Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore relationship among pain, body image and satisfaction in hand-injured workers. Methods: Using a sample of 96 out-patient workers with hand injuries, pain, body image and satisfaction were measured by VAS and Modified Jung Keum-hee's Tennesee Self Concept Scale. Repeated measured ANOVA and a Bonferroni correction for multiple statistical testing during post hoc analyses were conducted to evaluate relationship among pain, body image and satisfaction in hand-injured workers. Result: Functional satisfaction(r=.46, p<.001) and appearance satisfaction(r=.55, p<.001) significantly increased by treatment satisfaction. Functional satisfaction(r=.35, p=.001) and appearance satisfaction(r=.31, p=.002) increased by body image. But treatment satisfaction(r=-.20, p=.049), functional satisfaction (r=-.34, p=.001) and appearance satisfaction (r=-.39, p<.001) significantly decreased by pain. Conclusion: Poor pain management was related to bad body image and treatment satisfaction. Therefore, interventions targeting at pain management are needed for hand-injured workers.

Background: Ketorolac has been used as a postoperative analgesia in combination with opioids. However, the use of ketorolac may produce serious side effects in vulnerable patients. Propacetamol is known to induce fewer side effects than ketorolac because it mainly affects the central nervous system. We compared the analgesic effects and patient satisfaction levels of each drug when combined with fentanyl patient-controlled analgesia (PCA). Methods: The patients were divided into two groups, each with n = 46. The patients in each group were given 60 mg of ketorolac or 2 g of propacetamol (mixed with fentanyl) for 10 minutes. The patients were then given 180 mg of ketorolac or 8 g of propacetamol (mixed with fentanyl and ramosetron) through PCA. We assessed the visual analogue pain scale (VAS) at the time point immediately before administration (baseline) and at 15, 30, and 60 minutes, and 24 hours after administration. Also, the side effects of each regimen and each patient's degree of satisfaction were assessed. Results: There was a significant decline in the VAS score in both groups (P < 0.05). However, there were no significant differences in the VAS scores between the groups at each time point. Satisfaction scores between the groups showed no significant difference. Conclusions: The efficacy of propacetamol is comparable to that of ketorolac in postoperative PCA with fentanyl.
Open and closed rhinoplasty are two main approaches to perform nasal modifications. According to current literature, there is no current consensus among plastic surgeons and otolaryngologists on which technique is preferred in terms of aesthetic result, complications, and patient satisfaction. This study uses published research to determine whether open or closed rhinoplasty leads to superior patient outcomes. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines for systematic reviews were followed and a literature search was conducted in four databases based on our search strategy. Articles were then imported into COVIDENCE where they underwent primary screening and full-text review. Twenty articles were selected in this study after 243 articles were screened. There were 4 case series, 12 retrospective cohort studies, 1 prospective cohort study, 1 case-control, and 2 outcomes research. There were three cosmetic studies, eight functional studies, and nine studies that included both cosmetic and functional components. Sixteen studies utilized both open and closed rhinoplasty and four utilized open rhinoplasty. Both techniques demonstrated high patient and provider satisfaction and no advantage was found between techniques. Based on available studies, we cannot conclude if there is a preference between open or closed rhinoplasty in terms of which technique leads to better patient outcomes. Several studies determined that open rhinoplasty and closed rhinoplasty leads to comparative patient satisfaction. To make outcome reporting more reliable and uniform among studies, authors should look to utilize the Nasal Obstruction and Septoplasty Effectiveness scale and the Rhinoplasty Outcome Evaluation.

