단상 SRM의 역률 개선을 위한 구동방식 (Single-Phase SRM Driving Method for Power Factor Correction)

  • A novel single-stage power factor corrected (PFC) drive for switched reluctance motor (SRM) is presented to achieve sinusoidal, near unity power factor input current. The proposed PFC SRM drive has no additional active switch. And a single-stage approach, which combines a DC link capacitor used as dc source and a drive used for driving the motor into one power stage, has a simple structure and low cost. The characteristics and validity of the proposed circuit will be discussed in depth through the experimental results.

  • For small capacity rectifier circuits such as these for consumer electronics and appliances, capacitor input type rectifier circuits are generally used. Consequently, various harmonics generated within the power system become a serious problem. Various studies of this effect have been presented previously. However, most of these employ switching devices, such as FET and the like. The absence of switching devices mattes systems more tolerant to over-load and brings low radio noise benefits. We propose a power factor correction scheme using a LC resonant in commercial frequency without switching devices. In this method It makes a sinusoidal wave by widening conduction period using the current resonance in commercial frequency, Hence, the harmonic characteristics can be significantly improved, where the lower order harmonics, such as the fifth and seventh orders are much reduced The result are confirmed by the theoretical and experimental implementations.

Fuzzy Pre-Compensated PI Control of Active Filters

  • This paper deals with a new and improved control technique for shunt active filters (AF) used for compensating unwanted harmonic currents injected in the mains due to nonlinear varying loads. This work is motivated by the need to find a permanent solution to the rigorous hit and trial method for evaluating system parameters in an indirect control of AF. A fuzzy pre-compensated PI (Proportional-Integral) controller is used to fuzzify the reference DC voltage of AF to the controller input so that the overshoots and undershoots in its DC link voltage are minimized and the settling time is improved. A three-phase diode rectifier with R-L (Resistive-Inductive) load is used as a non-linear load to study the effectiveness of the proposed controller of the AF. Robustness to filter parameter variations, insensitivity to controller parameter variations, and transient response has been taken as performance evaluation parameters. The results are shown through simulations in Matlab using power system block sets to demonstrate the capability of the proposed controller of the AF.

  • 본 논문에서는 3상 IPM을 사용하여 2상 유도전동기를 위한 2레그형 인버터를 설계하였다. 3상 IPM은 6개의 스위칭 소자를 내장하고 있어서 이중 4개는 2레그형 인버터로 사용하고, 나머지 2개는 역률제어 회로에 이용할 수 있다. 이렇게 하면 하드웨어의 추가를 최소화하면서 역률제어 기능을 갖는 2레그형 인버터를 구현할 수 있다. 2레그형 인버터에서는 반드시 직류링크에 2개의 커패시터를 직렬로 연결하는데, 입력 전원의 반주기 마다 각각의 커패시터에 충방전 동작이 수행된다. 이러한 동작으로 인해 2개의 커패시터에 전압 불균형이 발생할 수 있고 커패시터 용량이 서로 다를 경우에는 이 전압 리플이 더욱 커지게 되며, 이것은 전동기에 불평형 전류를 공급하게 되어 전동기의 토크리플을 발생시킨다. 본 논문에서는 직류링크의 전압 불균형 문제가 전동기에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이러한 전압 불균형을 보상하여 전동기의 토크리플을 제거하고 동작특성을 개선하는 방법을 제안하며, 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 이를 검증한다.

  • 역률개선용 변환기는 입력전류를 교류전원과 동상으로 제어하여 다이오드 정류기에 비해 역률을 개선하고 THD를 저감시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 단상 역률개선용 배전압 변환기를 IP 제어기와 Anti Wind-up Control을 사용하여 출력전압의 크기를 안정되게 제어하며 PI 제어기와 Anti Wind-up Control을 사용하여 입력전류가 입력전압과 동상이 되도록 제어한다. 또한 Duty-ratio Feed Forward Control을 사용하여 디지털 제어에 의한 진상현상을 저감시킨다. 본 논문에서는 소형화와 경량화가 가능하고 출력전압이 높은 역률개선용 단상 브리지리스 배전압 변환기를 구현한다.

