The growth in the use of ubiquitous computing based on mobile services as an enabler to conduct business more effectively has been phenomenal. Technology acceptance model (TAM) has been applied in different contexts to examine a wide range of information technologies (IT). As more and more companies are finding ways to utilize ubiquitous computing based on mobile services, an important issue is to understand what factors will impact the decisions of consumers in adopting the services. Based on TAM with three additional groups of external factors, i.e., service-related factors (ubiquitous access, context awareness) and technology-related factors (perceived security risk, network connectivity) that are theoretically justified as having influence on both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use which are additionally considered, a research model for the investigated technology acceptance was developed and empirically examined, using responses from more than intended users of ubiquitous computing based on mobile services. The specific purposes of this study are as follows. Firstly, this study is to identify service beliefs considering unique characteristics for ubiquitous services such as perceived ubiquitous access and perceived context awareness. Secondly, this study is to investigate network characteristics beliefs such as perceived security and perceived connectivity. Thirdly, this paper investigates the relationship among variables such as ubiquitous characteristics, network characteristics, behavioral beliefs, and intention to use ubiquitous web services. This study uses a structural equation model to test the research model. The major results of this study are as follows. Firstly, ubiquitous access has a influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Context awareness has an influence on perceived usefulness. Secondly, User familiarity has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, and intention to use. User innovativeness has an influence on perceived ease of use. Thirdly, perceived security risk has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Network connectivity has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Fourth, there exist differential effects among factors in structural model among information, transaction, and entertainment services.

IT has been receiving increasing attention for cloud computing services. However, despite a lot of attention, there are limitations of existing research on cloud computing services. There are researches respectively about the benefits and costs that would occur if you choose a cloud computing services. However, in real life, consumers should be considered about the benefits and costs at the same time if they choose and use a cloud computing service. Therefore, this study examines the interaction effect of benefits and costs on cloud computing service. The findings demonstrate that three independent variables(usefulness, social influence, and innovativeness) positively(+) affect the perceived value. However, showed the benefits and costs of interaction effects analysis, usefulness and innovation on the cost influence the perceived value in statistics. The interaction of the usefulness & cost shows negative(-) effect and the interaction of the innovativeness & cost has positve(+) effect on the perceived value. In conclusion, this study provide that consumers need to consider costs with benefits when they use a cloud computing service.
This study analyzed the effects of optimism and innovativeness, the two drivers of a consumer's technological readiness to use an augmented reality(AR) fashion shopping service within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The survey was conducted on 249 people (males = 58; females = 191) in their 20s who were willing to participate in the AR experience. Data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling by AMOS 22.0. The results indicated that a greater level of perceived optimism had a positive influence on the ease of use and usefulness of the technology. The findings also show that consumers with a high degree of innovativeness tend to have a higher level of playfulness toward AR fashion shopping. Regarding the effects of user beliefs, ease of use had a positive effect on the perception of usefulness and playfulness with higher levels implying a higher consumer intention to adopt an AR fashion shopping service. In addition, this study reveals the moderating effect of consumers with high-fashion versus those with low-fashion innovativeness. For the latter, technological innovation had an insignificant effect on playfulness, thus indicating that consumers with low interest in fashion did not enjoy AR fashion shopping even if the technology was highly innovative. Nevertheless, the analysis confirms the possibility that experiencing a fashion product through AR technology could replace the actual experience of wearing the products.
Recently, the researches to explain Switching Behavior through Theory of Planned Behavior have been discovered. Many researches say that System factors of mobile telecommunication service(MTS) is positively associated with Switching Intention. But There is no difference of system factors between mobile telecommunication services because of IT technique Development. Thus, this study investigated whether switching cost and alternative's attractiveness influence switching intention concerning mobile telecommunication service by adopting Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as an underlying theoretical premise. The study also attempted to determine the moderating effects of personal innovativeness on switching intention. For these purposes the author has developed several hypotheses as follows: H-1. The switching cost of different MTS is associated with the attitude of MTS which is using. H-2. The switching cost of different MTS is associated with the subjective norm of MTS which is using. H-3. The switching cost of different MTS is associated with the perceived behavior control of MTS which is using. H-4. The alternative's attractiveness of different MTS is associated with the attitude of MTS which is using. H-5. The alternative's attractiveness of different MTS is associated with the subjective norm of MTS which is using. H-6. The alternative's attractiveness of different MTS is associated with the perceived behavior control of MTS which is using. H-7. The switching cost of different MTS is associated with the switching intention. H-8. The alternative's attractiveness of different MTS is associated with the switching intention. H-9. The attitude of MTS is associated with the switching intention. H-10. The subjective norm of MTS is associated with the switching intention. H-11. The perceived behavior control of MTS is associated with the switching intention. H-12. The personal innovativeness has been a moderating effects to switching intention. Data has been collected from 403 respondents for this study using a questionnaire method. The survey for the actual analysis of the research was done and analyzed with the customers who have an experience of using Mobile telecommunication service and the samples were selected among the middle and high school students who live in Seoul area, the university students who live in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungcheng Provinces, and the ordinary workers who are working in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The survey was done for 23 days from March 28, 2008 through April 12, 2008. The positive analysis was done with SPSS 12.0K statistics package and visual PLS program using the analysis techniques of frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and factor analysis. In addition, structural equation modeling was conducted using AMOS 5.0. The data was analyzed by frequency analysis using SPSS 12.0 and structural equation modeling using AMOS 5.0. The result of the overall model analysis is as follows: Chi-Square=378.306, d.f.=107, p-value=0.0, GFI=.904, AGFI= 0.863, IFI= 0.939, NFI= 0.917, RMSEA= 0.079, TLI= 0.922. The results of the overall model analysis were coherent. The following study results were revealed: First, switching cost was related positively to attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavior control, three components of TPB. Second, alternative's attractiveness was related negatively to subjective norm but positively to perceived behavior control. Third, switching cost and attitude was related negatively to switching intention, while perceived behavior control was related positively to switching intention. Finally, the study found the moderating effects of personal innovativeness on switching intention. Based on the results, the study offers marketing strategic implications for mobile telecommunication service industry.

