JeJu Island is famous for beautiful scenery but relatively little attention was paid to social cultural attractions. My aim is to provide an alternative attraction for JeJu destination. Two main goals of this paper are to apply to the Pine and Gilmore Experience Economy Theory framework on performance arts experiences and identify causal relations among experience factor, experience satisfaction and performance loyalty. To accomplish the study object, theoretical review and empirical analysis were jointly carried out. Using samples of 280 participations in nonverbal comic performance 'Nanta' who were required to rate performance experiences, experiences satisfaction, and performance loyalty. Results of SEM(Structured Equation Model) was showed that only Entertainment factor of 4 experiences factors(aesthetics, entertainment, education, escapist) affected experiences satisfaction. While experiences satisfaction affected performance loyalty. These results support the concept of experiential Economy framework suggested by Pine and Gilmore on culture-arts products consumption.
This paper confirmed the roles of images of performance arts, through an analysis of the performance arts realizing media augmented reality, and proceeded audience studies through t-test for verifying the results. As a result, the images used for the performance arts interacted with the audiences through mixing of media, and led to satisfaction for the performance through strong flow and understanding. For some parts, however, an indiscreet use of images caused audiences, who are still familiar with traditional performance arts, to react exclusively toward the media. Eventually, at this time trying new change, convergence media performance arts with images need to orchestrate performance arts and media, so that multiple audiences can easily understand and enjoy, and make an effort to let the audiences get satisfaction based on various experiences. For this, a producer should dedicate to create strategic performance arts contents that can provide professional new knowledge and information, considering even audiences' recognition, as well as their perceptional and psychological characteristics.
In studying culture consumption today, it is essential to understand and analyze the actual visitors' experiences in detail. This is deeply related to the fact that we can utilize subjective experience records that were previously inaccessible as data since plenty of people actually record many performance experiences in the media space such as social media. This study attempts to examine what elements actually consists of people's performance experience based on actual expression of the performance experience that exists online. For this, we collected two types of data. First, we collected posts which required performance recommendation on online platforms such as Jisik-In and Cafes to see how people describe what they want and analyzed data focusing on the modifiers. Results show that people mainly use modifiers that reflect the specific situation of the individual such as companion or age. In addition we analyzed how the experience was described after the show through the review posts of ticket booking site. Results show how expressions are centered around companions, revisit intentions, and viewing experiences besides elements such as story and music, which have been known as main satisfaction elements of performance experience in previous studies. In addition, we discussed the practical implications and limitations of the study as well as the theoretical discussion.

Recently, many performing arts facilities are under construction to accommodate people's various interest in cultural experiences. However, due to Korea's lack of know-how in such constructions and an absence of proper regulations on design planning, each designer designs and constructs the facilities differently, so several problems are occurring in the process of construction, such as high production cost for stage sets, high labor cost, low efficiency of stage work, and complicated work process. This resulted in low quality production of performance. This study is conducted to address the need for a systematic study on stage floor, and to propose an efficient way of regulating stage work in existing performing arts facilitiesand new facilities to be built. By a comparative analysis of performing arts facilities in Korea, and by analyzing stage floors of the facilities, this research suggests minimum modules as well as an appropriate unit of modules based on the minimum modules; and provides basic data on stage floors, which can be used for remodeling existing facilities orfor planning new cultural facilities. Also, this study suggests various ways of utilizing performing arts facilities in Korea.
The service industry will be essentially extended during the economic growth and industrial development. Especially, the role of workers meeting the customers in service industry is very important from the view point of purchase intention. So many companies in service industry endeavor to increase the work efficacies of workers through the various prizes and incentives, and improve the job performance by additional education. Recently, the incentive tours are comprehensively accepted as an efficient tool to promote the loyalty and job performance of workers. The incentive tours enable the worker to gain the cultural experiences. They will experience not only the natural heritages and antiques, but also the local life culture and arts culture. This article analyzes the exhibition of the experience for the children using the performance of the at the National Theater Performing Arts Museum. The important part of an exhibition or educational program for children should be a program that can be communicated so that the child can develop the strength to think for himself / herself as a 'subject' rather than a 'target' of the program. The purpose of this article is to analyze the case of exhibitions that solved the 'make-up' part of the performance stage by linking the performance of the concert with the experience in mind. In addition, I would like to take an opportunity to look at the case of how the performance of , which was the theme of this exhibition, was utilized as an exhibition and what kind of experiences it was composed of, and to think about the better direction of children's experience exhibition in connection with the performance.
