장애인거주시설 인권의 중요도와 실행도 차이에 대한 탐색적 연구: 경기도, 경상북도, 전라남도 지역을 중심으로 (Exploratory Study on the Differences between the Importance and Performance of Programs of Human Rights in the Disabled Residential Facilities: Focused on Directors of the Disabled Residential Facilities in Gyeonggi-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Jeollanam-do)

  • 본 연구는 장애인거주시설 인권의 중요도 인식과 현재 실행도와의 차이를 비교하여 이러한 차이를 극복할 수 있는 실천전략을 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 경기, 경북, 전남지역 시설장 114명을 대상으로 장애인거주시설 인권의 인식 수준과 실행수준은 어느 정도인지, 중요도 인식과 현재 실행도 간의 차이가 존재하는지에 대한 경험적 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 거주시설 인권이 중요하다는 인식을 공유하고 있다는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 거주시설 인권영역의 중요도와 실행도 수준의 차이분석에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중요도와 실행도의 차이를 극복할 수 있는 실천전략을 수립하고자 IPA matrix 분석결과를 제시하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 실천적 함의와 향후 과제를 제시하였다.

국내 및 해외 유명 화장품 브랜드의 선호도와 성과에 미치는 영향요인 (Affecting variables on brand preference and performance of domestic and imported cosmetics brands)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify brand equity factors influencing on brand preference and to investigate the effects of preference, price acceptability, distribution proximity, and appropriateness on brand performance of domestic and imported cosmetics brands. A total of 300 women aged between 20 and 49 years were surveyed on two domestic brands and two imported brands that were well-known to consumers during the month of September, 2006, in Seoul, Daejeon, Gyeonggi-do, and Chungcheong-do. The data were analyzed with factorial analysis, multiple regression analysis, ANOVA, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, etc., using the SPSS 12.0. The result of the study included: 1) Four factors of brand equity were identified: brand image, social reputation, quality, and brand awareness. 2) Brand image, quality, appropriateness, and brand performance of the domestic brands were higher than those of the imported brands. But brand awareness of the imported brands was higher than that of the domestic brands. 3) Brand preference of the domestic brands was affected by social reputation, quality, brand image, and brand awareness in order of significance. And brand performance of the domestic brands was affected by brand preference, appropriateness, price acceptability and distribution proximity in order of significance. 4) Brand preference of the imported brands was affected by brand image, social reputation, brand awareness, and quality in order of significance. And brand performance of the imported brands was affected by appropriateness, price acceptability, brand preference, and distribution proximity in order of significance.

종합병원에 근무하는 간호인력의 감성리더십과 조직성과 간의 관계 (The relationship between emotional intelligence in leadership and organizational performance of nurses in general hospitals)

  • In order to effectively attain the objectives of an organization, it is important for the leader to provide an environment where members can co-exist and mutually advance, and also to have an emotional impact on them. This study examines the structural relationship among emotional intelligence in leadership, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, turnover intention, and organizational performance effects of emotional leadership in the nursing profession of a general hospital. A structured questionnaire was sent to 550 nurses in 11 general hospitals in Seoul Metropolitan City, among which 350 responses were used in the analysis. The independent variable, emotional intelligence in leadership, was measured by 18 items, including self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness and relationship management. The dependent variable, organizational effectiveness, consisted of 46 items, including 15 items regarding organizational commitment, 20 items on job satisfaction, 3 items on turnover intention and 8 items on organizational performance. The structural equation modeling technique was used to identify the impact of emotional intelligence in leadership on organizational effectiveness. The results of the analysis show that the emotional intelligence in leadership of superior nurses has a significant impact on the nurses'organizational commitment and job satisfaction. While the direct effect on turnover intention and organizational performance was not significantly high, organizational commitment and job satisfaction were parameters in low turnover intention and high job performance. In conclusion, emotional intelligence in leadership is critical as nursing services in hospitals are based on interpersonal relationships. Therefore, by developing appropriate programs and training, hospitals can anticipate improved self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness and relationship management of nurses, and further improve the effectiveness of the nursing profession.

정신간호사의 의료기관인증제 인식과 직무만족도가 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 (The influence of Psychiatric Nurse's Awareness of Medical Institution Certification and Job Satisfaction on Nursing Performance)

  • 본 연구는 정신건강의학병원 간호사를 대상으로 의료기관인증제 인식, 직무만족도 및 간호업무성과의 상관관계를 확인하고, 간호업무성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 설문지를 통해 정신건강의학병원에 재직 중인 간호사 140명을 대상으로 하였고, 기간은 2018년도 8월부터 10월까지였다. 연구결과 의료기관인증제 인식은 3.35점, 직무만족도는 3.32점, 간호업무성과는 3.74점이었다. 연구결과에서 간호업무성과에 영향을 주는 요인은 직무만족도와 정신과 근무경력이었고 설명력은 40.2%였다. 본 연구결과는 정신간호사의 간호업무성과 향상을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

응급실 간호사의 회복탄력성, 환자안전관리에 대한 인식, 선도적 행위가 표준주의 수행에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Resilience, Awareness of Patient Safety Management, and Proactive Behavior on Performance of Standard Precautions among Nurses Working in Emergency Department)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the correlations among resilience, the awareness of patient safety management, proactive behavior, and the performance of standard precautions among nurses working in the emergency department. Additionally, it aimed to identify the factors influencing the performance of standard precautions. Methods: Data were collected through a descriptive survey conducted between June 10 and July 9, 2023. The participants included 208 nurses working in the emergency department in Korea. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WINdows software version 29.0, based on the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: The analysis based on the participants' general characteristics showed that performance of standard precautions varied significantly according to age (t=2.10, p=.036), size of the emergency department (F=7.46, p<.001), average number of patients treated per day while working in the past month (t=-3.88, p<.001) and standard precautions training experience (t=2.16, p=.032). The main factors influencing the performance of standard precautions among nurses working in the emergency department are awareness of patient safety management (β=.62, p<.001), resilience (β=.18, p=.042), and age (β=-.15, p=.007), with a total explanatory power of approximately 46.0%. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish programs and an effective education system to increase resilience and awareness in patient safety management to improve the performance of standard precautions among nurses working in the emergency department.

