Activity Creating Method for Multi-Unit Projects

  • The typical Critical Path Method (CPM) leaves it to the construction managers to overcome two problems in developing networks. First, the construction manager needs to prepare information on the type of activities and their precedence relations in order to develop a network schedule. Second, he or she can include space information into the network schedule such as the locations where the activities take place, only with difficulty. These two problems make it difficult for an inexperienced person to create a network. The purpose of this paper is to provide construction managers with set equations of creating a network schedule for multiunit projects. A space-resource combined network creation are presented in this paper, which includes equations for generating a list of required activities, their precedence relations, and information on their location. Information on the space (location) and the resource is the required data for this method. Based on this information, this method divides a project into a number of activities so that each activity contains the information on the location where the activity takes place and the principal resource required for that activity. Precedence relations are then obtained from the sequence of space and resource. This method has the potential to reduce human efforts in scheduling activities.

부탄 캔 폭발장소 주변의 소음에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Noise Near the Butane-can Explosion Location)

  • People in the advanced society have deep interest in such environmental problems as noise, air quality, water pollution, etc. This paper submits the result of the research on the noise In the surroundings of the butane can explosion location. First, the noise level measured in a residential area, 245 meters' away from the butane can explosion location, was 59.3 dB. Also, the noise level measured in the IGUP (International Graduate University of Peace), 300 meters' away from the explosion site, was 52.5 dB. Second, the above noise levels are lower than the level specified In the Environmental Standard (65 dB), which represented that the experiment was safe. Third, the noise level in a place away from the butane can explosion location varied in accordance with the direction of the wind. Consequently, the noise in all locations (the places where damage to people is expected) surrounding the experimental butane can explosion location was measured to identify the effect of the wind irection.

생태통로의 최적지 평가를 위한 공간분석 (Spatial Analysis for the Assessment of Optimum Place of Eco-bridge)

  • The purpose of this study aims to preserve biodiversity in increasingly fragmented green patches for spatial analysis of planting on the eco-corridors and to optimize the target species, the location, width, cross section of the eco-corridors. It was suggested that eco-corridors should have to planned at early stages of road planning so that the number and locations of eco-corridors in advance. Ecological corridor is the facility to connect two habitats fragmented by road, dam, housing and industrial area. And, everyone agree that ecological corridor is important useful structural component that help animal movement in fragmented landscapes. However, ecological corridors have many problems of the recorded the size of corridor, planting species to nearby exiting vegetation species and structure. The most important facts that there are no consideration for location of animal migration and behavior using eco-corridors. This study was carried out to spatial analysis of eco-corridors location, satellite data and GIS were used to analyze for searching optimum location of the eco-corridors.

시계열 스트리트뷰 데이터베이스를 이용한 시각적 위치 인식 알고리즘 (Visual Location Recognition Using Time-Series Streetview Database)

  • Nowadays, portable digital cameras such as smart phone cameras are being popularly used for entertainment and visual information recording. Given a database of geo-tagged images, a visual location recognition system can determine the place depicted in a query photo. One of the most common visual location recognition approaches is the bag-of-words method where local image features are clustered into visual words. In this paper, we propose a new bag-of-words-based visual location recognition algorithm using time-series streetview database. The proposed algorithm selects only a small subset of image features which will be used in image retrieval process. By reducing the number of features to be used, the proposed algorithm can reduce the memory requirement of the image database and accelerate the retrieval process.

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 단말기에 부착되어 있는 카메라를 통하여 입력되는 차량의 전, 후면의 번호판을 자동으로 인식, 검증하는 기술을 바탕으로 차량 번호를 검출하고 무선 통신망을 통해 원격 서버에 차량 번호와 모바일 단말기의 위치 정보를 함께 전송함으로써 어디에서든지 차량 조회 및 차량 위치 추적을 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 모바일 단말기에서 획득된 차량의 정보는 부호화되어 무선 통신망을 통하여 원격지의 서버로 전송된다. 원격지의 서버는 복호화 과정을 거쳐 전송된 텍스트 형식의 차량 번호와 위치 정보는 실시간 추정한 공간상관거리를 통하여 가용자의 위치를 측정하기 위해 공간정보와 속성 정보를 갖는 수치 값들 가운데 원하는 데이터 값에 가장 우선하는 특성 정보를 통해 적합한 위치를 추적이 가능한 임베디드형 이동 가능한 차량 번호판 인식 시스템을 구현한다.

  • 실내위치인식을 위한 플랫폼으로서 RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator)기반으로 Zigbee/IEEE802.15.4표준을 따르는 CC2431(Chipcon, Norway)과 베이스스테이션노드를 결합하여 실내위치인식 시스템을 구현하였다. CC2431은 지정된 위치에서 자신의 현재위치를 전송해주는 레퍼런스노드와 인접해있는 레퍼런스노드들의 현재위치(X, Y좌표)와 RSSI값을 수신받아 내장된 Location Engine에서 자신의 현재위치를 계산하여 베이스스테이션노드로 전송해주는 블라인드노드로 구성이 되어있다. 베이스스테이션노드는 블라인드노드의 현재위치를 전송받아서 PC로 데이터를 넘겨주기 위한 게이트웨이로 사용하였으며 서버측의 원격지뿐만 아니라 외부에서도 블라인드노드의 현재위치를 실시간으로 확인할 수가 있다.

