The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between characteristics of personality and respondent characteristics of Kinetic Family Drawing for young children. The subjects were 170 children(110 boys and 60 girls). The personal interview contained Personality Characteristic Test for young children(In-Sub Song, 1993) and Kinetic Family Drawing Test(Burns and Kaufman, 1982). Results of the test were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA by SAS program. Results are followings. First, chileren's sex and the general tendency of personal characteristic showed significant difference in the emotional personality among 4 personality characteristics. Girls show more positive tendency than boys in moral, physical, appearance and feature which expressed personal feeling and emotion. Also, girls showed more positive tendency than boys in personal characteristic which showed physical ability. Second, Children's sex and individual characteristic in Kinetic Family Drawing respondent characteristic showed significant difference in own's arm length. Also, Using a rare of paper and chapter 1 of the power among the family showed significant difference in styles and symbols. The boys drew lengther arms compared with their height than the girls. The girls were less complicative, anxious, comparative and aggressive for their family. Third, As a result of the study about the relationship between 4 personal characteristics of children and individual's behavior in Kinetic Family Drawing respondent characteristic, the significant difference is showed in academic personality and social personality had higher completion of their father's feature and drew bigger feet. In socal personality, negative behavior than positive children. Fourth, As a result of the study about the relationship between 4 personal characteristics of children and individual's characteristic, the significant difference were found in academic personality, social personality, family personality and emotional personality. Children with negative academic personality drew longer arms than children with positive academic personality, social personality and family personality. Also, Children with negative emotional personality drew more siblings than children with positive emotional personality. Fifth, The academic personality and the social personality had significant difference in the relationship between 4 personal characteristics of children and dynamics. In social personality, normal children were more tendencious to look at the important person with their mother's direction than positive children. Sixth, In terms of the relationship between 4 personal characteristics of children and mode, academic personality and family personality showed significant difference. Children with negative academic personality used more edge of papers than children with positive academic personality and children with positive academic personality and children with negative family personality fold more papers than children with positive family personality. At last, there were no significant difference between 4 personal characteristics of children and styles as well as symbols.
The purpose of this study was to examine: (1) relationships among mothers' attachment experience in childhood, mothers' personality characteristics, and parenting stress and parenting behavior; (2) whether mothers' personality characteristics mediate the relationship between mothers' attachment experience in childhood and parenting stress; and (3) whether mothers' personality characteristics mediate the relationship between mothers' attachment experience in childhood and parenting behavior. The subjects were 177 mothers with preschool children, and the data were collected with questionnaires. It was found that there are correlations among mothers' attachment experience in childhood, mothers' personality characteristics, parenting stress, and parenting behaviors(autonomy encouragement, and rejection). It was found that mothers' attachment experience in childhood predicts mothers' parenting stress, but the relationship is mediated by mothers' personality characteristics. It was also found that mothers' attachment experience in childhood predicts mothers' parenting behavior, but the relationship is mediated by mothers' personality characteristics.

The purpose of the study was to explore the relationship among personality characteristics, hope and quality of life(QOL) of breast cancer patients. The subjects of the study were the 113 breast cancer patients treated at 3 university hospitals in Daegu and Busan from June 1 to Sep. 30, 2003. Personality characteristics was measured by using Personality Inventory(NEO-PI), hope measured by using Nowotny's Hope Scale, and QOL by using a questionnaire developed by Ro(1988). Data were analyzed with SPSS program by frequency, range, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. The findings of this survey indicate 1) The mean personality characteristics item score was 2.64, hope was 2.78, and QOL was 3.19. It appeared that there was a slightly negative tendency about personality characteristics, hope and QOL of breast cancer patients. 2) There was a significant difference between personality characteristics, hope and QOL according to demographic factor. 3) There was a positive correlation between personality characteristics and hope(r=.49), hope and QOL(r=.377). Among subitem of hope and QOL especially confident, possibility of future, active participation, inner motivation and self esteem were positively correlated with personality characteristics especially extroversion, openness and conscientiousness. 4) There was a negative correlation between neuroticism and relation with neighbor(r=-.452), neuroticism and relation with family(r=-.344). It was found that personality characteristics, hope and QOL were essential concept for qualitive care of breast cancer patients and there were negative correlation with neuroticism toward relation with neighbor and relation with family. This study suggests that there would be further study to find out the importance and relationship among personality characteristics, hope and QOL of breast cancer patients.
This study was conducted to explore the relationship between personality characteristics and mood in the selection of media content. Using meta-analysis, this study analyzed past studies regarding media content selection in television program. The results of this research showed that the preference of a given media content would depend on the viewer's mood, personality characteristics and the interaction between personality characteristics and mood states. The secondary data of television programs supported the association.
The purpose of this research is to find out environmental characteristics of elementary school children's room, and determine the relationship between children's room environment and their personality. The finding showed that environmental characteristics of children's room has relationship with children's personality. Such environmental characteristics as convenience, order, originality, safety, and territoriality had a direct and high relationship with children's personality, while such environmental characteristics as accessibility, ability to express, comfortability, privacy, and social interaction had indirect relationship with children's personality through three intervening variables. The finding further said that achievement motivation and reflectiveness of children's personality were the most influenced by children's room environmental characteristics. The environmental characteristics that are the most influential to children's personality were found to be order.

