전북 일부 지역 노인구강보건사업 실태와 노인구강건강평가지수 및 삶의 만족도에 관한 연구 (A study on Oral Health Assessment Index (GOHAI) and life satisfaction of the state of oral health project of the elderly in Jeonbuk Korea)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the oral health assessment and satisfaction according to recognition and beneficiary oral health projects for oral health promotion of the elderly. Methods: The subjects were elderly over 65 years old in Jeonbuk province. The study instrument was structured questionnaire including general characteristics, oral care condition, recognition of project, satisfaction of project, geriatric oral health assessment index, life satisfaction. For data analysis, the study used independent t-test, one way ANOVA and Pearson correlation analysis. Results: The subjects of this study were well aware of the perceived health status of oral health projects. Satisfaction scaling project was the highest in the satisfaction of the received projects. People who recognized the oral health project had a high oral health assessment index. People who benefit from oral health project showed higher satisfaction in life. Conclusions: As for the elderly's perception on oral health care, they showed higher oral health assessment index and life satisfaction.

음성장애인의 자가음성평가와 정상음성인의 청자음성평가 특성 비교 (Comparative Studies on the Self Voice Assessment of Voice Disorder Patients and the Hearer Voice Assessment of a Comparative Group of normal subjects)

  • This paper will discuss the difference between self assessment of voice disorders and the hearer voice assessment of a comparative group of normal subjects. The study was conducted on 25 voice disorder subjects and 32 hearers of a comparative group of normal subjects. The results are as follows. Firstly, in K-VHI and VHI-H, the hearers of the comparative group of normal subjects perceived more serious voice disorders than the voice disorder group in all sub-domains. Likewise, in K-VQOL and VRQOL-H, the hearers of the comparative group of normal subjects perceived more serious voice disorders than the voice disorder group in all sub-domains. Secondly, the hearer voice assessment of the comparative group of normal subjects showed no difference in gender regarding the perception of the severity of voice disorder issues. Thirdly, the hearer voice assessment of the comparative group of normal subjects states that in the emotional aspects of VHI-H, professional voice users perceive more serious voice disorders than others. Accordingly, in VRQOL-H, there was no difference in use of the voice between professionals and others.

분만경험 측정도구의 체계적 고찰 (A Systematic Review of Birth Experience Assessment Instrument)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to conduct a systematic review and to describe characteristics of the birth experience assessment instrument. Methods: Literature related to the development of the birth experience assessment instrument was examined using a systematic review method. A literature search was conducted using the keywords as '[normal birth]; [$satisfac^*$ OR care quality]; [instrument OR scale] AND (development)' through PubMed, CINAHL, SCOPUS, PsycINFO, and RISS. The search used quality appraisal through QUADAS (Quality Assessment of studies of Diagnostic Accuracy included Systemic reviews) yielding 17 records. Results: The birth experience assessment instrument was categorized for instrumental characteristics: birth satisfaction (n=8), perception of labor experience (n=5), and birth care quality assessment in normal and operative birth experiences (n=4). Important key elements for content characteristics were as follows: nursing practice (n=10), pain control (n=5), environment (n=5), participation (n=4), and support (n=4). Conclusion: This study demonstrated that the birth experience instrument is appropriate for measuring quality of birth care in various clinical conditions. This review of the birth experience instrument reports that an appropriate psychometric tool for enhancing quality of birth care is important.

A Comparison of ES and PARK Maritime Traffic Risk Assessment Models in a Korean Waterway

  • This paper compared the consistency of the Environment Stress(ES) model and the Potential Risk Assessment Model (PARK model, which was developed based on a Korean mariner risk perception) for the Busan adjacent waterway. Evaluation of accuracy and comparison of these two models have been made by Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) officers in the Busan VTS Centre. The assessment results of Busan waterway show that the PARK model is more consistent than the ES model as follows. (1) The difference between assessment results applying ES model and PARK model with risk degree of VTSOs were 34% and 5% respectively in six typical traffic situations. (2) The assessment using PARK model is more suitable and identical with the VTSOs opinion in his or her duty time.

