The Urban Planning Information System is the core system in urban planning field which should operate at the national level of network, and requires a close inspection from the initial level of development. Therefore, this study analyzes international standards, domestic laws, preceding plans, as well as the standard system established in 2008, in order to identify the problems and propose directions for the future direction of the Urban Planning Information System. Suggestions from this study can be summarized as follows: (1) to take initiatives to create standards for the development of the Urban Planning Information System, followed by the establishment as international standards, (2) to have the system developed as an open structure, and (3) to comply w ith the preceding plans of related national GIS system to enable integration.

A management planning is an index to accomplish the goal of business enterprise and a managing guide of the top manager. It is a top manager's authority with he gives directions at the beginning of the budget year and has something to do with a responsible accounting. If we correlate this management planning with an area of accounting, we can subdivide it into followings; production and marketing schedule, demand-supply program of raw material, demand-supply program of the personnel and lobor cost program, facility investment program, balance fund program, profit and loss, and financial position program. I think, in the field of accounting for the sake of the management planning, there are motivation accounting, responsible accounting, divisional system accounting, evaluating accounting and so on. A management planning should be accomplishe and as it is accomplished, a business is going to be grown up and developed. Especially, it must be set up on the ground of the long-term strategies. When the accomplishment through the management planning, which is a social responibility that all the business enterprise are seeking after, is attained, it makes the development of business possible and we cannot dent that it is closely connected with the national economic development.

This study intends to select the planning techniques and develop the layouts of environmentally friendly rural villages. As the results of this study, the planning techniques of rural villages are as follows: (1) Development of agricultural technology(organic farming), (2) Environmentally friendly layout considering natural energy, conservation of natural landscape and ecosystem, and sewage and rainwater, (3) Community restoration considering joint work, economic interchange between urban people and rural residents, and unity of rural resident's opinion, and (4) Activation of rural tourism considering satisfaction of tourists, conservation of ecological and cultural resources, and resident's income increasement. According to these 4 techniques, this study also developed 4 general models: (1) land-use and flow, (2) green and blue networks, (3) networks of ecological and cultural resources, and (4) finally residential model, divided rural villages into 2 types. Therefore when we develop a countryside, we can apply to these models, considering the current ecological and cultural resources conditions.

Taekwondo, Korean traditional martial art as one of the ten Korean cultural symbols, has acquired a reputation for introducing and globalizing Korean culture together with its standing as official Olympic Game in 2000, Sydney, Australia. Nevertheless the World Taekwondo Headquarters, Kukkiwon, which is an exclusive Taekwondo institution only accommodates for three thousand persons. Considering the worldwide reputation of Taekwondo, the scale of Kukkiwon leaves a big supply problem. This study therefore suggests the plan to design Taekwondo park that playa major role of Taekwondo development in the 21st century and represent the cultural heartland of Taekwondo. The study considers four points. The points are as follows: 1) Necessary programs drawn by analyzing and assessing Muju city as a site for Taekwondo park, then a survey conducted for potential visitors to a Taekwondo park. Under the theme of "A World Cultural Heritage Upon Our Own Lives", the park plan intends to become a shrine of Taekwondo as well as a big tourist attraction. 2) Programs are appropriate for the terms of the investment under the auspices of government, by considering potential visits and the site conditions. 3) The meaning of Taekwondo and its history should be reflected in the space distribution and facilities allotment. Three meaningful zones: symbolic zone, training zone and culture zone are considered in planning program and space distribution. 4) The plan also intends to harmonize with local development by groping Muju city's uplifting, not only designs a Taekwondo park.

The purpose of this study was to develop the website-based program for individual meal planning. The program consisted of the basic information of clients, dietary habits, analysis of nutrient intakes and menu planning. The first part of the program consisted of general information such as general characteristics and anthropometric data of clients. The second part was designed to investigate the dietary habits, food intake frequency, nutrition knowledge, and drinking and smoking habits of the clients. The third part consisted of analysis of nutrient intakes including three major nutrients, calorie intake by foods and alcohol, and ratio of individual fatty acid intake. Nutrient intakes was evaluated by comparing with dietary reference intakes. In the final part, the program included the menu planning by using standard recipe. This system was also designed to insert, remove or change the food items or amount according to the user need. It is expected that the development of a meal planning system based on the internet can facilitate the professional dietary counseling, and thus help to improve the health of people.

