고분자 보호 필름을 적용한 태양광 모듈의 출력 및 신뢰성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Output and Reliability Characteristics of Ultra Barrier Film PV Module)

  • Recently, the installation capacity of PV (photovoltaic) systems has been increasing not only field installation but also floating PV, farm land, BIPV/BAPV. For this reason, the new design and materials of PV module are needed. In particular, in order to apply a PV system to a building, lightweight of the PV module is essential. PV modules made of generally used texturing glass are excellent in output and reliability, but there is a limit to the weight that can be reduced. For the lightweight of the PV module, it necessary to use a film instead of a glass. However, the application of film rather than a glass may cause various problems such as decrease in photocurrent by decrease in transmittance and a increase of CTM (cell to module) loss, a degradation of the reliability, and so on. In this paper, PV modules using Ultra barrier film, which is recently a lot of interest as a substitute for a glass, its characteristic analysis and reliability test were conducted. The transmittance and UV characteristics of each material were verified, and the output of the fabricated 1 cell PV module was measured. In addition, 24 cell PV modules were fabricated at the lab-scale and its reliability tests were conducted. As a result of the experiment, the reliability characteristics of the ultra barrier film PV module were excellent, and it was confirmed that it could be used as the front material of the PV module instead of glass

One sensor방식의 추적식 PV System (The Tracking Photovoltaic System by One sensor Type)

  • 본 논문에서는 태양과 태양전지 모듈이 법선을 이루도록 기존에 태양의 방위각 및 고도각을 제어하는 양축 추적시스템에 2개의 센서를 사용하였던 Double-sensor방식에서 1개의 센서로 방위각 및 고도각을 제어할 수 있는 One-sensor방식의 양축 추적시스템을 제안하였다. 그리고 제안한 추적시스템을 제작하여 시스템의 실제 운전을 실행하였다. 제안한 추적시스템은 1개의 센서를 이용하여 태양이 항상 법선을 이루면서 태양전지 모듈에 입사되게 제어하기 위해 방위각과 고도각을 제어하는 양축 추적시스템이다. 실험결과 가장 효율적인 운전과 불필요한 구동부의 동작을 방지하여 전력소모를 감소할 수 있었으며 고정식에 비해 본 논문에서 제안한 One-sensor방식의 양축 추적시스템이 약 23[%]의 발전효율이 증가함을 확인 할 수 있었다. 태양을 추적하여 더 많은 햇빛을 받게 하여 태양전지의 효율을 높이기 위하여 행해진 추적장치는 대형 방식에 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 따라서 본 논문의 태양위치추적의 모니터링 시스템을 구축하여 지속적인 발전효율에 대한 실용화 연구를 통해 태양광발전시스템 보급에 큰 역할을 할 것이라 기대된다.

반사방지막(ARC)의 SiO2 구조에 따른 PERC 태양전지 PID 열화 완화 상관관계 연구 (Mitigation of Potential-Induced Degradation (PID) for PERC Solar Cells Using SiO2 Structure of ARC Layer)

  • In this study, Mitigation of Potential-induced degradation (PID) for PERC solar cells using SiO2 Structure of ARC layer. The conventional PID test was conducted with a cell-level test based on the IEC-62804 test standard, but a copper PID test device was manufactured to increase the PID detection rate. The accelerated aging test was conducted by maintaining 96 hours with a potential difference of 1000 V at a temperature of 60℃. As a result, the PERC solar cell of SiO2-Free ARC structure decreased 22.11% compared to the initial efficiency, and the PERC solar cell of the Upper-SiO2 ARC structure decreased 30.78% of the initial efficiency and the PID reliability was not good. However, the PERC solar cell with the lower-SiO2 ARC structure reduced only 2.44%, effectively mitigating the degradation of PID. Na+ ions in the cover glass generate PID on the surface of the PERC solar cell. In order to prevent PID, the structure of SiNx and SiO2 thin films of the ARC layer is important. SiO2 thin film must be deposited on bottom of ARC layer and the surface of the PERC solar cell N-type emitter to prevent surface recombination and stacking fault defects of the PERC solar cell and mitigated PID degradation.

결정질 실리콘 및 CuInxGa(1-x)Se2 모듈의 부분음영에 따른 태양전지 특성 변화 및 바이패스 다이오드의 작동 메커니즘 분석 (Analysis of Mechanism for Photovoltaic Properties and Bypass Diode of Crystalline Silicon and CuInxGa(1-x)Se2 Module in Partial Shading Effect)

  • This paper presents the impact of partial shading on $CuIn_xGa_{(1-x)}Se_2(CIGS)$ photovoltaic(PV) modules with bypass diodes. When the CIGS PV modules were partially shaded, the modules were under conditions of partial reverse bias. We investigated the characterization of the bypass diode and solar cell properties of the CIGS PV modules when these was partially shaded, comparing the results with those for a crystalline silicon module. In crystalline silicon modules, the bypass diode was operated at a partial shade modules of 1.67 % shading. This protected the crystalline silicon module from hot spot damage. In CIGS thin film modules, on the other hand, the bypass diode was not operated before 20 % shading. This caused damage because of hotspots, which occurred as wormlike defects in the CIGS thin film module. Moreover, the bypass diode adapted to the CIGS thin film module was operated fully at 60% shading, while the CIGS thin film module was not operated under these conditions. It is known that the bypass diode adapted to the CIGS thin film module operated more slowly than that of the crystalline silicon module; this bypass diode also failed to protect the module from damage. This was because of the reverse saturation current of the CIGS thin film, $1.99{\times}10^{-5}A/cm^2$, which was higher than that of crystalline silicon, $8.11{\times}10^{-7}A/cm^2$.

