Purpose : This study was designed to identify the perception and practice level of infection control among korean medical doctors and to identify factors that may influence the performance and practice level. Methods : Data were collected using the online survey method. Seven hundred and eighty four Korean medical doctors(KMD) participated the survey. The study was conducted from December 2018 to January 2019. Results : The results of this study are as follows. 1. Participants who experienced infection risk by needles or sharp instruments were 596(76%). and participants who had experienced blood or body fluid contact with the mucous membrane or skin of the patient during treatment were 226(28.8%) of them. 2. The degree of perception and practice of the infectious guideline was higher in the group over 50 years, in the doctor group, in the group with more than 6 years experience in clinic and in the group who work in the hospital. (p < 0.05) 3. In the performance of the infection control management related to the Korean medical treatment, the practice level of the article 'Discard the remaining needle that used for one patient' was the lowest at 4.02, 'Identify the patient and check the validity period of sterilization of medicines or instruments' was the second lowest in 4.16. 4. Among the contents of "Prevention of Nosocomial infection and Sanitary Safety Guidelines" issued by the Korean Medical Association in 2008, the guideline "Prevention of infection by pathogens such as HIV, MRSA, SARS" were lowest article in the perception and practice level of participants. 5. Regression analysis was performed to find out the factors affecting perception and performance of the participants. The regression model showed significant difference in the regression model of the working years. (p < 0.05) 6. In order to examine the effect of the variables on the perception and practice of the infectious guideline, the mediated effect of the knowledge and education level according to the years of working, age, education degree was found to be significant only in the education degree variable. (p < 0.05) In conclusion : in order to improve the perception and practice of infectious control of Korean medicine doctors, it is necessary to include the contents of infection management as essential education during the continuing education of Korean medicine association.
Purpose: This research was designed to investigate the effects of forensic education and autopsy attitude of nursing students. Methods: Data on autopsy attitude were determined and collected by means of a self-reporting questionnaire including 14 questions on perception of a need for an autopsy and 11 questions on resistance to autopsy, the respondents being 846 nursing students. The collected data were analyzed by means of an independent t-test with one-way ANOVA in an SPSS WIn 18.0 program. Results: The perception of a need for an autopsy was 4.06 on average and resistance to autopsy was 2.64 on average. The nursing students taking a forensic course showed a relatively higher level of perception of the need for an autopsy (t=-5.63, p <.001) than those not attending such a course (t=2.93, p <.001). Perception of the need for an autopsy and resistance to autopsy show a negative correlation (r=-.382, p=.003). Conclusion: A forensic medicine course raises the level of perception of the need for an autopsy by nursing students and reduces the level of resistance to autopsy.

Occupants induced floor vertical vibrations may cause other occupant's annoyance and lead to social loss. To help control such floor vibrations, several criteria have been developed mostly based on human perception tests and floor vibration tests. Floor vibration is evaluated by comparison with criteria and vibration parameters of subject floor, such as frequency, damping ratio, acceleration value, vibration duration time and occurrence frequency. Three acceleration value parameters are used in criteria; peak acceleration, rms acceleration and VDV, when a floor vibration serviceability is evaluated. Meanwhile rms acceleration and peak acceleration are adopted as vibration limit value in criteria and researches of human perception for vibration. Occupants induced floor vibration is transient rather than steady state. However, rms acceleration is not reliable parameter for evaluating transient vibration. The objective of this study is to investigate the characters of human perception level according to acceleration value parameters for vibration induced by heel impacts and walking activities.
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of mothers'depression and children's perception of parents' behavior on children's competencies. The subjects were 729 mothers and their children with grade 5 and 6 in the five elementary schools located in T city. Data were analysed by frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, one-way ANOVA, scheff test and regression analysis. The levels of mothers' depression were found to be statistically different according to the parents'educational level, fathers' occupation, and the average monthly house income. The degree of children's positive perception of parents' behavior was different according to the parents'educational level and average monthly house income. And the degree of children's competencies was different according to mother's age, parents'educational level, father's occupation and average monthly house income. Mother's depression affected children's perception of their parents' behavior, suggesting that the lower the degree of mother's depression is, the more positively children tend to perceive parents' behavior. The most important factor that affected the whole areas of children's competencies was the children's positive perception of their mothers'behavior, and the next important factor was mothers' depression.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between perception of family environment and mental health of boy's high school students. In order to obtain the appropriate data, a questionnaire was administered to 240 boy's high school 2nd-grade students in Pohang city from March 19 to March 28, 1992. The instruments used for this study were Moos's Family Environment Scale Form R and Kim's Symptom Check List-90. The conclusions were as follows : The level of perception of family environment was lower than mean score. Cohesion, achievement orientation, independence, organization, expressiveness were percepted high but active-recreational orientation, intellectual-cultural orientation were percepted low. Mental health of most respondents was well. The scores of obsessive-compulsive reaction and interpersonal sensitivity were high, the scores of somatization and phobia were low. General characteristic variables significantly related to the level of perception about family environment were father's occupation and mother's education level. There were no significant differences between general characteristic variables and mental health. There were mostly negative correlations between perception of family environment and mental health. Cohesion, expressiveness, independence, intellectual-cultural orientation, active-recerational orientation, moral-religious emphasis, organization were negatively correlated but conflict, achivement orientation, control were positively correlated. Cohesion, expressiveness, conflict, achivement orientation, active-recretional orientation, organization, control were significantly related, but independence intellectual-cultural orientation, moral-religious emphasis were no significant correlation.
This research was conducted to analyze the perception of the dental hygienists who work in ordinary dental clinics regading patient safety culture and to analyze the related elements. As for the research subjects and methods, 233 dental hygienists who work at the dental clinics located in Daegu, Gyeongbuk and Jeonnam were targeted from February 6, 2012 to March 5, 2012 to administer survey by utilizing patient safety culture recognition tool. Collected data was subjected to the SPSS 18.0 program to calculate average and standard deviation, and to carry out t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Dental hygienists' level of perception towards patient safety culture was mid level, and it was demonstrated that there is a correlation with age, work experience at department, title and type of department that affect level of perception towards patient safety culture. In conclusion, Since this research targeted only a limited number of dental hygienists, it is necessary to be cautious about over-interpreting the results. Above anything, it is necessary to carry out repetitive research by targeting medical professionals of diverse jobs.
Purpose: To investigate the relationships among mother's perception of her own newborn, her caring-confidence level, and her child-rearing attitude; and to provide data for developing effective nursing education programs on maternal newborn care. Method: Explorative survey questionnaires were completed by 159 married mothers of newborns from November 2003 to March 2004. Data were analyzed using SPSS/Win 10.0 by t-test and Pearson's Correlation coefficient. Result: The mean scores of the mother's perception of her own newborn, her caring- confidence level, and her child-rearing attitude were .26, 3.13, and 3.43 respectively. There was a positive correlation between mother's perception of her own newborn and her child-rearing attitude. There was a significant correlation between mothers caring-confidence level and her child-rearing attitude. Score of caring-confidence was significantly different depending on the availability of helper and history of delivery. Conclusion: Availability of helper and history of delivery significantly affected mothers caring-confidence. This in turn, along with mothers perception of her own newborn, enhanced mothers child-rearing attitude. Thus, an effective education for mothers should include these factors.

