The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of absolute / relative poverty on the life satisfaction focusing on mediation effect of subjective social status by type of elderly residents. In order to analyze the distinct characteristics of the elderly, analysis was conducted with 3,327 the elderly living together and 668 the elderly living alone using 'Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing(KLoSA)' from 3rd to 5th wave data provided by the Korea Employment Information Service. The main analysis results are as follows. First, each poverty rate for the elderly living together accounted for 43.5 percent and 51.4 percent, while 63.8 percent and 77.2 percent for the elderly living alone respectively. Second, life satisfaction was higher among the elderly living together than living alone, However, life satisfaction was not related to condition of poverty among the elderly living alone. Third, absolute / relative poverty were associated with life satisfaction of the elderly living together, and subjective social status had a mediating effect. However, relative poverty was not related to life satisfaction among the elderly living alone, which indicated that it needs to support not only the financial approach to overcome absolute poverty but also the multi-dimensional poverty perspective in the intervention of the elderly living alone Based on the results, the study suggested to make a tool to measure of poverty using multi-dimensional poverty indicators.
Temperature and weather are all around us, quite literally. Furthermore, temperature and weather not only permeate our atmosphere, constantly affecting our visceral states of warmth and coldness, but they metaphorically permeate our language. People, products, and ideas can all be "hot" or "cold." Given this ubiquity, it is perhaps surprising that relatively little research has systematically examined the influence of temperature on choice and judgment. Temperature-related words such as "hot" and "cold" are often used to describe impulsive and calculated behaviors, respectively. These metaphoric connotations of thermal concepts raise the question as to whether temperature, psychological states and decision making are related to each other, and if so, how. The current research examines these questions and finds support for a relationship. Across one field study and one laboratory experiment, I demonstrate that both hot ambient room temperature (Spa) and hot temperature primes (words) trigger decision outcomes in line with the metaphoric association between hot temperature and impulsivity. In the field study, participants were recruited in hot (40-50 degrees Celsius) and cold (10 degrees Celsius) rooms at a spa. Participants were simply asked to indicate their willingness-to-pay (WTP) for three product categories (travel package, birthday dinner, and cell phone). The results showed that participants in the hot room in comparison to those in the cold room were willing to pay more for the same products. Next, I tested if our results would go beyond ambient temperature and would hold if I were to prime temperature concepts by using a different priming method (i.e., subliminal vs. supraliminal). In line with the previous findings in the spa, participants in the hot priming condition were more likely to choose the wrong answer for the bat and baseball question than those in the cold priming condition. In addition, product type (e.g., pleasure vs. necessity) can moderate the effect of hot temperature on impulsivity. Mood and arousal did not mediate participants' responses. My findings seem to suggest that the effects of temperature on decision outcomes can be attributed to metaphoric associations rather than incidental mood or arousal. The current research applies a novel perspective in understanding the relationship between temperature and judgment and decision making. Also, the results have practical implications for packaging, advertising, merchandising, and pricing of goods and services, as well as for public policy and awareness. One of the most natural implications of my findings would be that retailers would be better off carrying more impulse purchase items on hot days. Furthermore, point-of-purchase promotions encouraging impulse purchase is more likely to be effective in retail environments with higher temperature than with lower temperature. In addition, advertisements and product packages evoking hot temperature associations (e.g., beach, sunshine, summer) might lead consumers to pay higher price for the advertised product than those with cold temperature associations.
The purpose of this study is to closely examine causality on the married-working women's depression. For this, the analytical materials were used the primary Seoul Metropolis Welfare Panel survey data. 507 married-working women in their 20s~50s were selected among survey subjects of Seoul Metropolis Welfare Panel data. The analytical method was used the structural equation model. As a result of analysis, it could be known that the path of perfect mediating effect in depression was formed after passing through the benefits satisfaction and the marital happiness from gender role attitude in the married-working women and that the benefits satisfaction has the partial mediating effect between depression and marital happiness. Suggesting a plan for getting rid of depression in the married-working women based on the results of this study, first of all, the married-working women's depression is greatly accredited to what our society regards domestic work yet as woman's role. Thus, the policy-based measure is demanded that can support for working women to be possibly compatible in work and family life and that can induce men's participation in household affairs and child-rearing in such context. Second, it was indicated that the more the married-working women adhere strictly to the gender role attitude of traditionalism, the lower result the marital happiness and benefits satisfaction have. Considering this, a plan for activating welfare system and family-friendly system is demanded that can change gender role value in traditionalism, which is being left in our society. Third, to promote marital happiness that has great influence upon the married-working women's depression, there is a need of seeking a plan, which further intensifies the family services including the marital education and the parent education.
This study examines the current status of smart manufacturing innovation policies in Germany and Korea, compares and analyzes the supply industry strategies of both countries, and suggests the direction for Korea's smart manufacturing innovation supply industry. Germany's supply industry strategy aims to strengthen the market dominance of domestic suppliers through high technology, compatibility, and high reliability based on reference for global demanding companies. On the other hand, the Korea's supply industry strategy remains at the level improvement of the demanding companies by stage, so it is time to take a long-term and consistent response with the goal of implementing smartization at the advanced level. By referring to Germany's supply industry strategy for the advancement of smart factories, it was intended to help in establishing government support policies and supplier strategies. In addition, based on the analysis results of the supply industry strategies of both countries, improvement measures for the advancement of Korea's smart factories were presented. Ultimately, the contents of this study can be used as basic data for policy establishment to strengthen the industrial competitiveness of Korea's small and medium-sized suppliers.
