a top priority in the face of threats from Western powers, accepted the theory of social evolution as an idea calling for national unity. For Liang Qi chao, the theory of social evolution was a reason to raise the modern nation-state and the new people, along with the need for reform. This article examines that philosophical content and meaning modern Chinese social evolution has around his concept of "nation". His ideas, which are regarded as the origin of Asian nationalism, reflect his belief in and will toward a nation-state, and occupy a unique position in the political history of modern China.

The Effects of Corporate Social Responsibility on Job Performance: Moderating Effects of Authentic Leadership and Meaningfulness of Work

  • The study aims to investigate methods for companies to contribute to not only social and national developments, but also on the promotion of individuals and companies by re-examining the various phenomena that define companies. The study examines the relationship between subordinate factors of social responsibility activities and job performances as well as the role of CEOs in showing authentic leadership and meaningfulness of work. A total of 312 valid questionnaires were obtained, and hypotheses were tested using regression analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and 3-way interactions. The results suggest that corporate social responsibility activities not only enhanced the performance of the members, but also confirmed the importance of the authentic leadership of the CEO. Additionally, the role of the members in the company also showed to play a very significant role in a company's developments. The results also show that the CEO and members need to make efforts to increase ethics as well as gain more competitiveness and improve their reputation by promoting their sense of calling and feeling of compassion in the workplace. In other words, the members of the high-ranking book and the members of the relatively low position will have different degrees of information transfer and evaluation of the company policy may be different.

광역에서의 다중로봇 위치인식 기법 (Localization of Multiple Robots in a Wide Area)

  • The multiple block localization method in a wide area for multiple robots using iGS is proposed in this paper. The iGS is developed for the indoor global localization using ultrasonic and RF sensors. To measure the distance between a mobile robot and a beacon, the tag on the mobile robot wakes up one beacon to send out the ultrasonic signal and measures the traveling time from the beacon to the mobile robot. As the number of robots is increased, the sampling time of localization also becomes longer. Note that only one robot can localize its own position calling beacons one by one during each of the sampling interval. This is a severe constraint for the localization of multiple robots in a wide area. This paper proposes an efficient localization algorithm for the multiple robots in a wide area which can be divided into multiple blocks. For a given block, a master beacon is designated to synchronize robots. By the access of the synchronization signal, each beacon in the selected group sends out an ultrasonic signal. When the robots in the block receive the ultrasonic signal, they can calculate their own locations based on the distances to the beacons, which are obtained by the multiplication of flight time and velocity of the ultrasonic signal. The efficiency of the algorithm is verified through the real experiments.
