  • One of the reasons behind the surfacing of such issues is because the record does not exist and even if the records remained, it is because they are not being properly managed. In Korea, National institutions in the field of visual arts, currently there are no archives that manage only the records for the visual arts as an independent institution, and the reality is that the National Museum of Archives is still in the beginning stage as well. This study has conducted a research on the records collection strategy and the management of the record information of an author who is the creator of the visual arts as a starting point of the visual arts. For this purpose, the definition of visual arts and the concept of an author covered in this study will be examined and the types of documentary that may occur in the field of visual arts were analyzed. In addition, the history of an author is its personal record thus a personal history and private archive have been examined. Based on this background, the cases on the personal record and the management of the record information of domestic and foreign authors were analyzed and the implications were derived.

  • As a ubiquitous environment approaches and the use of the wireless Internet using the mobile terminals is on the increase. Therefore, the users have to undergo the inconvenience of repeatedly input the same information for the user registration and the ID certification. The information the users have to put in to register in on-line services range from the basic personal information to the more other private information such as financial information. Accordingly the user can be in control of users personal information and safely manage the information by conveniently selecting from the Digital ID Wallet the Ticket that holds various information including the basic, financial or payment certification-related information. Consequently, we propose a digital identity management mechanism to control one's personal information in a mobile environment.

  • Modern technology drives the world, increasing performance while reducing labor and time expenses. Tanzania Atomic Energy Commission (TAEC) tracks employee's levels of exposure to radiation sources using dosimeters. According to legal compliance, workers wear dosimeters for three months and one month at the workplace. However, TAEC has problems in tracking, issuing and returning dosimeters because the existing tracking is done manually. The study intended to develop a Personal Dose Management System (PDMS) that processes and manages the data collected by dosimeters for easy and accurate records. During the requirements elicitation process, the study looked at the existing system. PDMS' requirement gathering included document reviews, user interviews, and focused group discussions. Development and testing of the system were implemented by applying the evolutionary prototyping technique. The system provides a login interface for system administrators, radiation officers, and Occupational Exposed Workers. The PDMS grants TAEC Staff access to monitor individual exposed workers, prints individual and institutional reports and manages workers' information. The system reminds the users when to return dosimeters to TAEC, generate reports, and facilitates dispatching and receiving dosimeters effectively. PDMS increases efficiency and effectiveness while minimizing workload, paperwork, and inaccurate records. Therefore, based on the results obtained from the system, it is recommended to use the system to improve dosimeter data management at the institution.

  • In this paper, we introduce InfoDID, a robust user information management service based on DID that manages user information reliably. Since blockchain technology provides an environment in which data can be handled transparently on a decentralized basis, various services using blockchain are currently being developed As the importance of user's personal information has recently emerged, the DID technology is receiving attention. The technology allows a user to control his or her information through decentralized identifiers, and various information management services are being tried based on the technology. Using blockchain-based DID technology, InfoDID reliably controls personal information requested frequently, helping users to provide their information to other services more conveniently. In addition, to support service continuity, InfoDID uses BR2K technique that provides robust execution of blockchain application services, so that even partial service failures can be systematically recovered. To facilitate this operation, we present a replication status monitoring tool that can continuously check the replication states of blockchain application services running in association with the BR2K technique such as InfoDID.
