The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 version. Result: Almost half of the subjects were called as nurse researcher. Major tasks included participant screening (100%), participant scheduling (100%), and obtaining informed consent from participants (98.9%). The most difficult aspect of work was salary (28.6%). The mean score on the job satisfaction was 80.21 (range: 54.00-109.00). Item related to promotion ranked lowest in job satisfaction. There were significant differences in job satisfaction according to the type of hospital (t=-3.640, p<.001), title (t=7.894, p=.001), and route for information of CRC (t=4.970, p=.001). • In Daesoon Jinrihoe (The Society of Daesoon Truth), pilgrimages can serve as a medium to experience and spread Daesoon Thought. The purpose of this study is to gauge the empirical impact that the motive of a pilgrimage has on the satisfaction level of the participant and the participant's willingness to revisit the holy place. This study further suggests a variety of propositions to promote pilgrimages and thereby Daesoon Thought. This study employs hierarchical analysis for measuring the correlation between all factors the pilgrimage can entail and also the moderator variables (holy places) in the pilgrimage. The study reveals that empirical motive is one of the most influential factors in determining a given participant's level of satisfaction and willingness to revisit said holy place. It is also revealed also that the religious significance of a holy place plays an important role in satisfaction and future revisitation. This study claims pilgrimages are a form of learning and cultural exchange which promotes Daesoon Thought that enables maturity of religious faith. Thereby, all stake holders in the Daesoon Jinrihoe community including clergy should increase their efforts to raise awareness and recognition of Daesoon Truth.

  • The purpose of this study was to apply a concept map to the first-year students of radiologic science and report its effects. The concept map is a visual representation of a major concept and related linking statements. Concept maps are useful tools for students to construct and organize content they have learned. The subjects of this study were first-year grade and at one university in Chungbuk, Korea. They were divided into active and passive participant groups in the class. And they were evaluated the educational effects such as satisfaction, fidelity, learning achievement, and interest before and after using the concept map. As a result, the passive participant group significantly increased the educational effect except for satisfaction, and the active participant group significantly increased the educational effect in all variables (p<0.05). These results showed that concept mapping, which induces first-year grade students to participate in class, could be helpful in radiologic education. It is expected to be used as basic data in various radiologic educational methodology studies in the future.

  • This study examines the effect of sense of community on the relationship between learner satisfaction and influencing factors related to the online learning environment. Influencing factors related to the online learning environment are derived from previous literature and classified into two groups : social dimension (leader's enthusiasm, offline activities) and system dimension (usefulness, ease of use, enjoyability). Learner satisfaction is defined as the learners' perceived learning gains from taking an online class. Study participants included 250 university students from two different institutions. The participants were divided into 43 groups and asked to complete an online TOEIC preparation module using a commercial cooperative learning system over 4 weeks. Data were collected at three points for each participant, at the beginning, 3 weeks after, and at the end of the online module. Two system factors related to the online learning environment (ease of use, usefulness) directly influenced learner satisfaction, while social factors indirectly influenced learner satisfaction through the mediating role of sense of community.