Objectives : The purpose of this research was to investigate the awareness of an adult on implants and the relevant factors which affect the satisfaction of a patient after an implant treatment. Methods : This study was conducted to 407 adult subjects in Seoul and Gyeonggi. A total of 384 data were analyzed except the questionnaires having poor responses or errors. Results : The acquaintance route of implant was TV advertisements, self-knowledge, internet, news, and newspapers. Dentist's ability to practice implant was the most important factor in patient's choice. The responents answered the expected lifespan of an implant was more than 5 years to 10 years. In terms of dental health management behavior on implants, the average response of the highest 4.07 points of 5 Likert scale. Generally women are more concerned with implant than men(p<0.01). The highly educated and elderly patients had tendency to receive more treatment(p<0.0001). Patients were more satisfactory after receiving regular checkups after treatment(p<0.05). The low expenses of implant satisfied the patients(p<0.05). Conclusions : As implant technology advances, the concern of patients on implants also increase. So reduction of cost can make the patients have access to the dentist and the patients' oral health must be improved through continuous dental care.
This study aims to design user-oriented children's hospital by examining the user needs, especially the mothers of child inpatients and the nurses. The subjects participated in a questionnaire survey including the user's characteristics, awareness of patient's room, the preference on ward size, demands, satisfaction and hospital environment assessment. The survey was conducted of the mothers of child inpatients and the nurses in A children's hospital, and the data were analyzed by the SPSS WIN 18.0 Version software. A total of 115 copies of the questionnaire were finally analyzed. The results and conclusions are as follows. 1) The mothers' demand on family-centered space and private spaces were higher than the nurses. 2) The mothers preferred 1-bed-room to 4-bed-room due to safety and privacy. 3) The items of hospital environment assessment was categorized into four factors; 'Aesthetics', 'Accessibility', 'Comfort', and 'Lighting'. The most positive factor was 'Aesthetics', whereas 'Comfort' was the negative factor. 4) The mother's satisfaction was lower than the nurse's. The most influential factors on the satisfaction was 'Accessibility'. To improve the satisfaction of the mothers of child inpatients and the nurses, safety, privacy, accessibility should be considered.

The wearing of the correction bra is very important to stabilize the shape of an implant after breast enlargement surgery; however, the verification of the wearing effect is insufficient. This study surveyed women who experienced breast augmentation surgery, to investigate wearing condition and satisfaction with bras worn immediately after surgery and during the recovery period as well as to collect basic data for the development of an improved patient bra. The study results are as follows. More than half of the respondents stated that they wear a cupless brassiere. As a result of the satisfaction by brassiere types, the cupless bra showed the highest satisfaction. The most important factor in choosing a patient's bra after breast augmentation surgery was the "degree of breast compression". Through the application of the results of this study, the necessity of development of the brassiere for breast enlargement patients with improved function and comfort was understood. It is therefore necessary to improve the function of holding the shape of the breast and applying appropriate pressure as well as designing the ventilated material without skin irritation that is superior to the existing brassieres.