There have been many studies to find out association between the face characteristics and some diseases or the personality and the health state, but there have been few association studies between the face characteristics and the yin/yang personality. We would like to suggest that the yin/yang personality is associated with the face characteristics. We collected 1,471 subjects from the February, 2008 to July, 2010. We divided into three groups of subjects by a yin/yang personality score and analyzed the face characteristics after adjusting for age. The Analysis of Covariance and Scheffe test was conducted to certify the difference among three groups. P-value for significance was under 0.05. The significant face characteristics were SH36 in men, and FD50_51, SH36, FArea04, FAreaRatio4, FR01, FR05 in women. There is some association between the face characteristics and the yin/yang personality.
Objectives: This study examined the relationship among personality characteristics, eating habits and food neophobia of high school students. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire was applied to 512 students who were in the first and second grade in four different high schools in Gyeong-gi-province. The questionnaire was designed to examine the personality characteristics, eating habits, and food neophobia. Results: The personality characteristics of both boys and girls had intimacy, openness/intelligence, extroversion, sincerity, and emotional stability from highest to lowest. The girls (2.00) had better eating habits than the boys (1.90)(p<0.05). To examine the level of food neophobia using the FNS (Food Neophobia Scale), girls tended to score higher in the FNS than boys (36.36 vs. 34.06). The relationship between the personal characteristics and eating habits showed a positive correlation (p<0.01). The relationship between the personal characteristics and food neophoia revealed a negative correlation with all personal characteristics (p<0.01). Conclusions: The findings of the study confirmed the relationship among personal characteristics, eating habits, and food neophobia. This study is expected to provide ways to teach teenagers how to support their proper eating habits and personality characteristics.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of characteristics of advertising model on brand personality and the effect of brand personality on brand attitude; and analyze whether the characteristics of the advertising model have a direct effect on the brand attitude or indirectly through the brand personality. A survey was conducted from August 10, 2017 until August 31, 2017, and 400 respondents' survey results were analyzed. For data analysis, SPSS 23.0 was utilized to perform descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, and regression analysis. As a result, five brand personality factors were derived, which are aesthetics, safety/expertise, sophistication, pro-environment, youth, respectively. For advertising model characteristics, seven factors were derived, which are credibility, visibility, attractiveness, expertise, similarity, likeability, and familiarity, respectively. This study investigated the relationship between characteristics of cosmetics advertising model, brand personality, and brand attitude. Brand personality does not play a mediating role between advertising model's characteristics and brand attitude. Advertising model's characteristics have a direct effect on the brand attitude. Consequently, Cosmetics companies should recognize the importance of the characteristics of advertising model and implement the marketing strategy by carefully selecting the advertising model so that consumers can relate the characteristics of advertisement model to the brand attitude which will ultimately lead to positive evaluation of the brand.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the antecedents of city brand personality and those effects on city brand personality and attitude toward city. This study attempts to confirm dimensions of city characteristics and city brand personality, and analyze the structural relationships among the city characteristics, city brand personality and attitude toward city. The result showed that various characteristics of city (culture and historic characteristics, life stability, facility convenience, economic factors, the image of city appearance, nature friendly characteristics) influence city brand personalities. In addition, city brand personalities (vivid personality and stable personality) are positively related to attitude toward city and mediated between the characteristics of city and attitude toward city.

Objects: This study examined the relations among college students' personality characteristics, drink motivation, and drinking behavior. This study also examined the mediating effect of drink motivation on the relationship between college students' personality characteristics and drinking behavior. Methods: The subjects of this study were 210 college students(male: 50, female: 160) attending a university in Chungnam. College students completed the personality characteristics, drink motivation, and drinking behavior scales. The data was analyzed by means of Pearson's correlation coefficients and regressions. Results: Results indicated that college students' neuroticism and extroversion were significantly related to drinking behavior. Also, college students' social motivation and coping motivation were significantly related to drinking behavior. Especially, social motivation fully mediated the relationship between college students' neuroticism and extroversion and drinking behavior. Coping motivation fully and partially mediated the relationship between college students' neuroticism and extroversion and drinking behavior. Conclusions: In this study, the personality characteristics directly influence the drinking behavior, but they found the influence on the drinking behavior through the drink motivation. In particular, it is very necessary to intervene in the development of health education programs that can intervene in drink motivation for college students with neurotic characteristics.
