상부전극에 따른 상변화 메모리의 발열 특성 (Thermal characteristic of PRAM with top electrode)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the reset current variation of PRAM device with top electrode using the 3-D finite element analysis tool. As thickness of phase change material thin film decreased, reset current caused by phase transition highly increased. Joule's heat which was generated at the contact surface of phase change material and bottom electrode of PRAM was given off through top electrode to which was transferred phase change material. As thermal conductivity of top electrode decreased, heating temperate was increased.

  • This paper's objective is to investigate the effect of gravity on a micropolar thermoelastic medium with voids. The problem is assessed according to the three-phase-lag model. An analysis of the resulting non-dimensional displacement, temperature variation, and internal stress of the study material is carried out and presented graphically. The non-dimensional displacement, temperature, micro-rotation, the change in the volume fraction field and stress of the material are obtained and illustrated graphically. Comparisons are made with the results predicted by different theories for different values of gravity, the phase-lag of the heat flux and the phase-lag of the temperature gradient. The numerical results reveal that gravity and relaxation times have a significant influence on the distribution of the field quantities. Some notable insights of interest are deduced from the investigation.

레이저 출력에 따른 난류 모사 위상판 측정 (Measurement of a Phase Plate Simulates Atmospheric Turbulence Depending on Laser Power)

  • 천체망원경의 성능은 여러가지 요소에 의해 결정된다. 대기 난류도 그 중 하나인데, 대기 난류는 망원경으로 수집한 빛을 왜곡시켜 이미지의 선명도와 해상도를 저하시킨다. 때문에 대기 난류를 보정하기 위한 기술이 연구되어 왔다. 보정 기술을 연구하기 위해서는 대기 난류를 실험실에서 모사해야 하며, 그 중 가장 실용적인 방법으로 위상판을 이용한 방법이 있다. 심한 난기류를 모사한 위상판을 측정할 때에는 주로 샥하트만 파면 센서로 측정하게 된다. 이 때, 레이저 광원은 위상판을 거쳐 샥-하트만 파면 센서로 들어가게 되는데 위상판을 거치면서 레이저의 세기가 줄어들고, 이로 인해 샥-하트만 파면 센서가 위상판을 측정하지 못하는 경우가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 난기류를 모사한 위상판 측정 시 레이저 출력 조절의 필요성과 레이저 출력이 측정된 파면에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아본다. 프라이드 파라미터 r0이 상대적으로 낮은 위상판의 경우 레이저 출력으로 인해 10% 이상 r0이 변화하였다. r0이 상대적으로 높은 위상판의 경우 레이저 출력으로 인한 변화가 5% 미만으로 r0이 거의 변하지 않음을 보였다. 따라서 난기류가 심한 대기 상태를 모사한 위상판일수록 레이저 출력의 영향이 미미함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 본 논문의 시스템을 기준으로 레이저 출력 5 mW 이상에서 난기류를 모사한 위상판을 측정할 수 있었다.

다층박막에서의 입사광과 반사광의 광로정변화 (The variation of optical pass length between incident and reflective beam in multilayer thin film)

  • 광학 반사경에서 일어나는 입사광과 반사광의 광로정변화와 분위기변화와의 관계를 조사했다. 분위기 변화요소로는 기압, 온도, 습도 그리고 $CO_2$함유량 등을 예로 들었다. 이들의 변화에 따른 광로정 변화치의 측정기법을 개발하여 실험 결과로부터 광로정 변화치를 정량화할 수 있음을 보였으며. 습도변화가 광로정의 변화에 가장 큰 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • The seismic overstrength factor $\Omega$ is evaluated for 4-story reinforced concrete buildings in Korea(of which seismic intensity is low). The study model is designed according to aseismic guideline research - phase II in Korea. The effect of variation of span length and bay number, dead load is considered, especially including the variation of hardening ration after yielding. And push-over analysis is performed, in which the external and internal frame is connected by rigid-link and the $\Omega$ is calculated using the roof drift ratio at 2%. For Zone I, the mean value of $\Omega$ is ranged form 2.3 to 2.5, For Zone II, from 3.1 to 3.4. For low hardening ratio(3%) after yielding, $\Omega$ has little relations with the number of bay, like as the results of other research. But for 5% hardening ratio, $\Omega$ is increased as the number of bay is increased. Within general gravity-load bound, the variation of D.L. has variation of D. L. has no effect on $\Omega$. And, $\Omega$ is increased as the span length is increased.

Vegetation Classification Using Seasonal Variation MODIS Data

  • The role of remote sensing in phenological studies is increasingly regarded as a key in understanding large area seasonal phenomena. This paper describes the application of Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) time series data for vegetation classification using seasonal variation patterns. The vegetation seasonal variation phase of Seoul and provinces in Korea was inferred using 8 day composite MODIS NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) dataset of 2006. The seasonal vegetation classification approach is performed with reclassification of 4 categories as urban, crop land, broad-leaf and needle-leaf forest area. The BISE (Best Index Slope Extraction) filtering algorithm was applied for a smoothing processing of MODIS NDVI time series data and fuzzy classification method was used for vegetation classification. The overall accuracy of classification was 77.5% and the kappa coefficient was 0.61%, thus suggesting overall high classification accuracy.

이종금속 용접부의 경도변화에 대한 장시간 인공열화의 영향 (Effects of Long-term Artificial-Aging on the Hardness Variation of Dissimilar Metal Weldments)

  • This study investigates the effects of long-term artificial-aging on hardness variation in the dissimilar metal weldments for nuclear power plant facilities. These dissimilar welds are inevitably required to join the components in nozzle parts of pressurized vessels, such as austenitic stainless steels and ferritic steels. A artificial thermal aging was conducted in an electrical furnace to simulate material degradation at high temperatures. The test materials were held at the temperature of $600^{\circ}C$ for 10000 hours and interrupted at various levels of degraded specimens. The degradation of hardness is a well-known phenomenon resulting from long-term aging or high-temperature degradation of structural materials. In this study, the variation of hardness at each position was different, and complicated in relation to microstructures such as twins, grains, precipitates, phase transformations, and residual stresses in dissimilar weldments. We discussed the variation of hardness in terms of microstructural changes during long-term aging.

  • 본 논문에서는 분산전원의 계통 연계형 시스템에서의 단독운전 검출 방식인 RPV(Reactive Power Variation)기법에 대한 고찰과 주파수 검출 방식을 분석한다. IEEE 929 - 2000에 근거하여 RPV 기법에서의 NDZ에 대하여 살펴보고, PLL(Phase Locked Loop) 기법을 이용한 주파수 검출에 대한 분석 및 설계와 이를 통한 단독운전 검출을 하고자 한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 타당성을 검증하였다.

Interference of Acoustic Signals Due to Internal Waves in Shallow Water

  • To investigate internal waves (IW) effect on acoustic wave propagation, m analysis is conducted on mode travel time and model simulation. Based on the thermistor string data, it can be shown that the thermocline depth variation may cause travel time difference as much as 4-10 ms between mode 1 and 2 over range 10 km. This travel time difference causes interference among modes and thus fluctuation from range-independent stratified ocean structure. In real situations, however, there exist additionally spatial variation of IW. Model simulation with all modes and simple IW shows clear responses of acoustic signals to IW, amplitude and phase fluctuation.

  • The conventional PI controller are fragile in parameter variation and load-variation. Therefore, in this paper, a speed control algorithm based on the Fuzzy PI controller is proposed for the high performance speed control of a voltage-source inverter to drive 3-phase induction motors. The computer simulation results show that the proposed controller are more excellent control characteristics than conventional PI controller in transient-state and steady-state response.
