  • Purpose - Recently, the prevalence of high-speed mobile communication technology (4G) and mobile devices (smart phones, tablet PC, etc.) is leading innovative changes across all fields in society as well as business environments. Furthermore, a diversified mobile application service has spread rapidly through mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs. Accordingly, the traditional E-government services paradigm has rapidly changed into mobile intelligence. To identify the influencing factors on the using intention of G4C smart app services, based on previous studies, the variables that influence using G4C smart app services are defined; these are user cognitive factors (perceived usefulness, perceived easiness), user characteristics factors (user innovativeness, self-efficiency, social influence), service quality factors (convenience, interactivity, accessibility), and system quality factors (instant connectivity, safety). Research design, data, and methodology - This is designed not only to collect data with a questionnaire survey (9/22/13~10/23/13) but also to test hypotheses with SEM by SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 in both Korea and China. All items are used with Likert 5 scales. A total of 643 questionnaires (Korea 318, China 325) are used. Results - The perceived usefulness and perceived easiness in user cognitive factors have positive influence on using intention. The user innovativeness, self-efficiency, and social factors in user characteristics factors have positive influences on using intention. The convenience, interactivity, and accessibility in service quality factors have positive influences on both reliability and using intention. Safety in system quality has positive influence on both reliability and using intention. Reliability has positive influence on using intention. The control variables (Korea and China) affect its control hypothesis. Strategies and implications are suggested to assist the public using the intention of smartphone's e-government services based on the results of the empirical analysis. The mobile application service can be considered a new emergence of the paradigm just like the government's on-line portal websites appeared in the past. Under this prevailing situation of mobile smart devices, to promote the success of e-government mobile APP services, accurate analysis and understanding of users should precede anything, to provide services to grasp and satisfy users' desire properly. Conclusions - This study proposes implications to help E-governmental officers and companies make strategies. First, this is expected to give some information on the understanding and knowledge regarding the process of G4C smart APP service based on the empirical study. Second, this helps to make future policies and ways about E-government G4C smart APP service. Third, it is proved that super speed mobile communication technology and devices including phones will be crucial to change the structure of E-government services in 2-3 years. Fourth, it is necessary to increase the trust and using intention of users. Fifth, considering what type of environment users are placed in, to present proper public information matching their inclination, is important. Finally, various ways of experiencing service to explore potential users and ceaseless public relations are required.

  • Objectives : A precedent research has documented that occupational stress is closely associated with increased the risk of fatigue and decreased in job satisfaction. This study was conducted in an effort to assess the relationship of occupational stress to self-perceived fatigue and job satisfaction by using job strain model. Methods : The number of respondents was 122 dental hygienist who work in dental clinic and period of the investigation was July 2009 through september 2009. A structured questionnaire was employed to evaluate the participants' sociodemographics, job-related factors, health-related behaviors, occupational stress, job satisfaction and self-perceived fatigue. Occupational stress and self-perceived fatigue were assessed using the Korean Occupational Stress Scale-Short form (KOSS-SF) and the Multidimensional Fatigue Scale (MFS), respectively. Results : In job strain model, the ratio of Q2(High Strain Job) group that more susceptible to disease by stress than other group was 16% and the proportion of high fatigue group(Q3, Q4 group) and low job satisfaction group(Q3, Q4 group) was 48%, 45% respectively. In logistic regression analyses, a High Strain Job group was associated with higher odds of react factor(fatigue, job satisfaction) and the odds was down by 3.3%~7.5% after adjustment for age, smoking, alcohol drinking, regular exercise. So the effective strategy for fatigue, job satisfaction reduction for dental hygienist requires additional program focusing on innovated work environment that provide a enough leisure time and exercise program considering the personality traits. Conclusions : The results of this study suggest that occupational stress is a determinant predictor of self perceived fatigue and job satisfaction. Thus, a stress management program for the reduction of occupational stress, and the promotion of dental hygienist impact assessment health and quality of life is strongly recommended.

  • Today's mobile devices including smartphones are gradually taking a prominent position in many areas as portable multimedia computers and establishing a new computing paradigm. Nevertheless, it would not be easy for smartphone applications to provide users with a high level of usability under the current environment due to the physical hardware characteristics of each smartphone, which are expected to have a negative impact on the qualities of system, information, and service that smartphone applications provide. Thus, this study examined: 1) the effects of the perceived qualities of system, information, and service of smartphone applications on the perceived usability of the applications, and 2) the effect of the usability on users' individual performance with the given application. A survey was conducted and structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the data. This study found that there are significant effects of the perceived qualities of system, information, and service of smartphone applications on the perceived usability of the applications. In addition, this study also found a significant effect of the usability of samrtphone applications on the individual performance with the application.

  • Terminal 2 of Incheon in'tl airport had made a grand opening since January 2018. Terminal 2 is currently operated by mainly Korean airline in cooperation with such skyteam members as Delta airline, Air France and Royal Dutch KLM. It is expected another three skyteam member airlines join the separate operation at terminal 2 since this coming winter. It is believed very meaningful research to analyze how separate operation of Global alliance of airlines affects the global brand image of an organization. To find out such effect, researchers have made an empirical analysis of perception of airline staffs working at terminal 2. This paper has focused on how the staffs perceive airline service quality in the changed working environment and on how significantly their perception on service has an effect on airline's global brand image with such moderating variables as organizational efficacy and organizational trust. According to empirical analysis using structural equation modeling, it was proven the variable of responsiveness among perceived airline service qualities had a direct significant effect on formulating airline's global brand image associated with joint venture between Korean airline and Delta airline. However, the other variables had a indirect significant effect on global brand image with moderating effects.

The e-commerce market share will become more important because it is not only a medium connecting B2C, but also because it will expand the scope of trade. This study aims to reveal the factors that influence purchase intention according to Korean-Chinese consumers in e-commerce. In addition, the study has comprehensively confirmed the influence between each factor in the e-commerce environment by integrating and analyzing the characteristic factors of online information sources and platforms in one structural equation. Finally, the study confirmed that there is a significant difference in the influence relationship between Korean and Chinese consumers. Through this, the study will contribute to content production in the e-commerce market according to the target market and the expansion of the mutual entry of Korea and China. Design/methodology - This study aims to confirm the mediating effect of the details of the online information source characteristics and platform characteristics when the perceived quality affects purchase intention. It is confirmed that the factors affecting Korean and Chinese consumers differ. Findings - It was confirmed that differences exist according to the group of Korean or Chinese consumers for the entire research model. In the case of Korean consumers, the mediating factors when perceived quality affects purchase intention are expertise, reliability, entertainment, informativity, and convenience; in the case of Chinese consumers, the factors are expertise and informativity. Originality/value - This study proved that Korean and Chinese consumers cannot be regarded as having the same characteristics, and therefore, strategies aimed at each e-commerce market should be differentiated. In addition, although previous studies on online information sources and platform characteristics were not integrated, this study confirmed a significant influence relationship among the factors that could affect purchase intention in the actual e-commerce environment.
