무기질계 영구거푸집의 성능평가를 위한 실험적 연구 (The Experimental Study for Inorganic Permanent Form's Performance Evaluation)

  • To do performance evaluations about inorganic permanent form mixed in admixture(fly ash, silica fume) and after placed concrete, it is examined reinforcement materials in the permanent form from shear strength, bond strength and flexural strength tests. In this study, permanent form was inserted with reinforcement metal fitting is strength-tested in several method. The result of this study is belows. (1) In bond strength test, Most specimens are satisfied with criterion-6 kgf/$cm^2$. (2) Irrelative with the inserted metal fitting's shape, unevenness and aggregate, Permanent form and after placed concrete have good condition in the shear strength test. (3) In flexural test, there is no drop out of permanent form. Most cracks are located in nearby the strain point.

  • This study introduces the design methods for air flow distribution at the level of preliminary design, and reviews the typical combustion process and main functions of sub-components of aircraft gas turbine combustors. There are lots of design approaches and empirical equations introduced for air flow distributions at the combustors. It is shown that a decision on which design approaches work for the combustor development is totally dependent upon the objective of engine design, target performance, and so on. The current results suggested for preliminary air flow distributions need to be validated by combustor geometry checkups and performance evaluations for future works.

  • It is important to remove fog for accurate object recognition and detection during preprocessing because images taken in foggy adverse weather suffer from poor quality of images due to scattering and absorption of light, resulting in poor performance of various vision-based applications. This paper proposes an end-to-end deep learning-based single image de-fogging method using U-Net architecture. The loss function used in the algorithm is a loss function based on Mahalanobis distance with fog features, which solves the problem of domain shifts, and demonstrates superior performance by comparing qualitative and quantitative numerical evaluations with conventional methods. We also design it to generate fog through the VGG19 loss function and use it as the next training dataset.

  • This research implemented grammatical rules for relationship extraction from class diagram candidate. The problem statement is generated by our algorithm to yield class diagram and candidate relationship candidates. The relationships of class diagrams are extracted automatically from the problem statement by using Natural Language Processing (NLP). The extraction used the grammatical rules that obtained from various sources and translated into our algorithm. The performance evaluation of the extraction algorithm used ATM problem statements. The application captures the problem statement and draws automatically the relations of class diagrams using Forced-Directionality Graph algorithm. The performance evaluations show refining methods for class diagram and relationships extraction improve recall score.

  • Recently, a convolutional neural network (CNN) models at single image super-resolution have been very successful. Residual learning improves training stability and network performance in CNN. In this paper, we compare four convolutional neural network models for super-resolution (SR) to learn nonlinear mapping from low-resolution (LR) input image to high-resolution (HR) target image. Four models include general CNN model, global residual learning CNN model, local residual learning CNN model, and the CNN model with global and local residual learning. Experiment results show that the results are greatly affected by how skip connections are connected at the basic CNN network, and network trained with only global residual learning generates highest performance among four models at objective and subjective evaluations.

An optimization framework of a parametric Octabuoy semi-submersible design

  • An optimization framework using genetic algorithms has been developed towards an automated parametric optimization of the Octabuoy semi-submersible design. Compared with deep draft production units, the design of the shallow draught Octabuoy semi-submersible provides a floating system with improved motion characteristics, being less susceptible to vortex induced motions in loop currents. The relatively large water plane area results in a decreased natural heave period, which locates the floater in the wave period range with more wave energy. Considering this, the hull design of Octabuoy semi-submersible has been optimized to improve the floater's motion performance. The optimization has been conducted with optimized parameters of the pontoon's rectangular cross section area, the cone shaped section's height and diameter. Through numerical evaluations of both the 1st-order and 2nd-order hydrodynamics, the optimization through genetic algorithms has been proven to provide improved hydrodynamic performance, in terms of heave and pitch motions. This work presents a meaningful framework as a reference in the process of floating system's design.