This study investigates the impact of privacy concerns, perceived utility, and awareness of the right to personal data self-determination on the effective use and expansion of MyData services, which are critical to the data economy. Integrating the value-based adoption model with privacy calculus theory, the research examines how perceived utility, privacy concerns, trust, and personal innovativeness influence perceived value, perceived privacy, and the intention to provide personal information. Data collected from an online survey of 442 MyData service users and prospective users were analyzed using PLS-SEM and Bootstrapping methods via SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that perceived utility positively affects the intention to provide personal information, while privacy concerns have a negative impact. Trust and personal innovativeness positively influence the intention to adopt MyData services, and the awareness of personal data self-determination rights moderates these intentions. The findings underscore the importance of developing beneficial services that mitigate users' privacy concerns and build trust for the successful implementation of MyData services. Additionally, the study highlights the need for education and awareness campaigns to enhance understanding of the right to personal data self-determination.
This study conducted empirical analyses to investigate the factors affecting the intention to use smart home services. Based on the previous relevant studies, the characteristics of smart home service were found to influence on the intention to use smart home service, and four variables(ubiquitous connectivity, reliability, context awareness, and security) concerning the service characteristics could be derived. And referring to the technology acceptance model(TAM), the updated TAM, IS success model, and the theory of reasoned action(TRA), three variables such as perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and subjective norm were also likely to affect the intention to use smart home service, and the user innovativeness was inferred to play a role of moderating variable. In order to examine the research model and the hypotheses which could describe the relationship of the above mentioned variables, this study surveyed 447 people who were currently using or would use the smart home services, and then tested the hypotheses for 436 valid responses. The results of hypotheses testing showed that reliability, context awareness, and security have a significant effect on perceived usefulness and on perceived ease of use. However, it was found that ubiquitous connectivity significantly affected perceived usefulness but did not affect perceived ease of use. And perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and subjective norm had significant effect on the intention to use smart home services. Also, user innovativeness as moderating variable was found to significantly influence on the magnitude of the relationship between ubiquitous connectivity and perceived usefulness and on that between reliability and perceived ease of use. This can be interpreted as the findings implying that innovative smart home-service users are likely to feel the smart home-services more useful than ordinary users when the degree of ubiquitous connectivity is higher, and are likely to perceive the use of smart home-services to be easier than ordinary ones when the degree of reliability is higher.
This study investigated the influence of the perceived characteristics of AR fashion retail technology on value co-creation and continued use intention. This study also examines the moderating role of technology readiness in the effects of the perceived characteristics of AR fashion retail technology on value co-creation. A total of 241 university students who had experience using AR fashion retail technology completed the questionnaire. The results were as follows. First, there were five factors in the perceived characteristics of AR fashion retail technology: presence, aesthetic attractiveness, ease of use, shopping usefulness, and perceived enjoyment. Second, aesthetic attractiveness, shopping usefulness, and perceived enjoyment had positive impacts on value co-creation. Third, value co-creation had a positive impact on continued use intention of AR retail technology. Fourth, there were significant differences in the effect of aesthetic attractiveness and shopping usefulness on value co-creation by the innovativeness dimension of technology readiness. Fifth, there was a significant difference in the effect of ease of use on value co-creation by the optimism dimension of technology readiness. The results of this study should provide guidance for marketers or retailers interested in the application of AR fashion retail technology in their stores.
This study investigated consumers' enjoyment, perceived risks, expected values, and innovativeness factors and the effects of the convenience and personalization of "online to offline" (O2O) fashion mobile commerce on its perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and consumers' attitudes and intention to use O2O mobile commerce. A research model was developed using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A mobile survey was conducted through smartphone messengers and SNSs targeting male and female college students in their 20s who are living in the Seoul Metropolitan Area. A total of 192 questionnaire responses were used in the analysis. "Among the consumer characteristics, only enjoyment and expected values were found to make consumers feel that the O2O fashion mobile commerce is useful and easy to use. Among the mobile commerce characteristics, only convenience was found to have significant effects on consumers' perceived usefulness and ease of use regarding O2O fashion mobile commerce. Perceived usefulness was found to have the effects on attitudes as well as intention to use toward O2O mobile commerce. It was shown that positive attitudes toward O2O mobile commerce led to positive use intention toward O2O mobile commerce.
