  • This study explains the consumer acceptance of smart clothing using the extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM); in addition, it compares the difference in the path hypotheses of the perceived group and nonperceived group from the aspect of the extended TAM. A total of 815 copies of questionnaire were collected from a web-based survey in March 2009. Structural equation modeling was used to examine the entire pattern of intercorrelations among the constructs and to test related propositions using an AMOS 5.0 package. The fitness of the extended TAM explains the process of the adaptation of smart clothing. Technology Innovation (TI) and Clothing Involvement (CI) were confirmed as antecedent variables to affect TAM. In the perceived group, Technology Innovation (TI) and Clothing Involvement (CI) showed significant impacts on the Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU) while Technology Innovation (TI) did not influence the Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) in the non-perceived group. Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) influenced the Perceived Usefulness (PU) and indirectly influenced Attitude (A) through the Perceived Usefulness (PU) in both groups. In addition, Perceived Usefulness (PU) did not influence Acceptance Intention (AI) but indirectly affected Acceptance Intention (AI) through Attitude (A). Therefore, Attitude (A) was found to be an important parameter in the adaptation of smart clothing in both groups. This finding implies that consumers first perceive the usefulness of smart clothing, then take favorable attitudes towards the smart clothing, and finally have the intention to adopt it. Strategies for publishing and informing consumers of the functions of smart clothing and usefulness in life are necessary; in addition, understanding what useful values they expect from the clothing is also crucial.

  • In an effort to find ways to increase the effectiveness of online education, literature and empirical study based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) have addressed a variety of questions, including perceived ease of use (PEU) and perceived usefulness (PU). After TAM, extensive studies have focused on the impact of extrinsic factors on PEU and PU, including Self-efficacy and Perceived Risk. This study aims to analyze the direct, indirect, and moderating effects of Self-efficacy and Perceived Risk on Online Learning Intention (OLI). Data was collected through a survey method from 472 students studying at universities in Vietnam. The collected data was analyzed using the PLS-SEM technique to test the hypotheses. The findings reveal that Technology Self-Efficacy influences the intention to take online courses both directly and indirectly through Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness. Besides, Perceived Risk COVID-19 also has a positive effect on online learning intention, and plays a role as a moderating variable on the impact of PU on OLI. These findings suggest that students will have a stronger intention to study online when they are confident in their ability to use technology. When they believe in their ability to use technology, their online learning intention will also increase.

  • As an extension of Technology Acceptance Models (TAM), the relative importance of perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEU) in adopting two different mobile services are examined using service compatibility and user trust as moderating variables. This research shows that PEU is a relatively more important factor in the adoption of new mobile services when the new mobile services are highly compatible with existing services, while trust is an important influential factor in the adoption of services with a relatively low service compatibility. Trust does not significantly change the relative importance of PEU in the adoption of highly compatible mobile services, while the user's trust changes the importance of PU in the adoption process for the mobile services with relatively low service compatibility.

  • The aim of this research is to analyze Perceived Usefulness(PU) and Perceived Ease of Use(PEOU) based on Technology Acceptance Model in , and how viewing experiences and knowledge of motion graphics have an impact on attitude toward using and behavioral intention to use. Both usability for learning and usability for appreciation in terms of PU have significant correlations with the degree of satisfaction and immersion, and behavioral intention to use. On the other hand, PEOU has an influence on degree of exhibition satisfaction and immersion, and onto behavioral intention to use with the exception of intention to revisiting . Unlike PU or PEOU, previous viewing experiences do not have correlation with attitude toward using and behavioral intention to use. Only previous knowledge of motion graphics has a correlation with degree of satisfaction and immersion, and behavioral intention to use. As the influence on PU and PEOU's attitude toward using and and behavioral intention to use has been verified, our findings show that two variables of TAM enable the prediction of user's technology acceptance on digital exhibitions and as a result prove the suitability for TAM as an evaluation model for digital exhibition of remediating the originals. This study offers a fresh understanding of the importance of motion graphic effects which influence attitude toward using and behavioral intention to use from the perspective of curating methodology.

  • Purpose - This paper aims to identify factors that influence the users' word-of-mouth intention (WOMI) regarding mobile apps, focussing on the impacts of technology acceptance model (TAM) and social network theory. Research design, data and methodology - Based on TAM, this study integrates social network theory into the research model. The 317 sets of data collected in a survey were tested against the model using SmartPLS. Results - Our findings suggest the following: 1) Personal innovativeness positively influences perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEU) and perceived enjoyment (PE); 2) PEU affects PU and PE; 3) Both PU and Satisfaction are directly correlated with WOMI. Although PEU and PE has no direct impact on WOMI, they may indirectly affect WOMI via Satisfaction, as PU, PEU and PE all positively influence satisfaction; 4) Network density and network centrality both play a mediating role in the relation between PEU and WOMI. Referral Reward Program have a positive moderating effect on the relation between PU and WOMI. Conclusions - The findings of this study illustrate the traits of Apps that can promote users' WOMI, as well as the characteristics of people who are more likely to participate in the word-of-mouth process. The findings provide a theoretical basis for app developers to make word-of-mouth a marketing strategy.

  • With much attention being paid to the rapid growth of wrist-worn smart devices, this study aimed to examine the micro-processes that determine an individual's adoption of smart bands and smartwatches. Primarily relying on the theoretical background of the extended technology acceptance model (TAM II), this study explored relationships between three groups of predictors-social, personal, and device-oriented-and the three main components of the original TAM: perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), and behavioral intention (BI). Results from the path analysis indicated multiple factors played significant roles in increasing the PU, PEOU, and BI of wristworn smart devices: subjective norms, social image, self-efficacy, perceived service diversity, and perceived reasonable cost. The main findings from this research contribute to significantly improving the understanding of the main factors leading people to adopt wrist-worn smart devices.

  • Stepping into the technological boom time, Vietnam has integrated into the trends of using Fintech applications as a new means of payment. This article evaluates the relationship between perceived security (including service security and platform security), knowledge, confirmation, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, attitude and lastly enterprise's images regarding the service and continuous intention to use Fintech services. The survey results of 352 Vietnamese customers using Fintech services, reliability test and extended post-acceptance model (EPAM) which is based on PAM and ECT models. From the survey, we further found out that perceived security (BSS) has no direct impact on continued intention to use, while perceived security (BSS) has positive impact on confirmation (CON), similarly, perceived usefulness (PU) and user's satisfaction (SES). Knowledge of the Mobile Fintech payment service (KNOW) has a positive impact on perceived security (BSS). Confirmation (CON) has a positive influence on perceived usefulness but in the meanwhile it has created a negative impact on user's satisfaction (SES). From the survey it can also tell that user's attitude (ATT) and enterprise image (IMG) both have a positive impact on continual intention to use Fintech services. From the research results, we also propose some recommendation to enhance the continual intention to use Fintech services in Vietnam.

  • As information systems are introduced in organizations, user attitudes toward IS are crucial factors for the success of such systems. Hence, understanding what affects user attitudes should be a major concern in MIS research. The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of social influence on IS adoption. Social influence construct is stretched to include four items: subject norm, image, visibility, and voluntariness. Also, this paper examines the roles of two moderators regarding social influence: user characteristics and IT maturity. We could find that 1) social influence has a significant impact on perceived usefulness(PU), perceived ease of use(PEU), and intention, 2) the social influence on PU is more noticeable for knowledge worker than for undergraduate student, and 3) social influence on knowledge worker's PU is stronger for emerging IT(e.g., wireless internet services) than for mature IT(e.g., spreadsheet software).