발달지연 아동의 학교준비도 향상을 위한 작업치료 프로그램 효과에 대한 사례 연구: 적응기술, 일상생활기술 영역을 중심으로 (A Case Study on the Effects of Occupational Therapy Program on Improving School Readiness in Children With Developmental Delays: Focusing on Adaptation and Daily Living Skills)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 발달지연 아동을 대상으로 작업치료 프로그램이 학교준비도의 적응기술 영역과 일상생활 기술 영역에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 발달 지연의 만 5세 8개월 남아 1명을 대상으로 하였다. 프로그램은 1주일에 2번, 4주 동안 총 8회기 진행되었다. Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM)를 실시하였으며 목표 활동은 수업 준비하기와 화장실 이용하기였다. 사전-사후 검사와 후속 평가를 통하여 대상자의 변화를 비교하였다. 자료 분석은 대상자의 수행을 비디오로 녹화하여 실시하였다. 결과 : COPM의 결과는 수업 준비하기와 화장실 이용하기에서 수행도와 만족도 모두 향상을 보였다. 처리기술은 수업 준비하기에서 7개, 화장실 이용하기에서 8개의 향상을 나타냈다. 작업 수행 관찰결과 수업 준비하기와 화장실 이용하기에서 사후 검사와 후속 평가에서 향상된 결과를 나타냈다. 결론 : 작업치료는 발달지연 아동의 학교준비도 적응기술과 일상생활기술을 향상시키며 학교준비에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.

소비자상담사의 업무수행, 만족도 및 업무지속의사에 대한 연구 (Study on Consumer Counselors' Work Performance, Satisfaction and Willingness to Sustain the Work)

  • This research examined the work performance by consumer counselors, evaluations of their counseling work, the level of their satisfaction, and willingness to sustain consumer counseling work among Consumer Agencies and also identified the variables influencing the evaluation scores on those. The results were summarized as follows. First, the evaluation scores on the work performance of consumer counseling were generally high and they turned out to be generally satisfied with their work. On the other hand, most counselors responded that they would continue their counseling work. Second, there were differences in evaluation scores about speed and specialized area of counseling among Consumer Agencies. Counselors who worked for the Korea Consumer Protection Board recorded high scores in those both criteria. There were differences in the willingness of counselors to continue their counseling work among Consumer Agencies, too. Third, the evaluation scores in six areas of counseling tasks were high when the degree of satisfaction of counselors were high or when agencies treated the counseling important. Fourth, when counselors earned more salaries and owned the experience of in-firm training and when the Consumer Agencies highly valued counseling as consumer tasks, the degree of satisfaction among counselors increased. Finally, when counselors were old, major in consumer science, and held regular work-schedule, they exhibited high degree of satisfaction in their counseling work and they showed greater willingness to sustain their counseling work.

System Modeling and Robust Control of an AMB Spindle : Part II A Robust Controller Design and its Implementation

  • This paper discusses an entire procedure for a robust controller design and its implementation of an AMB (active magnetic bearing) spindle, which is part II of the papers presenting details of system modeling and robust control of an AMB spindle. Since there are various uncertainties in an AMB system and reliability is the most important factor for applications, robust control naturally gains attentions in this field. However, tight evaluations of various uncertainties based on experimental data and appropriate performance weightings for an AMB spindle are still ongoing research topics. In addition, there are few publications on experimental justification of a designed robust controller. In this paper, uncertainties for the AMB spindle are classified and described based on the measurement and identification results of part I, and an appropriate performance weighting scheme for the AMB spindle is developed. Then, a robust control is designed through the mixed ${\mu}$ synthesis based on the validated accurate nominal model of part I, and the robust controller is reduced considering its closed loop performance. The reduced robust controller is implemented and confirmed with measurements of closed-loop responses. The AMB spindle is operated up to 57,600 rpm and performance of the designed controller is compared with a benchmark PID controller through experiments. Experiments show that the robust controller offers higher stiffness and more efficient control of rigid modes than the benchmark PID controller.

암시적 클러스터기반 애드 혹 멀티캐스트 기법 성능 평가 및 분석 (Performance Evaluation and Analysis of Implicit Cluster-based Ad hoc Multicast Mechanism)

  • 무선 애드 혹(ad hoc) 망에서 제안된 응용계층 기반 멀티캐스트 선행 연구는 크게 계층적 구조와 비계층적 라우팅 구조를 갖는 멀티캐스팅 기법으로 분류된다. 이들 제안된 기법들은 애드 흑 노드들의 이동성 변화를 실시간으로 멀티캐스트 라우팅 경로 갱신을 위해 반영하지 못한다. 그러므로, 에너지, 전송률, 시간지연 등 여러 가지 성능 저하의 원인이 된다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해, 이미 앞선 연구를 통해 암시적 클러스터 기반 멀티캐스트 기법을 제안하였다. 본 논문은 그의 특성을 분석하고 선행 연구된 응용 계층 기반 프로토콜들과 실험을 통한 성능을 검증하고자 한다.
