기존 도로포장 시방서는 계약자에게 포장 수명에 상관없이 재료 및 시공 상의 주어진 조건만을 만족하면 되도록 요구하고 있다. 이와 같은 시방 기준으로는 도로포장 기술 개발에 한계가 있으며 포장파손 발생 시 발주자와 계약자 간에 분쟁이 발생할 소지가 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 성능보증 계약제도를 도입하려는 연구가 도로포장 분야에서 진행되고 있다. 성능보증 계약제도는 계약자에게 재료와 공법을 마음대로 선정할 수 있는 기회를 부여하고 주어진 기간 동안 일정 수준 이상의 성능을 유지하도록 하는 제도이다. 성능보증 계약제도의 성공적인 도입을 위해서는 성능보증 시방서의 주요 요소인 포장의 성능인자와 임계한도가 먼저 정의되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 미국 몇 개 주에서 사용되는 성능보증 계약제도에 관한 문헌을 검토하여 아스팔트 포장의 성능인자, 임계한도, 그리고 성능보증 기간에 관한 조사를 실시하였다. 또한 국내 고속국도 중 24개 노선과 16개 지역의 일반국도 노선에서 아스팔트 포장의 성능에 영향을 미치는 주요 파손을 조사하고 분석하여 미국의 사례와 비교하였다. 본 연구결과를 근거로 국내 아스팔트 포장에 대한 합리적인 성능보증 시방이 개발될 것으로 예상된다.

This paper considers the problem of determining the optimal process mean and screening specification limits of a surrogate variable associated with product quality under two-stage screening procedure. In two-stage screening, the surrogate variable is inspected first to decide whether an item should be accepted, rejected or additional observations should be taken. If additional observations are required, the performance variable of interest is then observed to classify the undecided items. Assuming that the performance variable and the surrogate variable are jointly normally distributed, the optimal process mean and the screening limits are obtained by maximizing the expected profit which includes selling price, production, reprocessing, inspection and penalty costs. A numerical example is presented and numerical studies are performed to compare the proposed two-stage screening procedure with single-stage screening procedures.

아스팔트의 점탄성적 물성을 기준으로 하는 아스팔트의 등급을 분류하는 수퍼페이브 공용성 등급은 현재 나와있는 아스팔트 등급 중에서 그 이론적 배경이나 포장 공용성과의 관계에 있어서 비교적 우수한 등급으로 평가받고 있으나, 이러한 공용성 등급의 국내 적용을 위해서는 고가 시험장비의 도입, 실험 기술인력의 확보 등 국내 현실로서 넘기 어려운 여러 장벽들이 산재하고 있다. 최근에는 이러한 국내 현실을 이유로, 수퍼페이브 공용성 등급의 개념을 국내에 도입하되, 그 기준을 좀더 측정하기 쉬운 경험적 물성을 기준으로 하여 국내의 아스팔트 등급기준이 설정되어야 한다는 의견이 제시되고 있다. 본 논문은 아스팔트의 경험적 물성을 기준으로한 아스팔트의 공용성 등급의 설정 가능성을 타진하기 위한 연구로서, 국내에서 생산되는 9종의 스트레이트 아스팔트와 2종의 개질재가 첨가된 총 18종의 개질 아스팔트를 대상으로 시험된 경험적 물성과 수퍼페이브 공용성 등급 분류에 사용된 물성이 비교되었다. 연구결과, 침입도 등의 경험적 물성을 이용하여 국내현실에 맞는 아스팔트의 공용성 등급을 구성하는 것이 가능할 것으로 판단되며, 이러한 아스팔트 등급의 구성을 위한 체계적인 연구가 수행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

This study focuses on applying performance-based design to construction standard in building construction. First, it realizes situation and issues of standard specification in building construction, deduces the need factors for establishing performance-based construction standard, and then, it proposes the application of performance standard. The required stages for deducing performance-based construction standard consist of dividing building parts, deducing required functions, performance items and performance requirement and deciding a method of performance evaluation. Through these stages, performance-based design process is deduced.

A new specification-based analog and mixed-signal test technique using high performance current sensors is proposed. The proposed technique using current sensors built in external ATE has little hardware overhead in circuit under test and high testability without time consuming operation of test point placement algorithm.

In this paper, an automatic histogram specification method is proposed for image enhancement, Fuzzy membership value is adopted for the representation of image histogram. The desired PDF is automatically constructed by the fuzzy membership value. Fuzzy membership value is extracted from dark membership, bright membership function and original histogram. The effectual results are demonstrated by desired PDF which meet the image enhancement requirements. The performance and effectiveness are shown by the analysis and the resultant image in comparison with histogram equalization method.

This study was conducted to investigate the seismic behavior assessment of circular reinforcement concrete bridge piers particularly with regard to assessing the displacement ductility curvature ductility response modification factor(R) and plastic hinge region etc, The experimental variables of bridge piers test consisted of transverse steel details amount and spacing different axial load levels etc. The test results indicated that reinforcement concrete bridge piers with confinement steel by the code specification exhibited suffcient ductile behavior and seismic performance. Also it is found that current seismic design code specification of confinement steel requirements may be revised.

GOES 계열 정지궤도 위성 기상 영상기의 적외선 채널에 사용되는 분광 응답 성능 규격을 분석하였다. 성능 규격 범위 내에서 분광 응답 함수 모양 변화에 따른 유효 중심 파장(Effective Wavelength)과 유효 입력광 Radiance (Effective Input Radiance)의 변동 특성을 분석함으로써 분광 응답 규격 해석 방법을 제시하였다. 구체적 분석 방법으로서 먼저 분광 응답 규격 범위 내에서 중앙 대칭 분광 응답 함수와 함께 최악 경우에 해당하는 4 가지 대표적인 분광 응답 함수들을 선택하고, 각 분광 응답 함수에 대해 적외선 채널의 유효 중심 파장과 유효 입력광 Radiance를 구하였다. 결론으로서 성능 규격의 범위 내에서 허용되는 유효 중심 파장과 유효 입력광 Radiance의 최대 변동 범위를 제시하였다.

Testing of mixed-signal circuit has become a difficult task for test engineers and efficient test solution to these problems are needed. In this paper a new specification-based mixed-signal test method called TSS(Time Slot Specification) using high performance current sensors and a novel test point selection technique without heavy computational overhead are proposed. External output and power nodes are used for test points and accessed by the current sensors in the ATE.
