Expressways mean the primary arterial highways with a high level of efficiency and safety. However, Gyeongbu and Namhae expressways connected with Busan ports are showing travel time delay by increased traffic including the medium/large-sized vehicles of about 20% compared to those of about 13% regardless of the peak periods. This study, thus, intends to analyze lane traffic characteristics in the basic 8-lane segments of the above-mentioned expressways, compute the planning and buffer times based on travel time reliability, find the lane speed showing a higher correlation with planning time between the lane speeds in the basic 8-lane segments, and finally suggest a correlation model for predicting the planning time in expressways.

The fundamental objectives of vessel traffic services (VTS) are the safety of traffic, efficient traffic flow and the protection of marine environment. And the coverge of VTS is used to be within the port and their approaches. It , however, is tend to expand the coverge beyond the radar coverage and the vessel carrying dangerous cargo. Therefore this study aims to investigate the international tendancy of the extended VTS system, and take a field test of using KOREASAT for the extended VTS system in Korean coastal waters. As the results of the test, KOREASAT is proved to be one of the alternatives for extended VTS system.

Generally an urban freeway means a primary arterial which provides road users with a free-flow speed, except for ramp junctions during rush hours. However, most road users suffer from traffic congestion in the basic segments as well as in the ramp junctions of urban freeway during rush hours, because most road users prefer urban freeways to local roads in the urban areas. This study then intends to analyze lane traffic characteristics of urban freeway basic segments having more freight vehicles during rush hours, find the lane showing a high correlation with the segment speed between lane speeds, and finally suggest a segment-speed predictive model by the lane speed of urban freeway basic segments during rush hours.

국내 해양관광은 교통접근성에 의하여 영향을 크게 받고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 광역 교통망 확충에 따른 해양관광 접근성이 개선됨에 필요한 방안을 마련하고자 하였으며, 특히 2018 평창동계올림픽의 성공적 개최와 더불어 강릉선 KTX 개통으로 국내외적으로 주목받고 있는 강원도 지역의 해양관광 수용태세 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

The container throughput of China, after the joining in the WTO, has begun to increase notably. As a result, China is busy building new ports continuously. In accordance with China's situation Korea promote the development plans of ports and marketing strategy to attract the increasing cargo traffics with China, including transhipment cargoes. To build the competition strategy and the panning port for trading cargoes with China, an analysis on origin/destination is necessary. The cargo volume from/to the particular port(Korea/China) and origin/destination of traffic are important factors in the requirement for the port development. Therefore, in the era that trading with China is rapidly increasing, this study is performed to analyze the port's usage of transporting the cargos and the origin/destination of trading cargoes with china. Also this paper suggests to the competitive strategies of Pyungtaek Port to attract cargoes particularly from/to China.

주교각폭이 넓은 교량을 설치하면 선박의 통항 안전성 측면에서는 유리하겠지만, 지형적인 특성이나 경제성 측면 때문에 충분한 항로폭을 확보할 수 없는 경우도 있을 수 있다. 이러한 선박통항 안전성과 경제성간에 트레이드 오프(trade off) 관계가 있는 해상교량을 설치하기 위해서, 선박통항 안전성 면에서 고려되어야 할 요소를 해상교통공학적인 측면에서 조사 $\cdot$검토하고, 그 요소들을 평가하여 교통 흐름을 원활하게 하고 해역의 안전을 보장하기 위한 것이 이 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구에서는 해상교통공학적인 측면에서 해상교량 아래로 통항하는 선박의 안전성을 평가하기 위한 교통요소 중 첫 번째 단계로 통항교통량과 선박 크기를 검토 요소로 하여 주교각폭을 변수로 해상교통류 시뮬레이션 기법을 이용하여 조선 곤란성 측면에서 선박의 크기별로 평가하였다.

중국 경제의 급격하게 성장함에 따라 서해안의 항만들의 중요성 또한 커지고 있다. 중국과 근접한 군산.장항은 지리적 이점과 증가하는 물동량으로 서해 관문항으로서의 역할이 더욱 중요해 지고 있다. 하지만 군장항은 정기항로의 부재, 화주의 특정항 지정 및 타항 대비 물류비 과다 등으로 기업들이 군장항을 이용하지 않고 있으며 이로 인한 국제항로의 부족이 군장항 활성화를 가로막는 저해 요인이다. 본 논문에서는 과거 5년간 발생했던 기종점(O/D)자료를 분석하여 대중국 주요 항만 및 주요 수출입 품목을 살펴보고 군장항 발전 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 여기서 기종점 (Origin-Destination) 분석이라 함은 화물이 어디에서 얼마나 발했는가, 그 화물이 어떤 목적지로 향하는가 또는 어떤 경로를 통해 운송이 되는가를 파악하는 것을 말하다.

Due to the growth of container traffic and port competition, ports have increasingly been under pressure to improve their efficiency in port operation and port management for competitive edge. The purpose of this study is to compare the technical efficiency among major container terminals in China, Korea and Singapore using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). This paper analyses the returns-to-scale using the output orientation of VRS and CRS model. The benefits of this study examining the relative performance of container terminals will enable container terminal operating companies or port policy makers in those countries to identify current slacks and to set up a proper port management and operation plan to improve their productivity.

지금까지의 해상교통관제시스템(Vessel Traffic System: VTS)에서 관제를 수행함에 있어서 관제사들이 확인할 수 있는 선박에 대한 정보는 AIS(Automatic Identification System) 정보에 한정적이었다. 하지만 선박에서 전달받는 AIS 정적 정보는 한정적이며, 정확성 역시 신뢰할 수 없을 경우가 많은 실정이다. 그래서 관제사들은 선박의 정확한 정보 확인을 위해서 항만운영시스템(Port-MIS)에 별도로 접속하여 해당 선박에 대한 정보를 조회하여 활용하는 상황이다. 현재 ETRI에서는 Single Windows 개념을 적용한 차세대 해상교통관제시스템을 개발하면서 관제사들의 편의성 제공을 위해 추가적인 Port-MIS의 연동 없이 관제 화면을 통해 관제중인 선박에 대한 Port-MIS 정보를 조회하여 현시할 수 있도록 개발하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 관제사들의 VTS 현시용 선박 정보 필드에 대한 요구사항을 도출하고, 이를 제공하기 위한 시스템 설계 구조에 대해서도 기술한다.

국제 지침에 의한 VTS의 기능 중 TOS(Traffic Organisation Service)의 기능에 대한 현 상황을 고찰해보고 체계적인 관제 통계 관리를 위해 VTS 관제 자료에 대한 DB(Data Base)의 필요성을 마산 VTS의 사례를 들어 제언하고자 합니다.
