자율주행 자동차용 전동회전시트 상부회전판의 핫스탬핑 성형에 관한 연구 (Study on Hot Stamping of the Rotating Module Upper Plate for an Autonomous Vehicle Seat)

  • Seats in autonomous vehicles must be able to rotate to fully utilize the interior space. Generally, ultra-high strength steel is used for the rotation module because it should have high strength and high rigidity. In addition, the rotating parts are difficult to form because they have complex shapes. In this study, the upper plate of the rotating module, whose complex shape makes it difficult to form, was formed by applying the hot stamping method. The drawing method and the form-drawing method, which are generally used to form components of complex shapes, were compared. We showed that the form-drawing method increased the degree of freedom of the material flow to improve the formability, thus enabling the forming of the plate. In addition, the die and blank shapes were found to be important factors in determining the success of the hot stamping. The validity of the analysis results was confirmed through forming analysis and experiments.

  • Bi-2212 HTS tube was fabricated by centrifugal forming process(CFP). As a variation of melt casting process(MCP) or centrifugal casting technique, the centrifugal forming process is a flexible method for manufacturing Bi-2212 bulk tubes and has been optimized to achieve smooth surface and uniform thickness. At this process, the slurry was prepared in the mixing ratio of 10:1 between Bi-2212 powder and binder and initially charged into the rotating mold under the speed of 300~450 rpm Heat-treatment was performed at the temperature ranges of 860 ~ $890^{\circ}C$ in air for partial melting. The HTS tube fabricated by centrifugal forming process at $890^{\circ}C$ under the rotating speed of 450 rpm was highly densified and the plate-like grains with more than 20$\mu$m were well oriented along the rotating axis. The measured Tc and Jc at 10K were around 85K and 3,000A/cm2 respectively.

  • Superplastic forming/diffusion bonding(SPF/DB) processes with inner contact were analyzed using a 3-D rigid visco-plastic finite element method. A constant-triangular element based on membrane approximation and an incremental theory of plasticity are employed for the formulation. The hierarchical search algorithm for the contact searching has been applied. The algorithms for contact force processing were designed to handle equally well contact between deformable bodies, as well as rigid bodies. The plate of three and four sheets for 3-D SPF/DB model are analyzed using the developed program. The validity for the analysis is verified by comparison between analysis, experiment and results in the literature.

  • Bi-2212 HTS tube was fabricated by centrifugal forming and partial melting processes. Bi-2212 bulk tube has been optimized to achieve smooth surface and uniform thickness.   • Bi-2212 HTS tube was fabricated by CFP(Centrifugal Forming Process). Slury was prepared in the mixing ratio of 8:2 between powder and binder and ball-milled for 24 hrs. Slurry was initially charged into the rotating mold with 300${\sim}$450 rpm and heated at the temperature ranges of 840${\sim}$860$^{\circ}$C for partial melting to finally obtain a uniformly textured tube shape. It was observed the plate-like grains with more than 20 ${\mu}$m were well oriented along the rotating axis and the measured T$_c$ was around 67K. In this paper we will discuss and analyze the tube characteristics depending on many different processing parameters such as, powder composition, binder mixing ratio between powder and binder, motor speed, heating temperature and etc.

  • High-temperature superconductor of Bi-2212 system was fabricated by CFP(Centrifugal Forming Process). To make a uniform specimen slurry was prepared in the ratio of 7:3(powder : binder) and ball milled for 24 hours. Milled slurry was charged into a rotating mold with 450 rpm and dried at room temperature. Then the specimen was performed binder burn-out at 35$0^{\circ}C$ and heated for partial melting to 86$0^{\circ}C$. XRD analysis of most specimens were shown 2212 phase and observed a local plate shped microstructure with a well aligned c-axis direction from SEM images. Measured T$_{c}$(Critical temperature) was about 64 K.K.

  • For the effective manufacture of doubly curved metal plates, a line array roll set (LARS) process is proposed. The suggested process utilizes a pair of upper and lower symmetric roll assemblies. In the process, the initial plate is progressed into the final shape in a stepwise or pathwise manner according to the basic principle of the incremental forming process. In this work, the intermediate shape which is closest to a final shape is proposed to fabricate the desired shape effectively in design of forming schedule. The intermediate shape has homogeneous curvature in a longitudinal and transverse direction so that it can be fabricated easily without complicated controls of rolls in the roll set. The method of approximation using genetic algorithm is proposed and applied to some actual ship hulls to evaluate the efficiency of the algorithm.

충전형 합성보와 포밍앵글 기둥 접합부의 내진성능에 대한 실험적 평가 (Experimental Evaluation on Seismic Performance of Filled Composite Beam - to - Forming Angle Composite Column Connections)

  • In this study, the seismic performance of connections between filled composite beam (CG beams) and forming angle composite (FAC) column was experimentally evaluated. First, the bending tests were conducted on two CG beams and the axial tests were conducted on two FAC columns. Then, based on these preliminary test results, the cyclic loading test were performed on two interior connections between CG beam and FAC column. The main difference of two specimens is the plate shape of the CG beam. The test results showed that both specimens achieved the maximum story drift capacity over 0.04 radian which is required for special moment frame.

A Study on the Bending and Seismic Performance of High Performance Cold Forming Composite Beam

  • Nowadays, the researches about composite structure system are being implemented in various fields, and many steel structures are designed based on that. In this study, the bending and seismic performance of the newly developed high-performance cold forming composite beam are evaluated by several experiments. As a result of the bending performance test, the bending moment of beam was increased stably depending on the depth and plate thickness of beam, and it is considered that the bending moment can be evaluated by the equation of a composite beam design. As a result of the seismic performance test, it was verified that sufficient seismic performance was obtained despite the increase of a negative moment rebar and depth of beam. In addition, the nominal bending moment has obtained the strength above the plastic bending moment, and also the plastic rotation angle has satisfied the requirement of composite intermediate moment frame.
