The purpose of this study was to see the effects of a learning method of the multiplication play activities on improving the mathematical thinking ability and mathematical attitude of 2nd grade students in elementary school. We chose 19 students of the 2nd grade experimental group of D elementary school in the D city to conduct this research. The result of this study are as follows. First, Classes using multiplicative play activities have a positive effect on students' mathematical thinking ability. When analyzing transcripts and activities, students were able to think of strategies that could solve the problem according to the situation. Second, Classes using multiplicative play activities, in result of this they have positive effect mathematical attitude than using textbook in terms of attitude about mathematical subject and habits of study. In conclusion, the multiplication play activities are effective to improve mathematical thinking ability and attitude of second elementary school students. It can be a implication for the method of improving mathematical thinking ability and attitude.

Purpose: Despite numerous evidence based preventive strategies of ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) have been introduced, the incidence rate of VAP continues in an unacceptable range. The purposes of this review were to identify risk factors and diagnosis of VAP and to introduce current evidence based preventive strategies of VAP. Methods: A comprehensive literature search using keywords, including ventilator associated pneumonia were entered into a search engine. A number of highly pertinent papers relevant to the purpose of the review were identified. The papers that discussed specific preventive strategies of VAP were selected for analysis and inclusion in this review. Results: A number of evidence based preventive strategies that nurses can implement in their clinical practice to prevent VAP were identified. Such strategies include hand washing, use of protective gloves and gowns, oral care, stress ulcer prophylaxis, avoidance of unnecessary intubation, weaning protocol, sedation vacation, use of non-invasive ventilation, semi-recumbent position, continuous aspiration of subglottic secretions, and maintenance of proper endotracheal tube cuff pressure. Staff education is essential in preventing VAP. Conclusion: Preventive strategies of VAP should be applied to daily nursing care and each critical nurse should play a functional role in preventing VAP.

This study examined relations between infants' strategies for emotional regulation and maternal responsiveness. Fifty 24-month-olds were observed for six kinds of emotional regulation strategy during four negative emotion-eliciting tasks; their mothers were observed for five styles of maternal responsiveness during toy-centered free play. Infants used different strategies according to the kinds of negative emotioneliciting tasks; their strategies correlated with maternal responsive styles. In the anger-eliciting tasks, infants used "distraction" and "self soothing." In the fear-eliciting tasks, they used "avoidance" and "problem solving." Infants who received more negative feedback from their mothers used the "irritation" strategy. Infants who got received more positive feedback from their mother used the "getting reference" strategy.

The purpose of this study was to interpret relational aggression strategies in 4 year old young children's interactions in 'Sansae class' in terms of two-fold dimensions of proactivity and reactivity. Following an ethnographical approach, participative observation on young children and in-depth interviews with the teacher were employed, over the course of 30 sessions of 3 hours duration. The results are as follows; proactive relational aggression was more frequently observed in girls, and their major strategies employed against someone they disliked were ignoring them, distorting play-rules, and so on. Major strategies of reactive relational aggression in girls were largely manipulative in nature, for example, 'threatening their friend' and 'withdrawal of friendship'.

This study tried to explore and understand the meaning, and the properties of noticing. The result of this study were first, the difference in mathematical noticing is distinguished in either the object which is paid attention is different or the object is same but differently interpreted or react. The cause of each difference could be described as mathematical objects such as conceptual objects and perceptual features. Second, teachers' teaching strategies, which narrow the gap in attention and play a key role in the formation of mathematical meaning, appeared in various places. This teaching strategy was implemented to distract students' attention. This study confirmed that the mathematical attention of teachers and students in math classes will differ depending on the object to which they pay attention, and that difference will be narrowed through teacher's discourse practice and teaching strategies through communication strategies.

