  • Personal computer based measurement and control system was constructed and tested in order to fiexibly apply it to laboratoy experiments in which environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, pH, DO and gases should be measured and controlled. Personal computer FC-80 was successively interfaced to the input-output system made up of PPI, A/D converter, D/A converter, programmable timer and USART boards. To test the system, pH control experiment was executed and the pH of the solution could be measured, expressed on the monitor and controlled at constant value.

데스크톱 가상화에 따른 디지털콘텐츠 통제방안: 가상폴더방식의 구현사례 (Digital Contents Control for Desktop Virtualization: A Case of Virtual Folder Based Implementation)

  • Recently, with the enlargement of cloud computing, virtual desktop infrastructure(VDI) can be an alternative of the existing personal computer based information environment. For the case of partially introduced VDI coexisting with personal computer environment, we suggest a virtual folder based approach to control the overall digital contents within an organization with a case of implementation. Although a centralizing device was used for storage and sharing of organization's digital contents, it was not easy to accomplish centralizing digital contents completely. It is tried to prevent users from utilizing their own storage in their personal computers or virtual machines and to use virtual folder which transfer and store digital contents to and in EDMS. The virtual folder system of this paper looks like a real folder in a personal computer, but it is another virtual device for outer storage devices including EDMS. It can be an alternative and reference of digital contents control for future applications of cloud computing.

  • 스마트폰에서 제공되는 위치정보 서비스를 이용하면 사용자는 편리하고 다양한 고부가가치 응용 프로그램을 사용할 수 있다. 하지만 스마트폰을 통해 제공되는 개인의 위치정보 서비스는 오히려 프라이버시 침해 문제를 야기할 수 있다. 따라서 스마트폰 위치정보는 각 개인이 자신의 위치 정보에 대한 접근허가 대상자 등을 직접 제어/관리할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 스마트폰에서 OTP 기반 인증 메커니즘을 적용하고 사용자 스스로 개인 위치정보를 접근 제어할 수 있는 프로토콜을 구현하였고 이를 통해 개인 위치정보를 보다 안전하게 관리할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다.

  • The greenhouse control system is designed by personal computer. This system should observe and control the growth conditions for crops in both plastic film and glass greenhouses. In this contribution puts emphasis on graphical user interface for greenhouse control system by personal computer under the aim of creating safer, more effective and more economical services. This system is developed for the requirements of the intelligent greenhouse control system and gives a lot of convenience for farmer who is not familiar with pc technique. The GUI and control system are programmed by Visual C++ and Visual Basic.

  • The advanced infrastructure for accelerating the development of personal robots is presented. Based on this structure, effective ways for integrating the various commercial components and interfacing among them are studied. The infrastructure includes the technology such as modularization based on independent processing and standardization open to other developers. The infrastructure supports not only that each hardware component of a personal robot can be easily attached to and detached from the whole system mechanically but also that each software of the components can be functionally distributed. As a result, we developed the fully modularized personal robots mechanically, and a virtual machine for the control of these robots. In this paper the proposed infrastructure and its implementations are described.

  • In this paper, the framework for accelerating the development of personal robots is presented, which includes the technology such as modularization with its own processing and standardization open to the other developers. Its basic elements are Module-D(Module of DRP I) characterized functionally and VM-D(Virtual Machine of DRP I) arbitrating Module-Ds. They can suggest the effective ways for integrating various robotic components and interfacing among them. Based on this framework, we developed a fully modularized personal robot called DRP I(Dynamically Reconfigurable Personal robot). Its hardware components are easily attached to and detached from the whole system. In addition, each software of the components is functionally distributed. For the materialization of the proposed idea, we mainly focus on the dynamically reconfigurable feature of DRP I.