Development of an Autonomous Situational Awareness Software for Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

  • Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are increasingly needed as they can replace manned aircrafts in dangerous military missions. However, because of their low autonomy, current UAVs can execute missions only under continuous operator control. To overcome this limitation, higher autonomy levels of UAVs based on autonomous situational awareness is required. In this paper, we propose an autonomous situational awareness software consisting of situation awareness management, threat recognition, threat identification, and threat space analysis to detect dynamic situational change by external threats. We implemented the proposed software in real mission computer hardware and evaluated the performance of situational awareness toward dynamic radar threats in flight simulations.

종합병원 간호사의 다제내성균 감염관리 수행도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Performance of MultiDrug-Resistant Organisms Infection Control in Nurses of General Hospital)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing performance of MultiDrug-Resistant Organisms (MDROs) infection control by nurses in general hospitals. Methods: The research design was a descriptive survey design using convenience sampling. Data were collected from 130 nurses working in 6 general hospitals. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program for descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. Results: General hospital nurses' MDROs infection control performance was influenced by their awareness of environmental safety, recognition of MDROs infection control, number of beds in the hospital, whether nurses had nursing experience with infection control and guidelines for MDROs infection control. The most important predictors of MDROs infection control performance were awareness of environmental safety and recognition of MDROs infection control. Conclusion: Findings indicate that it is necessary to include content related to awareness of environmental safety and recognition of infection control in developing MDROs infection control education programs for general hospital nurses.

보건소 치과위생사의 직업윤리 수행정도 (Vocational ethics performance of health center-based dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: This study analyzed the views, awareness and performance of vocational ethics of dental hygienists employed in health centers. Methods: A survey was conducted on 197 dental hygienists who attended the National Health Association job training session. SPSS WIN 22.0 was used to analyze the results. Results: The vocational ethics that dental hygienists valued the most was integrity, followed by expertise and integrity. The awareness level of vocational ethics was 93.3% and observance level was 97.4%. The methods of information gathering were 34.5% 'off-the-job training' and 34.0% for 'at work or employment SOP' The highest of vocational ethics performance was responsibility, marked 4.25. Significant differences were observed in fairness, cooperation and vocation between different general characteristics such as age, employment history, marital status, work region, and major responsibilities. Conclusions: It is necessary to evaluate the vocational ethics performance of dental hygienists based in health centers in order to develop programs for ethical guidelines and institutional principles to help decision making.

An Investigation Study on the Role and Performance Ability of Physical Therapists in the Community Care System for Elderly

  • Purpose: A survey was conducted to investigate the role, priority, and awareness of physical therapists in the community care system for the elderly. Methods: Nine hundred ninety-three physical therapists were invited to an online survey from 1st to 30th June 2020. Results: While the awareness of physical therapists for the community care system for the elderly was found to be low, the role priority and performance ability were found to be high. Fall training scored the highest for the job duties of physical therapists, and functional training scored the highest for the performance ability of physical therapists. For the role priority by the education status regarding the community care system, the participants who received the education program showed higher scores in the performance ability than those who did not. For the role priority and performance ability according to the education levels, higher education levels resulted in higher scores in both outcomes. Regarding the clinical experience, low scores were found in the participants with less than five years of experience. Conclusion: Physical therapy establishes itself as an essential area of expertise in the community care system for the elderly. Therefore, these results can be utilized in developing a model for Korean community care for the elderly.

노인 커뮤니티케어제도 내 작업치료사의 업무중요도와 수행에 대한 인식 (Awareness of the Job Task Importance and Performance of Occupational Therapists in the Elderly Community Care System)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 노인 커뮤니티케어제도 및 제도 내에서 작업치료사 업무중요도와 수행에 대한 인식도를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구방법 : 전국의 152명의 작업치료사들을 대상으로 2019년 5월 31일부터 2019년 6월 24일까지 온라인 설문지를 통하여 조사하였다. 기술통계를 사용하여 일반적 특성, 제도 인식도, 역할과 수행 인식도를 분석하였고, 근무연수, 근무지역, 업무 분야에 따른 차이를 비교하기 위해서 ANOVA를 실시하였다. 결과 : 국내 작업치료사들의 노인 커뮤니티케어제도에 대한 인식은 2.93±1.049점으로 상대적으로 낮았으나, 커뮤니티케어제도의 중요도는 3.94±0.799점, 제도 내 작업치료사 역할의 중요도는 4.34±0.763점으로 높게 나타났다. 작업치료사의 업무의 중요도는 낙상 예방(4.63±0.7)이 가장 높게 나타났고, 수행도는 수단적 일상생활 활동 훈련 (3.94±0.8), 신체 기능 증진훈련(3.94±0.8)이 높게 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구는 노인 커뮤니티케어제도 내 작업치료사 업무중요도와 수행 인식도에 대한 기초자료로서 제시될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 향후 노인 커뮤니티케어제도 내 작업치료사의 역할 정착을 위한 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.
