The purpose of this study was to research the effects of socio-demographic factors and values in each group on satisfaction with life by categorizing the activity types of the elderly into volunteer work and economic activities. The subjects of this study were 60 years an old higher. The questionnaires were categorized depending on activity types and collected. The voluntary work group consisted of 201 people (76 males, 36.8% and 125 females, 62.2%), The economic activity group consisted of 219 people (127 males, 58.0% and 92 females, 42.0%). The SPSS 14.0 Windows program was used to analyze data. Frequency, average, standard deviation, factor analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, One-Way ANOVA analysis, and hierarchical multiple linear regression were analyzed. The major findings of this study indicate that the elderly in the voluntary work group have a high collectivism value, higher income earned by performing economic activities, and good cognitive health affected by a high satisfaction with life. From these research results, it was proved that a collectivism value is a common factor that affects satisfaction with life in both of the economic activity group. Those who were older had a traditional collectivism value. The voluntary work group showed a stronger collectivism value and higher satisfaction with life than the economic activity group. Thus, the diverse types of voluntary work should be developed and a systematic system should be established as methods for improving quality of life and satisfaction.

This study was undertaken to examine the effects of social support, as well as avoidance coping, depression and suicidal ideation, of the elderly over 65 years, in G city. This was a descriptive survey study, enrolling 482 subjects from 9 elderly schools in G city, from October 31, 2019 to 1. Data collected were analyzed with t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression, using the SPSS WIN 24.0 program. The average score of social support was 5.71±1.11, avoidance coping style 12.41±3.45, depression 6.33±2.77, and suicidal ideation 6.17±1.87. Suicidal ideation (r=0.292, p<0.001) positively correlated with avoidance coping, and negatively correlated with gender (r=-0.02, p=0.018), number of family (r=-0.12, p=0.008), social support (r=-0.19, p<0.001), and depression (r=-0.24, p<0.001). Results of regression indicated that gender, social support, avoidance coping style, and depression explained 12.8% of variance in suicidal ideation. Therefore, our results indicate the necessity to develop a support program that improves the social support, and addresses avoidance coping style, depression and suicidal ideation, thereby helping to reduce negative thinking amongst the community of seniors aged over 65 years.
Politics and conflicts within organizations are natural phenomena found in any type of organization, affecting organizational outcomes and output variables. Nevertheless, there are not many previous studies on politics and conflict within nursing organizations. Therefore, in this study, we would like to analyze how the internal politics and conflicts, which have been excluded from the previous studies related to nursing organizations, affect the quality of communication between nurses. Data were collected from 310 nurses in an university hospital. Using SPSS21, the data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analyses. As results of the analyses, the organizational politics and relationship conflict have negative effect on the quality of vertical and horizontal communication, and task conflict has a positive effect on them. Organizational politics and relationship conflict have negative effects on quality of formal communication. Organizational politics and conflicts did not significantly affect the quality of informal communication. These results suggest that active, managerial efforts should be executed to overcome the negative effects of organizational politics and emotional conflicts among nurses. Furthermore, empirical research on organizational politics and conflicts within nurses organizations should be expanded.

The similarity of hourly PM10 and PM2.5 concentration profiles of the atmospheric monitoring stations in Gyeonggi-do was evaluated through the multilateral analysis between stations. The existing category for most stations in the regions shows relatively low Pearson correlation values of 0.68 and 0.7 for PM10 and PM2.5 on average respectively, and some monitoring stations revealed high relationships over 0.8 to other regions. Since the current regions are mainly categorized by cluster analysis based on the number of occurrence of high concentration events and geological factors, it is necessary to reclassify them by concentration characteristics for precise fine dust management. In accordance, multi-dimensional scaling being able to visualize could categorize the regions based on regional emission contribution rate and hourly fine dust concentration. As a result of the current analysis, PM10 and PM2.5 could be reclassified into five regions and fourregions, respectively.

This study aimed to derive a YouTube content strategy that can be exposed to Trending for a long time by comparing the features of 20 channels in the short/long term using 'YouTube Trending' data in 2021. First, through Pearson's correlation analysis, we found that various factors such as 'the number of title or tag letters' related to long-term exposure, and set this as an index to compare features. As a result, 1)'video title' of about 40-45 letters without excessive special characters, 2)'video length' within 10 minutes, 3)'Video description' is effective when writing 2-3 sentences and adding SNS information or including 3 key tags. Also, it would be more effective if you set key tag pairs such as (먹방, mukbang), (역대급, 레전드) derived through text mining. Through this, the channel will spread globally, bringing various advantages, and will be used as an indicator to evaluate the globality of the channel.