공단지역 일부 주민들의 주택유형 및 실내/외에 따른 VOCs(Benzene, Toluene, Xylene) 농도 및 상관성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Correlation and Concentration in Volatile Organic Compounds(Benzene, Toluene, Xylene) Levels According to the Indoor/Outdoor and the Type of Residents' House in Industrial Area)

  • The objectives of this study were to understand the characteristics of residents in industrial areas and factors affecting exposure to the Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs : Benzene, Toluene, Xylene) as well as to assess exposure levels according to house-type, and whether residents were indoors or outdoors. This research was designed to assess the differences in exposure levels to indoor, outdoor and personal VOCs in a case group and a control group across all areas, as well as in each different area, from May to October 2007, in. 110 residents of the G, Y and H industrial areas of the Jun-nam province. The geometric mea-levels of airborne benzene for the case group 1.31part per billion(ppb) indoor, 1.29 ppb outdoor, and 1.32 ppb for personal exposure were significantly higher than for the control group 0.99, 0.87 and 0.57 ppb, respectively. The geometric mean level for toluene personal exposure across the G, Y and H areas was 5.70 ppb for the case group and 6.31 ppb for the control group. While the outdoor level was 4.27 ppb for the case group and 5.06 ppb for the control group, The indoor level for the case group was 4.78 ppb, similar to that of the control group 4.69 ppb. The geometric mean levels for airborne xylene across the G, Y and H areas were 0.16 ppb(outdoor), 0.12 ppb(personal exposure) and 0.10 ppb(indoor) for the case group, and for the control group were 0.17(personal exposure) and 0.09 ppb(indoor and outdoor). The indoor/outdoor(I/O) ratio for case group is 1.19, while that of the control group is 1.15, indicating that the indoor level was higher than the outdoor level. The interrelationship differences among the three different types of levels in the air in the G, Y and H areas are statistically significant, except for the difference between the indoor and outdoor figures for xylene. In terms of the different types of houses and energy type uesd, the geometric mean level for airborne benzene, toluene and xylene for houses were 1.61, 5.39 and 0.12 ppb, respectively. while the figures for flats were 0.67, 3.32 and 0.05 ppb, respectively. Outdoors, the levels of benzene and toluene in flats were 0.71 and 2.62 ppb, respectively. and 1.58 and 5.35 ppb in houses. For personal exposure, the house levels of benzene, toluene and xylene were all higher than for flats. Houses using oil for heating have significantly higher levels than flats, which use gas for heating.

대학생의 개인적 공정세상신념, 삶의 의미 발견, 자기통제력, 공격성의 구조적 관계: 성별 간 다집단 분석 (The Structural Relationship among Personal Belief in a Just World, Presence of Meaning in Life, Self-Control, and Aggression in College Students: Multigroup Analysis across Gender)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 개인적 공정세상신념, 삶의 의미 발견, 자기통제력, 공격성의 구조적 관계를 살펴보고, 이러한 관계가 성별에 따라 달라지는지 검증하고자 실시되었다. 이를 위해 대학생 427명의 자기보고식 설문자료를 수집하여 성별에 따른 다집단 분석을 실시하였다. 검증 결과, 개인적 공정세상신념은 성별과 무관하게 공격성을 직접적으로 예측하였다. 또한, 개인적 공정세상신념과 공격성의 관계에서 자기통제력의 단순매개 효과는 남녀 모두에서 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 개인적 공정세상신념이 삶의 의미와 자기통제력을 거쳐 공격성으로 이어지는 이중매개효과는 여성에게서만 유의하였다. 즉, 여성의 높은 개인적 공정세상신념이 삶의 의미 발견을 예측하며, 이것이 자기통제력과 연합되면서 공격성 저하에 기여하였다. 본 연구는 대학생의 공격성을 완화할 수 있는 구체적 기제가 성별에 따라 다르게 나타남을 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이러한 결과에 기초하여 개입 전략에 대해 논의하였다.

확장성표기언어(XML) 기반의 원격제어규약 표준 (XML Based Standard Protocol for Remote Control)

  • This paper presents an XML based standard specification of remote control protocol for home appliances. In the framework level, the XML protocol provides a useful bridge between services and platforms. The proposed protocol has been implemented into a personal video recorder for remote recording service. The results imply the potential of global standards for remote control by its minimum overhead in network and processor. The proposed XML is designated RCXML in this paper.

  • Measurement and control system of weld pool is comprised of optical devices, image processor, personal computer and welding machine. Combinations of ND and Infrared filters were used to block the intense arc light and to get the clearer image of weld pool. Smoothing operation and conversion to binary data were performed to eliminate the noises and to decrease the processing time. A simple algorithm for feedback control was developed and weld pool size is controlled by welding current which is adjusted automatically with personal computer.
