Effects of Shop Selection Attributes, Lifestyle on Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Orientation of Franchise Beauty Shop Users

  • Purpose: The hotel industry needs a leader who can actively demonstrate leadership to respond to and accept changes in the organization in a highly competitive and fast-changing environment. Therefore, the role of leaders who instill clear vision and goals of the organization in their members, listen to their opinions, and empathize is paramount. Leaders should encourage successful organizational activities based on active participation by employees and create the best environment for working with a sense of mission and responsibility. This study aims to identify the relationship between empathy leadership and job engagement as a result variable of team cohesion in the hotel culinary department and conduct empirical studies on the role of empathy leadership and job engagement. Research design, data, and methodology: The data were collected from employees who work in culinary department at a five-star franchise hotel located in the Seoul metropolitan area. Because it is difficult to conduct a survey through face-to-face contact with employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the online survey was conducted from February 1 to February 28, 2020. A total of 330 questionnaires through online were distributed and 268 employees completed the survey, yielding a response rate of 81%. Of the 268 returned responses, 27 responses were not usable due to missing information. Thus, a total of 241 responses were used for analysis. Results: The study results are as follows. First, it has been shown that the empathy leadership of culinary department in hotel companies has a significant positive impact on the job engagement. Second, it has been shown that job engagement has a significant positive effect on members' team cohesiveness. Third, empathy leadership of hotel companies' culinary department has a significant positive impact on members' team cohesiveness. Fourth, job engagement has a significant positive (+) mediating effect in the relationship between empathy leadership and team cohesiveness in culinary department. Conclusion: This study supports the theory that an emotional and empathic leader's behavior or ability can change the effectiveness or atmosphere of a rapidly changing hotel culinary team organization by presenting a research model on the effect of empathic leadership on job engagement and team cohesiveness. And hotel chefs should be more aware of the importance of empathic leadership and make them a human resource of the organization through formal and informal communication with culinary employees.

토픽모델링과 연결망 분석을 활용한 국내 조경 분야 연구 동향 분석 - 한국조경학회지를 대상으로 - (The Research Trends in Journal of the Korean Institute of Landscape Architecture using Topic Modeling and Network Analysis)

  • 지난 반세기 동안 한국조경학회지는 국내 조경학 연구를 주도하며, 조경 전 분야의 다양한 영역의 주제를 포용적으로 수용하며 발전해 왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 게재된 1,802편의 논문 초록을 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구방법은 토픽모델링을 이용하여 연구 주제 유형을 구분하고, 시계열적 연구 경향을 살펴보았으며, 연결망 분석을 이용한 키워드 사이의 관계성과 군집 특성을 해석하였다. 연구 결과, 총 27개 유형의 주제를 확인하였다. 전반적으로 주제의 시계열적 변동성은 적었지만, 근대성, 커뮤니티, 도시재생 등은 새롭게 성장하는 핫토픽이었고 생태조경 관련 주제들은 감소하는 콜드토픽으로 나타났다. 주제별 차이는 있었지만 2000년대 이후 연구 주제의 변동성이 크게 나타났다. 학회지의 상징적 키워드는 '공원'으로 나타났으며, '경관' 또한 학회지가 선도하는 주요한 영역임을 확인하였다. 연결망과 출현빈도를 토대로 보면, 학회지는 '공원'과 '경관', '공간'을 대상으로 '활용', '이용' '조성' 관련 연구를 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 텍스트마이닝의 토픽모델링과 연결망 분석을 이용하여, 학회지의 총체적 연구 경향성을 파악하였다는데 의의가 있다.

지방자치단체 캐릭터의 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링 전략 연구 (A Study on Transmedia Storytelling Strategy of Local Government Character)

  • 지방자치단체 캐릭터는 정부와 공공기관의 지원에 힘입어 많은 양적 성장을 이루었다. 하지만 그에 비해 캐릭터를 활용한 지역 정체성 강화 및 지역경제 활성화 같은 성공사례는 매우 부족하다. 본 논문은 이러한 지방자치단체 캐릭터의 문제를 해결하려는 방안으로 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링 전략을 제시한다. 이를 위해 현재 지방자치단체 캐릭터의 문제점을 파악하고, 트랜스미디어 콘텐츠의 특성과 구성요소, 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링 원칙에 대한 선행 연구를 종합적으로 분석하여 현재 한국 지방자치단체 캐릭터의 활성화를 위한 전략과 기대효과를 도출했다. 지방자치단체 캐릭터의 트랜스미디어 전략은 지역 고유의 스토리 개발을 통해 지역의 정체성을 확립하는 1단계, 다양한 개별 미디어 플랫폼에 맞는 캐릭터 디자인 리뉴얼로 조형성을 개선하는 2단계, 그리고 마지막으로 개발 주체와 대중의 소통 및 참여를 바탕으로 하는 상호작용성 확장을 통한 활용성 제고의 3단계로 구성된다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 브랜드 마케팅 관점에서 지방자치단체 캐릭터의 활성화를 위한 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링 전략을 도출했다는 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 결론을 바탕으로 지방자치단체 캐릭터의 구체적인 사례에 적용하는 후속 연구의 필요성이 대두된다.