Self-care to prevent cancer and self-management to cope with the disease are two discrete effective mechanisms for improving of control and management of neoplasia. Both them have certain strategies and practices. Often the two are used interchangeably despite their different approaches. Strategies of self-care usually refer to prevention at different levels include primary, secondary and tertiary. In contrast, strategies of self-management are related to management and alleviation of unpleasant cancer-related symptoms and treatment-related side effects for improving the quality of life of cancer survivors. Successful promoting of self-care and self-management strategies need people and survivor empowerment. Within this context, innovative approaches open a new window. In this paper after a brief review of related strategies and practices, we provide an explanation of how cancer portals may play an important role in the empowerment process and what are key potentials for implementing of self-care and self-management strategies for cancer.

본 연구에서는 롤플레이 게임(Role-play Game) 개념을 차용한 역할연기발표(Role-play Presentation) 기법을 적용하여 미래 교육에서 인간 교사-인공지능 교사 간의 상호작용성에 대한 교사의 인식과 기대감을 시각화함으로써 교사들의 협업과정에서 성과 있는 토론활동을 수행할 수 있도록 하였다. 분석 결과 교사는 수업 상황에서 인간 교사가 수업의 주도권과 학생과의 상호작용 활성화를 전제로 수업의 질적 향상과 개별학습을 지원할 수 있는 보조 도구로써의 인공지능 교사의 상호작용 요인들을 제안하고 있었다.

Purpose: An evaluation of Uzbekistan's steps towards competitiveness for FDI globally is presented in this paper. Specifically, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the case of Uzbekistan, and to determine the strategies that can be implemented to increase the competitiveness in attracting foreign investment. Research design, data and methodology: To investigate the FDI environment and identify effective strategies, Global RPM and QSPM analyses were conducted in addition to in-depth interviews with experts. In particular, this study uses the method of Global RPM analysis to make a comprehensive evaluation and analysis on globalization, rationality, and professionalism and morality dimensions of FDI in Uzbekistan. Results: According to the analysis, the conditions of political situation, financial stability, legal frameworks, as well as economic environment of the country play a significant role in bringing in FDIs from abroad. Moreover, based on the results, Uzbekistan scored lowest on globalization, indicating that the country has a low level of integration and openness to the global economy and society. Conclusions: Uzbekistan can boost its productive capacity and GDP growth with FDI, but it has to overcome many structural and logistical obstacles. Furthermore, adhering to the chosen strategies, policymakers can leverage FDI to stimulate economic growth, leading to the generation of new jobs and expanded opportunities in Uzbekistan.

There has been an explosion of literature focusing on the role of regulatory T (Treg) cells in cancer immunity. It is becoming increasingly clear that Treg cells play an active and significant role in the progression of cancer, and have an important role in suppressing tumor-specific immunity. Thus, there is a clear rationale for developing clinical strategies to diminish their regulatory influences, with the ultimate goal of augmenting antitimor immunity. Therefore, manipulation of Treg cells represent new strategies for cancer treatment. In this Review, I will summarize and review the explosive recent studies demonstrating that Treg cells are increased in patients with malignancies and restoration of antitumor immunity in mice and humans by depletion or reduction of Treg cells. In addition, I will discuss both the prognostic value of Treg cells in tumor progression in tumor-bearing hosts and the rationale for strategies for therapeutic vaccination and immunotherapeutic targeting of Treg cells with drugs and microRNA.

The tourist industry is expecially one of the successful areas for the application of electronic commerce because it is an information-intensive and consumer-oriented industry where information and services play a large part in transaction processes. A electronic tourism market which integrates tourist information systems, reservation systems, and real-time broadcasting systems based on the Internet Web was developed by a collaborative team of Dongguk University and Daou Tech. Inc. with sponsorship of Kyongbuk province and Minister of Information Communications of Korea. Based on the development case of the system, this paper proposes development and operations strategies of electronic market in the tourist industry. The paper reviews the development strategies in the perspective of potential travelers, technology, cooperation among players, and development methodology. The paper also discusses strategies which are able to be employed as the guideline in order to operate the system.