The objective of public works planning is being converted from economic growth to sustainable development. So, the demand for considering social & ecological influences as well as economic components had been increased in evaluation of public works planning. In evaluation of public works, its components related with benefit and cost in feasibility analysis can be classified to qualitative and qualitative elements. Qualitative elements are evaluated by qualitative methods which can manage various items, be commonly applied nationwide, and consider elements that can be calculated numerically such as environments, willingness, etc. In this study, using the concept of 'Information measure', a method to design planning of rural works is proposed. 'Information benefit model' for rural works can evaluate present plan in the side of provider's and demander's 'benefit'. And, optimizing method of rural works by 'Information benefit' can simulate present state and optimize the site and route of rural works.

The Se San and Srepok river basins (2S) are the two major tributaries of the Mekong River, both of which originate in the territory of Viet Nam and flow to Cambodia to meet at Stung treng with the Sekong river (originating in Lao PDR) to form the 3S river basin before joining the Mekong mainstream. In the territory of Viet Nam, the 2S river basins are located in the Central Highlands including 5 provinces, arranged by geographical location from north to south namely Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong. This is a region with a very important strategic position in terms of economy, politics and defense for the whole country with many potential advantages for economic development. However, the limited and vulnerable basin water resources are under the pressure of socio-economic development in line with increasing water demands for various sectors. In order to overcome the water management challenges, a long-term water resources planning has conducted to support the 2S River Basin Committee (RBC) in effective planning and operation as part of the WB Mekong-Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Project. This paper introduces the outline and progress of the river basin planning using analytical DSS toolkits to analyze, evaluate and formulate the planning options.

Spatial planning, is required to be conceptualized corresponding to the shifts in planning paradigm through logical and systematic approaches. The concept of planning, thus, should be considered in terms of not only the planning discipline but also the planning activities or practices. This study aims to review and examine the concept of spatial planning based on the different approaches of planning and analyze the difference between land use planning, then review a meaning of spatial planning in terms of its dimensions. The research range will be limited to only the concept of spatial planning and survey was carried on through collecting the secondary research data by literature reviews and both descriptive and comparative approaches will be applied concurrently. The key findings of the study can be found as follows: Firstly, spatial planning has been reviewed with regard to theoretical, practical and integrated approaches. Secondly, the concept of spatial planning has been examined in terms of definitions, dimensions and analysis criteria and then analyzed conceptual differences compared with traditional land use planning. Finally, a meaning of spatial planning has been highlighted based on the dimensions of spatial planning, such as future visions, policy toolbox, sustainable development and inclusivity.

In recent year, construction of national infrastructure, variations of agricultural environment, urbanization of rural life-style, and other things have influenced on rural area. Therefore, its landscapes have been changed rapidly. As a result of it, rural landscape should be controlled with amenity and totality. That is a rural amenity control planning. The purposes of this study is to consider characters of rural settlement area, the directions of landscape control planning as an environmental planning, the structure of rural landscape, the process of rural landscape control planning, and its frameworks. Main viewpoints of landscape control planning in rural settlement are as follows; the using of regional resources, the harmony of surrounding environments, the harmony of natural ecology, locating of facilities, the development of new landscape material, maintenance of sequencing, symbolizing, unificating, and opening, the using of natural/regional materials, the using of waterfront, the making of stories.

Many enterprises are performing the production planning computerization for survival in unlimited competing period. But it is very difficult to directly apply many production planning softwares to the domain-specific areas of many small enterprises because one enterprise is different from the others with respect to product type, production process, and order fulfillment method. Practically most small enterprises depend on experienced production managers in production planning, so then many problems such as overtime work and cost have been appeared. The purpose of this study is to develop production planning module for order-made production system in order to reduce overtime works and surplus costs. We developed production planning module with RDBMS, which is fit for small manufacturing company. Developing this software, we use Visual Basic 5.0 to provide GUI environment for the production planning module and Microsoft Access 97 is used to construct Database. This production planning module is applied to enhancement of productivity in M manufacturing company located in Asan.
