  • In order to make a meaningful multi-media object,it is usually necessary to apply a number of non-trival operations. If multi-media data can be encapsulated in a standaridized form and stored in a database,it is poss-ible to share and reuse multi-media data among users without repeating the same or similar operations. Based on the OLE component object model, this paper proposes the integrated computing enviroment for naive user to share and reuse of Ole objects.Various types of multi- media objects that are created by their appropriate OLE application programs can be aggreagated to form a multi-media document. In addition, the OLE objects can also be stored in database by a controlled manner.TheOLE object in a database can be retrieved by a visual query interface and reused to make a new document. This paper describes the common Platform to integrate various ment of OLE appfication programs, the separation process of an OLE object form a document, and the overall management of OLE object in a database.

  • Blockchain can enhance data transparency and security through decentralized data management that is out of the centralized system. permissioned blockchain of the blockchain platform, only trust-based authorized nodes can participate in the distributed network. Considering the characteristics of the permissioned blockchain, it is necessary to consider the network communication speed, transaction finality agreement, and stability as a condition for selecting the consensus algorithm. The consensus algorithms of the permissioned blockchain environment are diverse such as PoA, PBFT, Raft, etc., but there are no various evaluation factors for selecting consensus algorithms. In this paper, various performance evaluation factors are proposed to analyze the characteristics of each consensus algorithm of the permissioned blockchain and to select an efficient consensus algorithm considering the characteristics of the user environment that composes the network. The proposed performance evaluation factor can consider the network speed, stability, and consensus of the finality agreement between nodes under the premise of trust. Through this, a more efficient blockchain network environment can be constructed.

  • Sixth generation will exploit satellite, aerial, and terrestrial platforms jointly to improve radio access capability and unlock the support of on-demand edge cloud services in three-dimensional (3D) space, by incorporating mobile edge computing (MEC) functionalities on aerial platforms and low-orbit satellites. This will extend the MEC support to devices and network elements in the sky and forge a space-borne MEC, enabling intelligent, personalized, and distributed on-demand services. End users will experience the impression of being surrounded by a distributed computer, fulfilling their requests with apparently zero latency. In this paper, we consider an architecture that provides communication, computation, and caching (C3) services on demand, anytime, and everywhere in 3D space, integrating conventional ground (terrestrial) base stations and flying (non-terrestrial) nodes. Given the complexity of the overall network, the C3 resources and management of aerial devices need to be jointly orchestrated via artificial intelligence-based algorithms, exploiting virtualized network functions dynamically deployed in a distributed manner across terrestrial and non-terrestrial nodes.

  • As the recent advances in network and wireless communications and semiconductor design and process technologies, our computing platform is rapidly shifting from desktop PCs to mobile devices such as UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC), Tablet PC, and Smartphone. Especially, wide-spreading Smartphones allow a new field of application based on location based services available with an user interface called augmented reality (AR). Therefore, this paper introduces an implementation of AR using various OpenAPls on Android Smartphones. In order to utilize enrich user data in real time, the system integrates with location based social network services also with OpenAPI. These APIs enable third-party developers to make use of rich contents of many portal web sites. The prototype was implemented on the real Android phone, Sky Sirius, and the result shows that it can provide an efficient location based service using AR technology without any constraints on mobile devices; in addition, it connects SNS to AR for sharing user data including photos, videos, and messages based on a specific location.

  • With the rapid development of media environment and contents production technology, the era of multi-platform convergence transmedia has emerged, and communication method through trans media contents has attracted attention. Transmedia content refers to the concept of translating individual content into multi-platforms, which creates an expanded worldview of convergence. In addition, the interaction generated in this process is very important and difficult to control in the progress of the content. In this paper, we focused on the combination of transmedia content and gamification concept as a solution, and based on the 'MDA framework' which is a theoretical system of analysis and approach for implementing game design, We looked at the structure. It is expected that a review of the fundamental game design structure, which establishes a prediction system of value and fun experiences through the balance of technology and emotions, will be helpful as a basis for designing trans media contents.

  • The stock price reflects people's psychology, and factors affecting the entire stock market include economic growth rate, economic rate, interest rate, trade balance, exchange rate, and currency. The domestic stock market is heavily influenced by the stock index of the United States and neighboring countries on the previous day, and the representative stock indexes are the Dow index, NASDAQ, and S & P500. Recently, research on stock price analysis using stock news has been actively conducted, and research is underway to predict the future based on past time series data through artificial intelligence-based analysis. However, even if the stock market is hit for a short period of time by the forecasting system, the market will no longer move according to the short-term strategy, and it will have to change anew. Therefore, this model monitored Samsung Electronics' stock data and news information through text mining, and presented a predictable model by showing the analyzed results.

  • Energy acquisition due to the increase of oil price is one of the most important issues and policy for most countries. Various tankers have been built in the world and sent to the trade market. It is necessary to build the port infrastructure and facilities to give them proper services such as mooring, packing, storing, and transshipment, etc. However, the domestic guidelines or standards for design and construction for the dolphin berth among these facilities are out of date and do not meet the recent trend of tanker types. Therefore, it requires amendment on the guidelines or standards. In this study, a detailed analysis of the tanker fleet, covering 8,000 ships under operation and order to build, is made to estimate the proper PBL(Parallel Body Length) of each tanker class. After discussion and comparison on the dolphin berth design and construction codes of various countries, those are the leading countries of tanker operation and management, suggestion was made to amend on the design code. The referred codes are of Korea, Japan, UK, USA, and Canada. The analysis of tanker fleet shows the PBL as 0.45L under the normal ballast condition. In order to verify the deduced amendment on the domestic design code for dolphin berth, it was selected one of the domestic dolphin berth, located at the Yeosu oil terminal, which is almost completed to construct. The design criteria and expected tankers to moor in that terminal were analyzed and the appropriateness and countermeasure for deficiency were summarized.