  • 입지는 모든 산업에 있어서 성공의 핵심적인 결정요소이기 때문에 잘못 선정된 입지는 아무리 유능한 운영자라 할지라도 많은 어려움을 겪기 마련이다. 이에 본 연구는 보다 합리적이고 간편한 소매점의 입지 선정 모델을 만들고자 서울시 소재 대형마트를 대상으로 허프의 확률이론을 적용하여 점포별 점유인구를 산출하였다. 점유인구를 바탕으로 모든 단위 구역을 상점간 경쟁 상대를 나타내는 4개의 시장유형, 즉 독점시장, 과점시장, 경쟁시장 비경쟁시장으로 구분하였다. 신규점포가 입지에 가장 합리적인 장소는 점유인구를 가장 많이 확보할 수 있는 지점으로, 비경쟁시장을 최대한 확보할 수 있으면서, 경쟁시장에서 멀리 떨어진 곳이다.

SNS를 이용한 POI 공간관계 데이터베이스 구축과 활용 (Construction and Application of POI Database with Spatial Relations Using SNS)

  • 지도를 검색하는 사용자는 특정 장소에 대한 정식 명칭보다는 자신이 알고 있는 명칭이나 일반적으로 불리어지는 명칭을 이용해 검색을 수행하기 때문에 원하는 장소를 찾는데 빈번히 실패하게 된다. 또한 지도의 공간검색에 있어서 대표적인 웹 지도 서비스에서는 '근처'와 '주변'이라는 공간어휘를 가지고 공간상 인접 장소를 탐색하는데 2km 이상 떨어진 장소까지 검색되어 원하지 않는 위치의 장소 정보를 제공하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 SNS 중 트위터를 이용하여 POI 데이터를 추출하고, 기구축되어 있는 기존POI로부터 공간관계를 구축해 사람이 인지할 수 있는 공간범위를 산정하였다. 그 결과, 다양한 장소 명칭을 획득하여 기존 POI 데이터의 다른 이름의 명칭으로 활용할 수 있었고, 기존에 없는 새로운 POI 데이터는 POI 변화가 많은 지역을 파악하는데 활용하여 POI 데이터 구축을 위한 지역선정에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 또한 공간검색에 사용될 수 있는 다양한 공간어휘와 사람이 인지할 수 있는 공간범위를 이용해 보다 효율적인 공간검색을 수행할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

GIS를 이용한 도시민의 야외 운동장소 접근 특성 분석 - 서울시 공원의 운동기구 사용자를 중심으로 - (Characteristics of Citizens' Access to Outdoor Exercise Places by Using the GIS - Focused on the Users of the Outdoor Exercise Equipment Installed in Parks, Seoul -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the accessibility to the place for outdoor exercise. For that, the departure (resident) location of the users of outdoor exercise equipment within 12 parks in Seoul have been investigated. A total of 1,733 people have been surveyed during the two-week period between Aug.2 and Aug. 15 and 815 cases were analyzed. We also investigated demographic characteristics, access method and related factors such as location, climate and visiting time. The results were coded through ArcGis program and the accessibility to each exercise location, difference in regional accessibility and accessibility characteristics in terms of climate and time have been analyzed. The results are as follows: First, visitors to the Han River start from the places further than the visitors to the streamlines. Second, the average moving distance is longer for the users aged under-60 than for the users aged 60 and over to reach the exercise place. And the average moving distance for visitors to the Han River destination is the longest with 748 meters, followed by 203 meters for general parks and 92 meters for streamline parks, respectively. Third, in each non-waterfront parks, the moving distance by users under-60 was longer by about 230 meters than that by users 60 and over. Fourth, exercisers in the weekend travel more by 244 meters than those during the midweek users to reach the exercise place. Fifth, the number of visitors to the Han River increased in the weekend while visitors to the streamlines decreased in the same period. Sixth, the traveling length for bicycle users is three times as much as that for pedestrian visitors. And the departure locations of bicycle users were more widely distributed.

블라인드 설치 위치에 따른 실내열환경 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change of Indoor Thermal Environment According to the location of Blinds)

  • In order to prevent incoming solar radiation, it is necessary to study about blinds' blocking out effects of heat that are installed at the balcony at an apartment house. To figure out the heating effects from the windows, a study for indoor thermal environment according to the location of blinds is also needed. In order to find out the changes of indoor thermal environment, we'll compare models of a house building with or without Venetian blinds: one place has an extended living room removing a balcony and another one has a normal balcony. The result is as follows. Without blinds, the place with an extended living room has benefits for saving heat compare to the place with a normal balcony. It's because the warm air heated by the incoming solar radiation moves into the living room through convection current and radiation which causes an increase of the indoor temperature. At an extended living room, the temperature difference from outside and inside, when blinds were installed inside, was $1.9^{\circ}C$ while it was $0.6^{\circ}C$ when the blinds were installed at outside of the balcony. It is evaluated that setting up the blind outside prevents much heat. At the space with a normal balcony, installing blinds at living room windows can save much heat compare to installing blinds at windows at the balcony. The indoor temperature was low when blinds were installed. It can be said that blinds block heat from the incoming solar radiation. Moreover, when blinds are installed, there is a big change of indoor temperature due to the radiation from the blinds' slat and convective activities in between the blinds and windows. This also has to be considered.