Recently, with the development of artificial intelligence technology, many technologies for user convenience are being developed. Among them, interest in autonomous vehicles is increasing day by day. Currently, many automobile companies are aiming to commercialize autonomous vehicles. In order to lay the foundation for the government's new and reasonable policy establishment to support commercialization, we tried to analyze changes and perceptions of public opinion through news article data. Therefore, in this paper, 35,891 news article data mentioning terms similar to 'autonomous vehicles' over the past three years were collected and network analyzed. As a result of the analysis, major keywords such as 'autonomous driving', 'AI', 'future', 'Hyundai Motor', 'autonomous driving vehicle', 'automobile', 'industrial', and 'electric vehicle' were derived. In addition, the autonomous vehicle industry is developing into a faster and more diverse platform and service industry by converging with various industries such as semiconductor companies and big tech companies as well as automobile companies and is paying attention to the convergence of industries. To continuously confirm changes and perceptions in public opinion, it is necessary to analyze perceptions through continuous analysis of SNS data or technology trends.

The operating regulations of the undergraduate co-op amended and announced on July 6, 2021 aim to enhance the quality of co-op and improve student rights through the standardized operation. However, among the revisions, 75% of the minimum wage and up to 25% of job training are acting as great difficulties in corporate participation in the co-op. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to review the concept of the co-op and the main contents of the revision of the Ministry of Education's operating regulations, and to examine companies' perceptions and responses. As a result of the study, some companies were not aware of the revision of the notice in detail. In addition, the revisions related to the training support fee was found to be the biggest concern among the corporates, and the burden of job training also existed among the corporates. Based on the research results, policy improvement directions were discussed, and the implications and limitations of this study were also suggested.
This study aims to establish an evaluation model by quantifying the evaluation index as a follow-up study to the development of evaluation index for work-study parallel learning companies. An evaluation model was established by verifying the 2nd level components based on the quantitative factors of the learning company, the qualitative factors, the competency factors of the person in charge, and the competency factors of the learning workers, which are the highest-level components derived from previous study. For the evaluation of a learning company, an AHP survey was conducted with experts in charge of the company consulting to derive important factors that determine the quality of on-site education and training, and the evaluation model of the learning company was completed and grouped by calculating the weight between evaluation items proceeded. Work-study parallel program was promoted as a key policy to resolve the mismatch between industrial sites and school education and realize a competency-centered society, and as of December 2022, 16,664 companies participated in the training. Learning companies play a very important role as education and training supply organizations that conduct field training. It is expected that the support and consulting plan for each level of learning companies according to the evaluation model presented in this study will be used as basic data to improve the quality of work-study parallel program.
ASEAN is emerging as the next-generation market following BRICs. Korea is also an important economic cooperation partner as a second trading partner and third target for overseas investment. ASEAN is attracting attention as an attractive business place for many companies as a future investment area in the future. Therefore, the Korean government is strongly promoting a "New Southern Policy(NSP)" to develop cooperative relations with ASEAN. As ASEAN has recently emerged as a central area for shipping and logistics development, development cooperation and support for the shipping and logistics sector in the ASEAN region of neighboring countries are also active in entering the new southern region and the government is supporting it. In order to enter these countries, it is necessary to accurately understand the investment attraction system, strategy, and market for entering the business in other countries. Among the various methods of entering the overseas market, it is essential to understand the business selection and establishment method suitable for localization strategies such as foreign direct investment and establishment of foreign corporations. In order to understand the Overseas Investment Act and the Corporate Establishment Act of shipping and logistics-related companies who want to enter marine ASEAN countries, we will study the overseas investment method and the establishment method according to the type of company.
Estuarine wetlands, which form a distinctive brackish water zone, serve as important habitats for organisms that have adapted to and thrive in this environment. Nonetheless, excessive development and utilization result in artificial disruptions that alter the distinctive functions and attributes of estuarine wetlands. To collect the basic data for the conservation of estuarine wetlands with excellent ecosystems, we investigated the vegetation distribution characteristics and biota status of the Taehwagang River Estuarine Wetland. Data from vegetation surveys have shown that 25 plant communities of six physiognomic vegetation types, including willow vegetation, lotic and lentic herbaceous vegetation, floating/submerged vegetation. In the upper reaches, where topographical diversity was high, various types of wetland vegetation were distributed. In terms of biodiversity, a total of 696 species, including 7 endangered wildlife species, were identified. Due to good ecological connectivity, tidal rivers are formed, brackish water species including various functional groups are distributed around this section. The inhabitation of various water birds, such as diving and dabbler ducks, were confirmed according to the aquatic environment of each river section. The collection of ecological information of the Taehwagang River Estuarine Wetland can be used as a framework for establishing the basis for conservation and management of the estuarine ecosystem and support policy establishment.

Satellite-derived data is collected by observing the Earth and is used in various fields such as national defense, natural disasters, location-based services, infrastructure, environment, energy, marine, and insurance. This study aims to present the virtuous cycle structure of the satellite information data industry and the business ecosystem model of the industry. As a research method, cases were collected and categorized from the following areas: literature, online, application, and content. The results show that the ecosystem model of the satellite information data industry provides an approach to content services in public and commercial areas, and develops various algorithmic technologies to facilitate content production and services at the level of complex general-purpose technologies. Second, in terms of content typology, satellite information data can be subdivided into monitoring content, urban space monitoring content, and satellite information content. Third, the consumption value of satellite content could be subdivided into informational value, environmental, social and governance (ESG) value, educational value, and content value. In order to expand the global content market, Korea will need to focus on creating an ecosystem for the satellite information industry and discovering differentiated content. It will also need to increase the popularization and accessibility of data to the general public and promote the Korean K-Satellite Information Data Industry ecosystem through government support, policy efforts, and policies such as establishing legal systems, increasing investment, and training human resources.