수학과 서술형 평가에 대한 초·중학교 교사 간의 인식, 실행 및 기대효과에 대한 비교 연구 (A comparison of elementary and middle school mathematics teachers' beliefs and practices in constructed-response assessment)

  • This study examines whether there is discrepancy between elementary and middle school mathematics teachers' beliefs and practices in constructed-response assessment and how their beliefs and practices are interrelated. Analyzing the responses of 212 elementary teachers and 189 middle school mathematics teachers to the questionnaire, we found that there is lack of consistency among elementary and middle school teachers' beliefs, practices, and expected benefits regarding constructed-response assessment. In addition, there was a weak correlation between each group of teachers' beliefs and expected benefits about constructed-response assessment. The results from this study imply that such inconsistency in elementary and middle school teachers' beliefs and practices regarding assessments may determine the effects of constructed-response assessment.

호스피스·완화의료 사회복지사의 심리사회적 사정항목에 대한 중요도 인식 (Perception on the Importance of Items on Psychosocial Assessment among Hospice and Palliative Care Social Workers)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 우리나라 호스피스 완화의료의 심리사회적 표준사정항목을 개발하기 위한 예비연구로써, 심리사회적 사정항목의 중요도에 대한 호스피스 완화의료 사회복지사의 인식을 조사하였다. 그리고 의료기관의 유형과 사회복지사의 자격조건에 따라 심리사회적 사정항목의 중요도에 대한 인식이 어떤 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다. 방법: 2013년 5월 30일부터 10월 31일까지 전국 55개 완화의료지원기관에 정부인증 호스피스 완화의료기관 10곳의 사회사업초기면접 기록지와 선행연구결과를 반영하여 8개 범주 80개 항목으로 구조화된 설문지를 이메일로 발송하였다. 이 중 조사 참여에 동의한 31개 기관(56%)의 응답을 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과: 심리사회적 사정영역의 8개 범주 중 가족사항에 대한 평균치가 4.53으로 가장 높고 경제적 사항이 4.06으로 가장 낮게 조사되었다. 또한 사회복지사 자격증, 의료사회사업수련, 호스피스 완화의료 전담여부등 사회복지사의 전문적 자격특성과 병원의 유형에 따라 중요도에 대한 인식이 다른 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 특히 본 연구결과 심리사회적 사정항목의 수행도가 기관마다 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었고 사정항목을 중요하게 인식함에도 사정하고 있지 않는 등의 편차가 나타나 표준사정항목을 만드는 것이 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 둘째 법적 제도화를 통해 사회복지사의 자격기준과 호스피스 완화의료를 전담할 수 있는 여건을 마련하고 전문교육을 강화하는 방안이 필요하다.

과학영재학교 교수활동에 관한 학생인식 및 과학수업에서 상호작용 유형 (Students' Perception of Teaching Activities and Verbal Interaction in Science Classes at the Gifted Science High School)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과학영재학교 재학생을 대상으로 과학영재학교의 교수활동에 관한 학생의 인식을 밝히고 과학과 실험수업의 실제 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 과학과 교육과정 편제 및 운영, 교수$\cdot$학습방법 평가 방법에 관한 설문 결과와 과학과 실험수업에서의 언어적 상호작용 유형을 분석하였다. 과학영재학교 교육과정 편제 및 운영에 대한 학생들의 인식을 조사한 결과, 심화선택과목의 학점 비중을 더 높여야 한다는 의견과 보통교과의 학점을 줄이고 수학 및 과학 교과의 학점을 늘려야 한다는 의견이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 또한 과학영재학교 과학과 수업시사간에 주로 사용되는 수업방법으로는 강의나 설명, 조별수업, 토론이 대다수를 차지하였고 학생들이 선호하는 수업방법으로는 강의나 설명, 토론 외에도 탐구학습, 개인연구, 문제해결학습 등 다양하게 나타났다. 그리고 학생들이 선호하는 평가방법은 지필 평가와 보고서평가, 실험 평가의 순으로 나타났다. 과학영재학교 과학실험 수업에서 상호작용 유형을 분석한 결과, 교사 질문의 수준에 따라 교사-학생 상호작용 유형이 다르게 나타났고, 실험과정 중에는 학생-학생 상호작용에 의해 탐구활동이 활성화되었다.

