플롯과 캐릭터, 주제(사상)는 극을 구성하는 가장 기본적인 요소이다. 드라마의 구조가 공고할수록 이 세 가지 요소들은 서로 긴밀하게 작용해 내러티브를 형성한다. 이 중에서 플롯은 사건과 캐릭터를 연결시키며 주제를 드러내는 가장 중요한 요소라 여겨진다. 그러나 시나리오 창작 단계에서 작가들은 이러한 플롯의 역학을 조절하는데 흥미를 잃을 때가 많다. 관객들이 플롯에 비해 영화의 인상적인 장면이나 사건, 그리고 캐릭터들에 더 집중하고 매력을 느낀다는 판단 때문이다. 그러므로 짜임새 있는 드라마 플롯 구축을 위한 워크숍은 캐릭터의 생각과 목소리를 읽어내는 것에서부터 시작하는 것이 바람직하다. 주요 캐릭터들을 중심으로 영화 시작 전의 이야기를 고안해 보고, 안타고니스트(antagonist)의 시점으로 스토리의 아우트라인(outline)을 꼼꼼히 재점검해보는 것이 필요하다. 이러한 훈련들을 통해 작가와 감독들은 어느 인물을 주인공(protagonist)으로 선택해야 관객들의 호기심을 효율적으로 자극하고 인상적인 절정과 결말에 이를 수 있는지 확신을 얻게 되고, 영화의 실제 장면에 드러나지 않은 캐릭터 행동의 동기와 목적을 구체적으로 인지해 사건의 개연성과 그럴듯함(plausibility)을 획득할 수 있다.

본 연구에서는 Dempster-Shafer evidence theory에 기반하여 Gaussian 질량 함수를 사용하는 융합 기법을 제안하고 있다. Dempster-Shafer 융합은 비정확성과 불확실성 measures를 각각 belief 함수와 plausibility 함수로 나타내며 이 두 함수 값 사이의 간격을 나타내는 "belief interval"에 의해 불확실성의 정도가 표현된다. 이러한 Dempster-Shafer 융합기술을 이용하여 서로 다른 센서에서 수집된 영상 자료를 융합하여 사용하여 분류 결과의 정확성을 높이고 특히 분류를 위한 매개변수를 추정하는 훈련과정에서 복합 클래스를 설정할 수 있어 단순 클래스 설정으로 인한 훈련과정이 어려움을 피할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 경기도 용인/능평 지역에서 관측 된 KOMPSAT EOC의 범색 영상 자료와 LANDSAT ETM+의 식생지수 자료에 대해 제안된 Dempster-Shafer 융합기술을 이용하여 분류 실험을 수행하였고 분류 결과는 서로 다른 센서간의 영상자료 융합을 위한 제안된 기법의 잠재적 효과성을 보여주고 있다.

Measures of two types of uncertainty that coexist in the Dempster-Shafer theory are overivewed. A measure of one type of uncertainty, which expresses nonspecificity of evidential claims, is well justified on both intuitive and mathermatical grounds. Proposed measures of the other types of uncertainty, which attempt to capture conflicts among evidential claims, are shown to have some deficiencies. To alleviate these deficiencies, a new measure is proposed. This measure, which is called a measure of discord, is not only satisfactory on intuitive grounds, but has alos desirable mathematical properties. A measure of total uncertainty, which is defined as the sum of nonspecificity and discord, is also discussed. The paper focuses on conceptual issues. Mathematical properties of the measure of idscord are only stated ; their proofs are given in a companion paper.

In this paper, we designed real time mechanism control language and proposed execution time analysis technique. It was impossible to handle real-time mechanism control programs like programmable controller, numerical controller, distributed control system and robot controller with general purpose programming languages and operating systems because they have to process electric signals generated by thousands of sensors at the same at the same time and in real time. So we made it possible to predict plausibility of time constraint constructs of tiem constraint construct of a real time application program at compilation time by adding time constraint constructs and mechanism synchronization structure to conditional statement and iteration statement of a programming language and developing execution time analysis technique.