신문기사의 비판적 담론분석을 통한 재난대응에 대한 고찰 - 2017년 11월 '포항지진'을 중심으로 (A Review on Disaster Response through Critical Discourse Analysis of Newspaper Articles - Focused on the November 2017 Pohang Earthquake)

  • 연구목적: 본 논문은 재난의 복잡다단한 맥락을 구성하는 정치 경제 사회의 다양한 이해관계자들이 생성해내는 담론과 사회적 실천의 함의를 파악하여 국내의 효율적 재난대응 방안 모색을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법: 페어클로(Fairclough)의 비판적 담론분석(Critical Discourse Analysis) 모델을 적용하여 국내 대표적인 세 일간지에 실린 2017년 11월 포항지진 관련 신문기사를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 담론분석 결과, 첫째, 세 언론사에서는 지진 발생 이후 대응의 측면에서 재난대응 매뉴얼과 대피훈련의 낮은 실효성을 지적하였다. 둘째, 지진피해 복구 측면에서 대피소 서비스 강화와 이재민 지원 확대의 필요성을 강조하였다. 셋째, 내진설계 강화 및 문자알림 서비스 질 향상 등 향후 피해를 미연에 방지하기 위한 실천 노력을 제시하였다. 결론: 본 연구에서는 효과적인 국내 재난대응을 위하여 재난 예방 대책의 현실성 실효성 제고, 유기적이고 통합적인 재난대응체계 마련, 시민의 역할과 참여 강조, 전문가 집단의 책임감 및 이에 대한 견제, 재난대응 관련 건전한 담론형성을 위한 미디어의 역할을 제안하였다.

국민건강영양조사 구강검사 개요 (Data resource profile: oral examination of the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey)

  • Objectives: The Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) is a national surveillance system that has been assessing the health and nutritional status of Koreans since 1998. Based on the National Health Promotion Act, the surveys have been conducted by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC). Methods: An oral examination as part of The National Health and Nutrition Examination was proposed to calculate the sample design and survey participation. The surveying system was presented by classifying the measurement environment, screening, and survey items by year, and the merits and limitations of using the data were suggested by examining the status of survey quality management and the process of disclosing raw data. Results: This nationally representative cross-sectional survey samples approximately 10,000 individuals each year and collects information on oral examinations and oral health interviews. Data for the oral health component of KNHANES was obtained to assess the oral health status of Koreans and determine the prevalence of dental caries and periodontitis. The oral health data quality control of KNHANES was composed of three parts: "Education Program" and "Field Training Program" for quality control of oral health examiners (dentists) by the professional academy, and "Data management" by the KCDC. After completion of the three-step data check, the indicators of dental caries, periodontal disease, and oral health behavior were published in the National Health Statistics. Conclusions: To achieve the goals of oral health indicators, we will continue to monitor so that we can use it as basic data for oral policies and carry out various linkage analyses related to oral diseases.

걷기, 경관감상 그리고 향기를 이용한 산림치유프로그램이 독거노인의 치매예방에 미치는 효과 연구 (A Study of Walking, Viewing and Fragrance-based Forest Therapy Programs Effect on Living Alone Adults' Dementia Prevention)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 숲 환경을 이용한 산림치유 6대 요법 중 걷기, 경관 감상, 숲속 향기를 이용한 산림치유프로그램 체험활동이 독거노인의 인지기능, 우울, 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 삼척시에 거주하며 우울증과 건망이 심하다고 호소하는 독거노인 17명이 연구에 참여하였다. 이들은 각 두 집단으로 나뉘어 각 집단은 매 주 1회(총 6회기) 산림치유프로그램에 참여하여 설문조사를 하였다. 이들은 모두 인지기능, 우울, 삶의 질에서의 변화를 관찰하기 위해 한국형 간이 정신상태 검사(MMSE-K), BDI(Beck Depression Inventory 한국판), SF-36(Short Form 36 health survey questionnaire)에 대한 사전-사후(one-group pre-post test design) 설문지 검사를 받았다. 연구결과 치유 프로그램 참여 후 응답자의 정신상태와 우울 수준 그리고 삶의 질이 모두 유의미하게 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과를 통해서 산림환경을 이용한 치유프로그램 활동 참여가 은둔형 독거노인에게 인지기능 향상과 우울 해소 그리고 삶의 질 개선에 도움이 됨을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 홀로 남겨져 외부활동을 기피하는 은둔형 독거노인을 대상으로 정기적인 산림치유 프로그램에 참여토록 유도할 경우 나이와 환경으로 인한 치매 예방에 기여할 것으로 생각한다.