Virtualization technology has been widely applied in the area of computer security research that provides a new method for system protection. It has been a hotspot in system security research at present. Virtualization technology brings new risk as well as progress to computer operating system (OS). A multi-level perception security model using virtualization is proposed to deal with the problems of over-simplification of risk models, unreliable assumption of secure virtual machine monitor (VMM) and insufficient integration with virtualization technology in security design. Adopting the enhanced isolation mechanism of address space, the security perception units can be protected from risk environment. Based on parallel perceiving by the secure domain possessing with the same privilege level as VMM, a mechanism is established to ensure the security of VMM. In addition, a special pathway is set up to strengthen the ability of information interaction in the light of making reverse use of the method of covert channel. The evaluation results show that the proposed model is able to obtain the valuable risk information of system while ensuring the integrity of security perception units, and it can effectively identify the abnormal state of target system without significantly increasing the extra overhead.

According to a lot of investigations, distance perception is influenced by many important cues such as sound pressure level, reflections from the room surface, binaural difference (ITD and ILD), a kind of sound source, and head related transfer functions (HRTF). Two psychoacoustical experiments on auditory distance perception were conducted to examine the effectiveness of the sound pressure level loudness as one of the physical cues in the auditory distance perception under a constant loudspeaker's output level and a constant sound level at the subject's position in the absence of reflections in an anechoic room. Our experimental results showed that the perceived distance of sound image is closer than actual sound source distance with the constant loudspeaker's output level and the constant sound level. Futhermore, the perceived distance of a sound image with constant sound level increased when the actual distance increases up to approximately 2 m while the perceived distance saturated when the sound source distance exceed 2 m. On the other hand, when the condition of loudspeaker's output level was kept constantly, the perceived distance of sound image increased up to around 3m, longer than the conditions of constant sound level at the subject's position. We found that the change in the loudness as a function of distance plays an important role in the auditory distance perception in the absence of reflections..

The study is aimed at finding out the perception of national-level curriculum among elementary school teachers in G Metropolitan City. For the study, the survey results of 124 elementary school teachers in G-city were used. According to the study, the average score of elementary school teachers recognizing national-level curriculum was 3.48 points and the self-assessment of national-level curriculum perception was 3.75, indicating that the self-assessment score was higher than that of national-level curriculum perception. Also, as a result of comparing the perception differences according to the characteristics of elementary school teachers, teachers working in schools under 20 classes had higher national-level curriculum recognition than teachers working in schools over 31 classes. The group with research school experience was higher than the group without research school experience, and the group with both research and innovation school experience was significantly higher than the group without research or innovation school experience. As a result of conducting multiple regression analysis to find out the variables influencing the national-level curriculum, school size variables showed an explanatory power of 13.1%. These results suggest that awareness of the national-level curriculum can be improved when more opportunities for teachers to access curriculum development are provided.