This study aims to evaluate patients' satisfaction with healthcare services in Hawtat Bani Tamim Governorate during the spread of coronavirus. The importance of this study stems from the fact that Covid-19 is challenging countries all over the world. The study adopted a questionnaire for collecting the data. The sample size reached 231 members. The study applied descriptive statistics and inferential statistical methods to obtain the result of the study. The analysis of the data revealed that most of the participants are satisfied with the healthcare services in hospitals and health centers during the Corona pandemic, Health precautions and distancing measures were applied appropriately, Vaccination against corona was available in health centers and easy to access, and rapid response of health care service providers to patients' requests. The participant's opinions showed that the application of Mawid is a suitable method to access healthcare services during Corona, the application is more efficient in providing the required healthcare services and facilitating their access to healthcare services. In addition, patient satisfaction with the "My health" application provided fast and convenient services during the Corona pandemic and provided medical consultations easily.
Changing social conditions have resulted in a situation where elderly patients are no longer cared for by family and where medical care hospitals play a more prominent role. In this study, the unique elements of the medical service required from a long term care hospital were identified using conventional and exploratory analysis, and the causal relationship between medical service quality, relationship quality, and Revist intent was confirmed. The intermediary role and the quantitative importance of relationship quality (including trust and commitment) were also characterized. This study identifies the key points and indicators that the administrators of a long term care hospital can use to effectively plan their medical service offering in order to secure the commitment of customers through relationship quality. The theoretical indications of this study are set out below. First, four factors are selected as being the key elements determining service quality: medics, administrative service, healthcare environment, and subsidiary facilities. Second, it seems that medics, administration service, and the healthcare environment have some effect on the evaluations made in relation to trust and satisfaction (subsidiary facilities are not considered to be a key element). Third, patient satisfaction has a positive impact on trust and commitment and can be regarded as a key element for establishing connections. Fourth, commitment is likely to be strengthened when trust is significant. Fifth, as trust and commitment increase, revist intent strengthens. Lastly, this study illustrates how the levels of trust and commitment play a modulating role between patient satisfaction and revist intention. There are many practical indications from the findings of this study. First, the influences of medics, the administrative service, and the healthcare environment on trust and satisfaction vary. Especially, the healthcare environment is likely to be more important than medics. Accordingly, it is essential to establish an elderly-friendly environment, to improve a hospital's structure, and to maintain a clean environment. Second, medics must show compassion to their patients and be patient when providing explanations to elderly patients who often lack powers of concentration. Third, in order to establish patient trust, it is essential that medics provide an excellent medical service. Ultimately, these elements of relationship quality may strengthen the revist intention of elderly patients.

Purpose : This study was conducted to investigate correlation between patient satisfaction and rehabilitation motivation in a physical therapy environment. Methods : This study conducted a survey on musculoskeletal and neurological patients receiving rehabilitation treatment at a hospital. The subjects of the study were patients who were currently receiving rehabilitation treatment, either hospitalized or outpatient. 234 people were collected. A questionnaire was consisted of a total of 55 questions, including 27 questions about motivation for rehabilitation, 14 questions about physical therapy service environment, and 14 questions about patient satisfaction and intention to revisit. The detailed items in rehabilitation motivation consisted of 8 questions about task-oriented motivation, 7 questions about change-oriented motivation, 4 questions about obligatory motivation, 4 questions about external motivation, and 4 questions about intrinsic motivation, and in the physical therapy service environment, 4 questions about facility service and therapist service. , 6 questions, 4 questions about services used, 3 questions about friendliness, 4 questions about professionalism, 3 questions about treatment satisfaction, and 2 questions each about repeat visit and recommendation. Results : Facility service (r=.21) was highly correlated for task-oriented motivation, therapist service (r=.22) for change-oriented motivation, therapist service (r=.31) for mandatory motivation, therapist service (r=.19) for external motivation, and facility service (r=.56) for internal motivation. Revisit for task-oriented motivation (r=.47) is kind to change-oriented motives (r=-.13) was highly correlated with kindness (r=.19) for mandatory motives, recommendation (r=.14) for external motives, and expertise (r=.52) for internal motives. There was a high correlation between professionalism (r=.61) for facility services and kindness (r=.53) for therapist services, and revisit (r=.40) for service use. Conclusion : According to the results of this study, it was found that there was a correlation between patient satisfaction and rehabilitation motivation in a physical therapy environment.

The purpose of this study was to determine factors of women's satisfaction of hospital environment following childbirth. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from 783 women visited at 101 hospitals for delivery and frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analyses were performed. Women's satisfaction was significantly related with personal and environmental factors. Specifically, a kind of patient room, using a shared room regardless of their preference, using family delivery room, planned hospitalization, gestational week at delivery, and hospital locations significantly predicted the variance of women's satisfaction. Therefore, hospital user satisfaction should be carefully understood as a consequence of interaction of person and environment and the level of satisfaction can be represented by the degree of congruency between personal and environmental characteristics. Furthermore, healthcare providers should develop strategies to reduce gaps between personal preferences/will/control and environmental situations, contributing to women's satisfaction with hospital following childbirth.