부모의 권위에 대한 아동의 지각 연구 (Children's Perception of Parental Authority)

  • This research examined children's perception of parental authority within three different types of rules : moral, social-conventional, and personal issue. Specifically, two major aspects of parental authority-legitimacy and obedience-were explored. The subjects of this study were 120 children from an elementary school in Kwangju. There were 40 subjects (20 males and 20 females) in each of three age groups: 7-, 9-, and 11- year-olds. The subjects were administered an interview individually. Based on Tisak (1986) open-ended questions concerning three family rules (moral rule, social-conventional rule, personal issue) were administered. Responses to the assessment questions were coded as positive or negative. Responses to the judgment conception questions were coded into 7 categories : Other's Walfare, Social Coordination, Personal choice, Deservedness of Punishment for Wrongdoing, Existence of Authority, Conflicting Personal Interest and Authority, and Personal Development. Statistical analysis of obtained data was by percentage and ${\chi}_2$ test using log linear procedure. The results were as follows : (1) There was a significant main effect of type of rule on the children's assessment regarding legitimacy and obedience of parental authority. The children (average 96%) stated that it was all right for parents to make rules prohiliting an act when it pertained to moral and social conventions. However, the majority of the children (average 40%) stated that it was not right for parents to regulate personal issues. (2) There was a significant interaction effect between type of rule and age. (3) There was a significant main effect of rules on the children's judgment conception of parental authority. (4) There was a significant interaction effect between rules and ages on children's judgment conception of parental authority.

경기도 민간환경단체의 역할에 대한 의식조사 - 공무원과 도민의 설문조사 비교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Perception Survey for Role of Environmental NGOs in Kyonggi-Do-Comparison of Questionnaire to Public Officials and Residents as a Key Subject -)

  • The opinionnaire was given to two groups; residents and public officials working at environmental administrative section. Based on the result of questionnaire, perceptional differences between these groups toward environmental NGOs were comparatively anaIyzed. The results were classified into following four items; Firstly, numbers of residents who recognize the existences of environmental NGOs in Kyonggi-Do were lower than those who didn't. Secondly, in both groups, more than 80% of respondents acknowledged that residents should be involved in decisions and developments of environmental projects. Thirdly, respondents belonging to both groups overwhelmingly selected the item "being improved" as the answer for the question asking whether NGOs' environmental activities contribute to improve of environmental conditions. This indicated that public officials also acknowledged the positive role of NGOs in environmental issues. Lastly, the answer of "intensive upbringing is necessary" was ranked as the first place for the question asking "necessity of raising environmental NGOs". However, it was hard to tell which opinion was superior in the matter of financial support necessity for NGOs judging from the answers by respondents of public officials.

캡스톤 디자인 수업 운영에 대한 대학교원의 인식 및 교육요구도 분석 (A Study on Faculty's Perception and Educational Needs for Capstone Design Course)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions and educational needs of the university faculties in charge of capstone design courses. To achieve the purpose of this study, the 100 questionnaires collected from the faculties nationwide with teaching experience in capstone design courses were analyzed using descriptive statistics analysis, the Borich needs assessment model, and the Locus for focus model. The faculties perceived the importance of their roles in the following order: coaching students, providing opportunities for students to show their abilities, motivating and encouraging, and building trusting relationships with students. The biggest challenges that the faculties perceived in capstone design classes were the lack of university-industry collaboration and project execution time. In the analysis of the needs for the capstone design process, the research results showed that team-building, core task development and analysis, deriving problem-solving ideas, building prototypes, and comprehensive reflection ranked the top priorities. This study is expected to help the design of the courses and the development of customized faculty support programs by analyzing the faculties' perceptions and needs for capstone design classes.