  • Many new electronic products are required to have a near unity power factor and a distortion free input current waveform. In this paper, a high performance single phase PWM AC/DC converter with input power factor correction is proposed. This proposed control strategy has many advantages which include one semiconduction switch, simplified control circuit, high performance features and continuous input current. The experimental results are included to verify the validity of this approach.

Measurement of Thermal Conductivity of Foods in Liquid and Solid Phase Using a Thermal Probe

  • An instrument using thermal probe method was designed to measure thermal conductivity of liquid and solid foods. Thermal conductivity probe was designed with diameter to length ratio of 100 and diameter of 0.51 mm to minimize axial flow effect on thermal conductivity measurement. Thermal conductivities of distilled/deionized water, glycerin, and beef frankfurter meat were measured at $20-80^{\circ}C$. Mean thermal conductivity values of water showed less than 2.0% difference from several reference values without using time correction factor or probe calibration constant. For glycerin, difference was less than 0.7% from reference values at $20-50^{\circ}C$. Mean values of thermal conductivity for beef frankfurter meat ranged from 0.389 to $0.350\;W/m{\cdot}K$ at $20-80^{\circ}C$.

  • Estimates based on BIM makes it possible to perform from quantity take-off to construction cost estimates by using model, which is made in the phase of design and construction. As the BIM models are made up of the units of element, there an advantage of the automative quantity take-off, if the correction or change of element occurs. Work items, not included in the elements of the BIM model, are excepted from bill of quantity. Level of detail(LoD) of the BIM model can be improved for detailed estimates, but an excessive modeling for estimates is inefficient. This study presents the measure for selection and quantity take-off of work items, those are not expressed in the BIM model. The proposed method avoids the creation of excessive BIM Models and enables quantity take-off in conjunction with the element.

  • 전기자동차 배터리팩을 충전하기 위한 장치인 차량용 OBC(On-Board Charger)는 AC/DC 컨버터 기능을 담당하는 PFC(Power Factor Correction)와 DC/DC 전력변환 및 전기적 절연을 담당하는 Phase-Shifted Full Bridge Converter를 포함 한다. 현재 시중에 3.3kW급 OBC를 기준으로 규격화되어 생산되고 있지만 전기자동차의 배터리 용량이 날로 증가하고 전기자동차 보급, 사용률이 증가함에 따라 완속충전에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있다. 여기에 전력 인프라 시설 개선과 더불어 6.6kW급 완속충전이 보편화될 수 있게 된다. 차량용 OBC 공급업체에 있어서는 기존의 3.3kW급과 6.6kW급 OBC의 개발 중 어느 쪽에 중심을 둘지 고민에 대한 대안으로 기존의 3.3kW급을 모듈화하여 병렬운전하는 방법으로 6.6kW급 OBC 시장수요에 대응 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 3.3kW급 OBC 및 2병렬운전에 관한 시뮬레이션을 개발하고 분석하였다.

An Iterative MUSIC-Based DOA Estimation System Using Antenna Direction Control for GNSS Interference

  • This paper introduces the development of the iterative multiple signal classification (MUSIC)-based direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation system using a rotator that can control the direction of antenna for the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) interference. The system calculates the spatial spectrum according to the noise eigenvector of all dimensions to measure the number of signals (NOS). Also, to detect the false peak, the system adjusts the array antenna's direction and checks the change's peak angles. The phase delay and gain correction values for system calibration are calculated in consideration of the chamber's structure and the characteristics of radio waves. The developed system estimated DOAs of interferences located about 1km away. The field test results show that the developed system can estimate the DOA without NOS information and detect the false peak even though the inter-element spacing is longer than the half-wavelength of the interference.