Purpose - There have been not enough studies on the ways customer Moment of Truth(MOT) activities are structured along with consumption chain and their influences as well as the relative influences of service quality at Moment of Truth on customer performance. Therefore, customer service needs needed at Moment of Truth may differ depending on whether these distribution services are at introduction-growth stages or maturity-decline stage already, but there is no study which illustrates this. Research design, data, and methodology - This study selects VoIP and IPTV as the household telecommunication and distribution services at introduction-growth stages as well as high speed internet and wire telephone as those at maturity-decline stages. Then it identifies which experiences that customers have at Moment of Truth by each service as well as the influences related to what the customers consider as important. Results - As the result of demonstration with the target of 858 respondents, customers' experiences and requests differ at Moment of Truth. For service quality, what takes the positive roles in customer performance includes corporeality and certainty for the services at introduction-growth stages as well as reliability, sympathy, and mutuality for those at maturity-decline stages. Conclusions - Implications of these results as well as further directions for study are suggested.
This study starts from an experience-oriented perspective that raises the need to examine the individual's cultural consumption experience with qualitative approach. In particular, this study aims to analyze in-depth the journey of the performance experience by connecting with offline-based social relationships as well as online-based informative and communicative behaviors. For this, in-depth interviews were conducted with 15 teams (30 people) by setting up two people as research units, and self-recorded data using the mobile application were collected. Results showed that social media and online communication play an important role before and after the performance in amplifying the performance experience and the consumer's taste developments. This study also found that relational aspects of the performance experience by identifying the significance of the partners and the existence of the cultural taste leader. For each result, there was a difference among audience proficiency: enthusiastic, interested, and indifferent audiences. Based on these results, we suggest that the performance experience should not be limited to the performance itself, but should be understood in a comprehensive manner before and after the performance, and that the consumption of the performance takes place in a social relationship, not in an individual's own experience only.
The meaning and context of objects has been changed in various ways depending on the times. Functionality of objects has been developed in various directions according to the point of view of the objects. Objects have been used as mediums to realize art in daily life, and to realize the relational forms. Based on this, it is confirmed that furniture can be an appropriate medium to articulate everyday life and to derive relational form. The 'furniture as a behavior' has the following characteristics. First, it functions to make daily life unfamiliar. By doing something unfamiliar in everyday life, users experience similar experiences as when they entered the surreal world of art museum. In this way, the possibility of everyday arts is acquired. Second, the mental and behavioral functions of furniture are continuously changed by interaction with the user. Behavior does not occur unconsciously, but involves changes in consciousness that the user intentionally does. Therefore, as the user's level of consciousness grows, personal experience changes, and the behavioral function of the household changes. The study of 'furniture as a behavior' is suggested as one approach to design furniture.
This study investigated the effect a fashion model's self-expression has on stage confidence, commitment, and satisfaction. The differences in stage confidence, commitment and satisfaction were analyzed by comparing the frequency of fashion show experiences. A survey was conducted using convenience sampling of professional male and female fashion models at fashion venues (Dongdaemoon Design Plaza) and model agencies from March 2, 2017 through April 10, 2017. A total of 248 questionnaires were obtained and SPSS 21.0 was used for data analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the analysis indicated a fashion model's self-expression factors, including movement, meaning, and individuality, had positively impacted the model's psychological and physical confidence, while acting ability negatively impacted such confidences. Secondly, movement meaning, expressive impulse, and individuality had positive impacts on behavioral commitment. A model's expressive impulse was also found to have a positive impact on cognitive commitment. In addition, acting ability negatively impacted behavioral commitment, while it affected cognitive commitment positively. Third, a high level of psychological and physical confidences about fashion shows, as well as a high level of behavioral and cognitive commitment, had a positive impact on fashion-show satisfaction. There were significant differences in cognitive commitment and fashion-show satisfaction by frequency of fashion show experiences. The findings can be utilized to understand the psychological factors that affect a fashion model's performance in order to increase the model's fashion-show satisfaction. It is also expected to provide useful information to enhance the quality of fashion shows.