As the trend of the automation is increasing, the usage of the programmable automation equipments like programmable controller(PC), numerical controller(NC), distributed control systems(DCS) and robot controller is greatly expanding in the area of the industrial equipments. But the development of the programing language for the programmable automatic equipment is rarely accomplished. In this paper, we propose design and implementation technique of the real-time mechanism control language by adding time constraint constructs and timing analysis constructs ot conditional statement and iteration statement of a programming language. Moreover, we made it possible to predict plausibility of time constraint constructs of a real time application program at compilation time and developing execution time analysiss technique.

인터넷의 발전으로 국경을 초월한 팀간의 국제적 협업도 기술적으로 가능하게 되었다. 그러나 공용어가 아닌 각자의 모국어를 사용하는 경우 인터넷과 자동기계번역 (Machine Translation)을 활용하여 협업이 가능하도록 하기 위하여는 아직도 해결되어야 말 문제가 많다. 특히 자동기계번역은 특정 언어 외의 다양산 언어들간의 번역에서는 아직도 의사소통이 원활하게 이루어지지 않는 수준이다. 본 연구는 상이산 문화적 배경을 가지고 서로 다른 모국어를 사용하는 팀 간의 협업이 현재의 기술 수준으로 어느 정도까지 가능한가 하는 것을, 자동기계번역과 인터넷을 기반으로 고안된 ICSS ([nterrultural Collaboration Support System)를 활용한 실험을 통하여, 시스템과 인간의 상호작용을 중심으로 고찰하고자 하였다.

Neurodegenerative diseases (NDs) often involve the formation of abnormal and toxic protein aggregates, which are thought to be the primary factor in ND occurrence and progression. Aged neurons exhibit marked increases in aggregated protein levels, which can lead to increased cell death in specific brain regions. As no specific drugs/therapies for treating the symptoms or/and progression of NDs are available, obtaining a complete understanding of the mechanism underlying the formation of protein aggregates is needed for designing a novel and efficient removal strategy. Intracellular proteolysis generally involves either the lysosomal or ubiquitin-proteasome system. In this review, we focus on the structure and assembly of the proteasome, proteasome-mediated protein degradation, and the multiple dynamic regulatory mechanisms governing proteasome activity. We also discuss the plausibility of the correlation between changes in proteasome activity and the occurrence of NDs.

The object of this article is to study the plausibility of applying human voice warning system to automobiles. Human voice is considered the best tool for warning system in automobiles. For the purpose of comprehending the specific characteristics of relation between noises and properties of the automobiles indoors and voice warning system researcher performed FRF test in order to examine the characteristics of voice output, and FEM simulation to learn the specific properties of the car indoors. And furthermore, surveyed the quality of voice output, using the written inquiry to examine members. The result of the study shows that it is much possible to apply voice warning system to automobiles.

This study explored the relationship between argumentation and the conceptual change model in a science teacher's explanations. Ten audiotape recordings (about 9 hours) collected in a high school physics classroom were all transcribed. The transcripts were analyzed using the components of Toulmin's argument framework and two constructs of the conceptual change model: the status of a conception, and the conceptual ecology. This analysis reveals that there are dynamic relationships among Toulmin's argument components, the status of a conception, and the conceptual ecology. The episode extracted from the transcripts shows the science teacher's explanations in the flow of classroom discourse, as directed and guided by her, presenting the intelligibility or plausibility of a conception by using warrants or backings such as examples or anomalies, two components of conceptual ecology.

In this paper, we developed the fault diagnostic expert system of silicone-immersed transformer using dissolved gas analysis. The knowledge base module consists of the knowledge using the rule: if Then . The inference engine uses the fuzzy rule for the management of uncertainty of the boundary and rule and derivate the Belief and Plausibility of the normality and fault using Dempster-Shafer theory. The expert system is connected to the database and it can manages the history of gas-data of the transformer.