사이코드라마가 가정폭력 피해여성의 자존감, 안녕감, 불안, 우울에 미치는 효과 (The Effect on Psychodrama of Self-Esteem, Well-being, Anxiety and Depression for Battered Women)

  • 본 연구는 쉼터에 입소한 가정폭력 피해여성을 대상으로 사이코드라마를 시행하고 자존감, 안녕감, 불안, 우울에 미치는 효과를 확인하고자 하는 목적으로 시도되었다. 자료는 2015년 1월 4일부터 2월 26일까지 가정폭력 피해자 보호시설 입소자 7명을 대상으로 10회의 사이코드라마를 시행하였고, 사전-사후 설문을 통하여 수집하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도, 백분율, 피어슨 상관계수, Wilcoxon의 부호 순위검정을 하였다. 그 결과 대상자의 자존감은 불안(r=-.866, p =.012), 우울(r=-.824, p =.023)과 음의 상관관계를, 불안은 우울(r=.778, p =.040)과 양의 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 사이코드라마 시행 전 후 자존감, 안녕감, 불안 우울은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내지 못했지만 자존감과 안녕감의 사후점수가 상승하였고, 불안과 우울의 사후점수는 감소했음을 확인할 수 있었다. 가정폭력피해여성의 자존감과 안녕감을 증진시키고 불안과 우울을 감소시키기 위해서는 여가 및 심리지원 프로그램의 적용 및 사이코드라마에 계속적인 참여를 위한 장기 지원프로그램이 필요하다.

학교 공간에 관한 의미 탐색: 비판과 대안 (A Study on the Meaning of School Space: Criticism and Alternatives)

  • In school facilities, space is the basic framework. The structure and arrangement of space will provide the form and feel of school facilities. In order to become a high-quality school facility, it is necessary to focus on the educational, human and ecological aspects of the instructor and learner until the space is conceived, designed and completed. However, even when public education was introduced in the past, it did not become a school space considering this aspect. The school space, which focuses on efficiency and labor production, is a school space that reflects the characteristics of a factory-type school, which has been occupied by a large number until recently. Although efforts to improve the quality of school facilities have been attempted in recent years, there is also a need to pursue more active changes. Future-oriented and progressive school spaces include flexibility, connectivity, individualization, diversity(creativity). In other words, space should be flexible so that it can be used faithfully according to the educational situation, not the fixed and limited school space as in the past. In the future, the school space should be open and securely linked to the place where it is essential to complete community relations with the community. In addition, space should be flexible so that the school can meet the needs of each student as much as possible. And the school space should be transformed from the space design of the past fixed pattern to reflect the close relationship between spatial, psychological, physiological, and behavioral areas. When school space needs to shift away from the past and change in a new future-oriented direction, the remaining tasks should be presented with specific characteristics and content of the direction. And the function of the consignment should be handled by related research. Although the text of this study reveals the characteristics of future-oriented school space, more concrete and empirical research results should be presented by subsequent research at home and abroad. It is necessary to reduce trial and error in creating a future-oriented school space where both professors and learners can be satisfied by analyzing the common points and differences between the results of the study. In order to do this, it is necessary to make efforts to approach such research based on the participation of the subjects who teach and learn directly at the school site.

Impacts of Relative Advantage of Fast Food Restaurant's O2O Service and Consumer Involvement on Consumer Engagement, and Store Loyalty: Focused on MZ Generationsin Untact Consumption Era

  • Purpose: Fast food franchise companies are trying a variety of innovative services to increase their competitiveness in response to changes in population composition in the fast food market and rapid changes in consumption trends due to technological development. From this point of view, franchise companies that have focused on offline store operations are providing O2O (offline to online) service as a core service for customer convenience. This new attempt is a strategy to increase loyalty by applying an interaction method based on understanding the characteristics of new generation consumers. However, existing studies are focused on the relationship between O2O service and acceptance, so very little is known about how O2O service affects customer loyalty. Therefore, this study examines the impacts of customer involvement and relative advantages of fast food O2O service on customer brand engagement (cognitive and affective engagement) and store loyalty for MZ(Millennials - Z) generations. Research design, data, and methodology: In order to achieve the purposes of this research, several hypotheses were developed. The data were collected from 247 questionnaires in their 16-30s and were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and SmartPLS 3.0 program. Measurement model analysis was carried out to assess convergent and discriminant validity. Also, common method bias was tested using the values of VIF (variance inflation factor). The hypotheses was tested using structural equation modeling. Result: First, involvement has a positive effect on cognitive and affective engagement. Second, relative advantages have has a positive effect on cognitive and affective engagement. Third, cognitive influences affective engagement. Finally, both cognitive and affective engagement affect store loyalty, but affective engagement has a stronger effect on store loyalty than cognitive engagement. Conclusions: In the process of consumer-brand interaction, it was confirmed that store loyalty was influenced by cognitive and affective engagement sequentially. However, the results show that affective engagement has a relatively stronger on store loyalty than cognitive engagement. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an O2O service strategy to maintain long-term loyal customers by inducing cognitive participation with high-involved consumer, as well as affective interaction, in order to obtain new customers and increase customer loyalty.
