An optoelectronic database filter chip for high performance database computers and applications is proposed. The proposed device is designed to perform the selection and projection operations of relational database operation on-the-fly in page-parallel manner to increase the overall performance of a database system. The device utilizes CMOS smart pixel array consists of detector and combinational logic circuit to perform the selection and projection operation.

Modulation and demodualtion circuits of chaos frequency shift keying have been implemented using chua's circuits. The modulatin circuit, which is designed ot perform the frequency-doubling by coupled synchronization wihtout changing the intrinsic characteristics of its two chaos signals generated, modulates the digital input signals. The demodulation circuit detects the digital input signals form carrier by drive synchronization. these circuits, which are simplest until now and have no restriction to their digital input amplitudes, perform the aimed functions.

Quality audit is one of tools to evaluate the effectiveness and compliance of quality system. Quality system will be improved through quality audit. This paper describes the considerations such as audit team, audit process, audit checklist and auditor's communication skills to perform effective quality audit. The result of quality audit depends on the auditees attitudes. Thus, the auditor's manner is very important to gain a good audit result.

Carotid duplex ultrasound is commonly used to diagnose various carotid artery diseases due to it being noninvasive and easy to perform. Carotid atherosclerosis is a major indicator for the need to perform carotid duplex ultrasound, which can determine the degree of stenosis, plaque characteristics, and intima-media thickness. It can also be used to screen and follow-up after carotid revascularization. Here we discuss the standard techniques, interpretations, and clinical indicators for carotid duplex ultrasounds.

현재의 컴퓨팅 환경에서 기업이나 조직내의 사용자들은 다른 사용자와 자원을 공유하며 상호작용을 통하여 보다 효율적으로 작업을 수행하게 된다. 이 경우 공유하는 자원이나 정보의 불법적인 사용을 막고 데이터의 무결성을 유지하기 위하여 사용자의 인증과정이 필요하며, 또한 사용자의 작업에 대한 접근 제어(Access Control)의 필요성이 더욱 중요시되고 있다. 임의적 접근 제어(DAC)는 객체의 소유자에게 모든 위임의 권한이 주어지고 강제적 접근 제어(MAC)의 경우에는 주체와 객체단위의 정책 적용이 어려운 단점이 있다. 최근에는 역할-기반접근 제어를 이용하여 조직의 보안 정책을 보다 효율적이고 일관성 있게 관리하고자 하는 시도가 있다. 하지만 역할-기반 접근 제어의 경우 각 역할의 계층에 의하여 권한의 상속이 결정되는 문제가 발생한다. 하지만, 하위 개념의 역할이 상위 개념이 가지는 역할의 권한을 수행 하여야 하는 경우가 발생하는데 기존의 역할-기반 접근 제어 모델은 상기의 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법이 존재하지 않고 역할에 새로운 권한을 추가해야만 하는 문제가 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 역할이 가지는 권한의 일시적인 위임을 통하여 이를 해결 하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 권한의 위임을 수행하기 위한 새로운 모델과 새로운 역할-권한 관계의 정의, 권한 위임을 수행하는 위임 서버, 그리고 이를 수행하는 프로토콜을 제시한다.

센서 네트워크 기술은 이러한 센서 노드를 특정한 지역에 대량으로 배치하여 네트워크를 구성한 후 센서 노드를 정보 제공의 매체로 활용하는 기술이다. 센서 노드는 매우 제한적인 하드웨어 자원을 가지고 있기 때문에 효율적인 자원 관리와 센서 네트워크상에서의 다양한 응용 환경을 제공하는 운영체제가 필요하다. 또한 원격 코드 업데이트는 이미 배포된 네트워크에서 응용 프로그램의 오류가 발생하여 이를 수정하거나 성능 개선을 위해 꼭 필요한 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 원격 코드 업데이트가 용이한 새로운 센서 노드용 운영체제, EPRCU(Easy to Perform Remote Code Update)를 제안한다. EPRCU는 이벤트 드리븐 방식의 실행 모델에서 에이징(Aging) 기법을 적용한 우선순위 기반의 프로세스 스케줄링 방식을 사용한다. 작업의 기본 단위인 프로세스는 로더에 의한 동적 메모리 할당 및 프로그램 메모리 관리 기능을 제공함으로써 무선 통신을 이용한 코드 업데이트 수행이 용이할 뿐만 아니라 다양한 센서 네트워크 응용에도 적합하다.

Purpose: The study aimed to investigate elementary and secondary school teacher's knowledge, attitude, and self-efficacy regarding cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and explore which factors affect their intention to perform CPR. Methods: A descriptive correlational study design was utilized. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaire from 147 teachers. Statistical analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, t-test, 𝑥² test, F-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and logistic regression with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: The average of knowledge, attitude and self-efficacy on CPR was 11.11±1.88 out of 15, 42.81±5.22 out of 55, and 86.19±17.74 out of 120 in order. CPR performance intention had significantly positive correlations with knowledge, attitude, and self-efficacy on CPR. In logistic regression, factors significantly affecting intention to perform CPR were the total number of training sessions on CPR (OR=12.15, 95% CI: 2.83~52.20), attitude on CPR (OR=9.26, 95% CI: 1.61~53.34), and self-efficacy on CPR (OR=1.72, 95% CI: 1.04~2.84), which accounted for 42.7% of the variance. Conclusion: In order to increase the intention to perform CPR among teachers in elementary and secondary schools, it is necessary for an educational program to be developed to improve positive attitudes and self-efficacy on CPR.

In international sales of goods, the buyer must pay the price for the goods as required by the contract and CISG, The buyer's this obligation includes taking such steps and complying with such formalities as may be required under the contract, which includes providing the seller with relevant letter of credit through the issuing bank. Where the parties have not stipulated the time limit within which the credit should be opened, but there is an agreed date or period for shipment, the time limit for the L/C opening should be calculated back from the agreed date of shipment or the first date of shipment, while, in addition, the buyer should open the L/C sufficiently earlier than the shipment date in order for the seller to be able to know the L/C's opening before beginning to ship the goods. The L/C provided the buyer should conform to the contract of sale. Therefore, for example, when an unconfirmed L/C is provided violating the agreement or the L/C opened states that, under a FOB contract, a "freght prepaid" bill of lading shall be presented as a required document of the L/C, the buyer has failed to perform his obligation. If the buyer fails to perform his obligations to provide the letter of credit, the seller may require the buyer to perform that obligation; may fix an additional period of time of reasonable length for performance of the obligation; or, the seller may declare the contract avoided, if the failure amounts to a fundamental breach of contract, or if the buyer does not, within the additional period of time fixed by the seller, perform the obligation; and the seller claim damages. However, when a relevant L/C has been issued for the seller, as a rule, he cannot ask directly for the buyer to pay the price before avail himself of the L/C first.