태양에너지를 이용한 일체형의 전원공급시스템과 DC 램프 모듈 개발 (Development of Power Supply System and DC Lamp Module of all-in-one using the Solar Energy)

  • 최근에는 태양광 및 연료 전지 등 신재생 에너지의 경우 대부분이 직류에너지원으로 발전하고 있으며 보급을 위해서는 이를 적절히 활용하는 방안이 필요하다. 이 경우 직류 전용 조명 시스템으로의 활용이 주 대안이 될 수 있다. 개발하고자 하는 태양에너지를 이용한 전원공급장치와 관련한 유사 시스템은 주로 태양광 패널을 컨트롤러를 포함한 충전 키트와 배터리를 서로를 각각 연결하여사용하는 형태로 되어 있다. 이것을 본 연구에서는 태양광패널과 일체형으로 연결하여 전기를 효율적으로 충전하고, 사용할 수 있도록 단일 형태의 독립된 전원공급장치를 구성한다. 이와 함께 직류 전원을 사용한 전자식 안정기 모듈을 램프와 분리되도록 일체형 전자식 안정기의 삼파장 DC 램프 모듈을 개발한다. 개발한 일체형의 DC 램프 모듈은 ON/OFF 버튼으로 램프의 점등과 소등이 가능하며, 사용하다가 램프나 안정기의 교체 시기가 되었을 경우 부분 교체만으로도 반영구적인 사용이 가능하도록 개발한다.

Backsheet 반사율에 따른 Shingled Mini Module 출력변화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Output Power of Shingled Mini Module Depending on Reflectance of Backsheets)

  • It is very important to optimize the reflectance of incident light in solar modules for improving output power and reducing loss of cell-to-module (CTM). It is assumed that a higher reflectance backsheet may improve optical efficiency. However how much output power is related to optical properties by reflectance property of backsheets have not been revealed clearly yet. A total of 3 types of industrial backsheets with 3 type of industrial encapsulants (EVA or POE) were analyzed as fabricated mini modules used shingled cells. According to the type of backsheets, the difference between the highest and lowest average reflectance in the range of 400 nm to 1200 nm was found to be 13.08% by UV-visible spectroscopy. Also, when using the same encapsulant, the maximum gap value of the output power increase was measured by about 3.755 mW% (166.02 mW). The correlation between reflectance and output power was experimentally found by measuring the output property of the fabricated shingled mini modules.

  • The arrangement technique of solar cell and module is accomplished quickly with development of power semiconduc-tors. It reached to a practical cost linearly. Photovoltaic power system increases constantly. There are 3kWtracking photovoltaic system and fixed photovoltaic system in Chosun University. This paper compares operating characteristics of the fixed photovoltaic system and the tracking photovoltaic system with shows the efficiency.

  • This paper presents the isolation and performance evaluation of PV systems installed at Tibet area of China in order to identity the key factors that determines system operation at a severe climate conditions and promote the cooperation of PV technology between Korea and China. The installed systems consist of 100kW on-grid connected PV systems, BOS(balance of systems), data acquisition and transmission equipments. The Korea side supplied the solar cell, BOS like as inverter, control box and monitoring system. And the Chinese side assembled solar module by using Koreans solar cells, constructed site and built control house.

  • The solar energy is purity and infinity. Solar power converter were used to convert the electrical energy from the solar arrays to a stable and reliable power source. So much country research this solar energy system. The photovoltaic system is construct many solar cell array, In this paper, new implementation solar system was showed buck converter that V-I curve produced. This system can be used to study the short-term and long-term performances of solar cell and efficiency. This system is a far more cost effective and reliable replacement for field and outdoor flight testing. Study of buck converter, analysis and control shun t$\cdot$series connection characteristics of solar cell array.

  • 최근에 들어 태양광 발전의 시설용량이 급격히 증가되고 기 설치된 태양광 패널의 수명이 다하여 폐기될 모듈의 양이 점점 많아짐에 따라, 이에 대한 처리가 환경문제 해결뿐만 아니라 유가물질의 회수차원에서도 크나큰 관심을 받고 있다. 사용 후 태양광 모듈의 처리 공정은 대부분 알루미늄 프레임의 해체, 강화유리의 분리 회수, 실리콘 웨이퍼에 부착된 에틸렌 비닐 아세테이트(EVA)의 제거 및 태양광 셀 중에 함유된 유가금속의 회수 등으로 구성되어 있다. 전술한 태양광 폐모듈의 리싸이클링 기술들을 치밀하게 검토한 다음, 물질 선별기술을 포함한 효과적인 처리 기술을 제시하였다. 그리고 리싸이클링 산업의 활성화를 위해서 필수적인 생산자 책임제도의 시행을 비롯한 종합적인 의견을 제안하였다.
